Dodge trans must be all in how you take care of them. I purchased a 99 2500 AT 4x4, towed loaded horse trailer, boat and 24' gooseneck with 9k tractor. No trans problems and still ran/towed like a champ when I traded at 251k miles. Then a 2005 3500 dually, 4:10, AT 4x4. Same as first Dodge but towing approx 14k living quarters horse trailer all over the NC & VA mountains. No trans problems and running like a champ when I traded Spring 2018 at 207k miles. New one is the Ram 3500 dually limited 4x4 with HO 6.7 and Aisin trans, this truck is no less than a machine! Towing my 24' gooseneck, cab tractor with front loader and backhoe, just a dream to tow with. The 99 & 05 trucks were 100% stock, fuel filters changed every oil change at 5k miles, diffs, trans and transfer case fluids changed every 15k miles along with transmission filter. To many, the service was overkill but with towing most of their life, no engine or trans issues on either. The new Ram only has 11k miles but will remain stock
Look into the rams with the optional upgraded Aisin trans. They say theyre pretty bullet proof with stock power and can be built a bit if needed
Funny I have a friend with a 14 ram 3500 with 120000 miles and has had no problems
I use an Extang Xceed cover and never have had any water problems... but I did use sealant on the very front bulkhead seal and the hold-down strap modules.
DiamondBack bed covers are 100% waterproof. I had one but I got a Retrax since I wanted something more functional.

Eddie’s Life I have the under cover armor flex cover on my denali and it is dent/scratch proof..supports 600+ pounds on the top and no water except for a little trickle on the corners of the tail gate. But it is basically water proof.

I have a Truxedo Sentry CT and it’s pretty waterproof. Few storms and drive thru washes and yet to have any water in my bed.

Thanks for the video kind sir. Tons of real world information about the cover. Just my opinion here...but your truck has the perfect stance. Once you get much taller you lose function, also you start to look like you are trying to compensate for something. Or a lack of something.

Roll-N-Lock is another great cover that keeps your stuff dry.
I've had two roll-N-Locks. One on a 2014 Dodge and one on a 2019 F-250. Both leaked. I contacted RnL and their reply was that their covers are not meant to be waterproof.
I hope my channel gets this big one day 💪🏻
