The composer Sri Sri kaivara Narayana yati was just not a bangle seller. He made penance and got enlightenment, and then a great devotee and visualizer of the future in the nineteenth century(may be 1850).His kalajnana is also famous in Kolar and Bangalore districts. His compositions kirtanas and bhajans are very much familiar to even folks of that area. His samadhi place is kaivara on the way from Bangalore to Chintamani. Best place developed by M/s M.S Ramaiah.

What an extraordinary song! This concert was part of the two-day "Living Legends" concert series at Trivandrum of Shri Manna Dey and Dr.M.Balamuralikrishna organized to commemorate their 85th and 75th birthdays respectively. My aunt and I were fortunate enough to have attended the concerts and feel truly blessed to have had the pleasure of listening to such amazing performances of these two evergreen legends live.
