    This is the best mill tutorial I have found anywhere on the net. I have been bboying for 10 years but have never fully attacked the windmill. My goal is to have nice, smooth continuous mills by the end of the month. Thanks for your help!

      Hey I know I’m seven years late but what did u do to fix the problem

  • @KaioFalcrow
    @KaioFalcrow  12 ปีที่แล้ว

    you're welcome :)
    with the head always on the ground the windmill is more flowing, the head cant hurt or beat the floor and the pelvis is a little bit higher, this is very helpfull for windmill combos or windmill variations :)

  • @NhatVayNen
    @NhatVayNen 7 ปีที่แล้ว

    I am practising to airflare ( i learned airflare from your Tutorial). but i also need to fix my windmill that head touching the floor. I really enjoy starting with headstand that will useful to improve my combo.
    I found many video to refer, whatever this is the best of them. Thanks so much!

    Is just about practice and practice.. and also learn variations, if u learn many variations, your basic windmill will improve a lot :)

    I believe this is the best windmill tutorial I have ever seen. Really interesting approach for learning the windmills, I like it a lot.
    But I personally believe that it's better when going into the windmill from standing position to be as low as possible, because that directs your momentum more into the rotation. Some people get almost into handstand and it kills their momentum.
    Anyway, keep up the good work :)
    Peace!

    FalCrow Production Like you say I think this is actually a way better method of learning windmills than the the baby freeze method. Not only do you get better form out of it I feel, but it better prepares you for more advanced windmills. Thank you for this great tutorial!

  • @KaioFalcrow
    @KaioFalcrow  13 ปีที่แล้ว

    @BboyZeus95 hey! ...when you do windmill you go from your back to the direction of your left shoulder if you are clockwise... so u have to learn roll back to headstand to the left side... rollback to elbow or to other freezes is different :)

  • @rumourfrey7129
    @rumourfrey7129 12 ปีที่แล้ว

    Thanks for the wishes! the crew came out in second place. Though it was a small price but who cares, we won something! xD I did practice a lot and I was able to get 4 windmills and then some footwork around it. It was nice for a guy that has been breakin' for around 7 months. But I had to leave the crew cause I'm moving to a different school and we can't really dance anymore together. but hey! Thanks a lot man! :)

  • @KaioFalcrow
    @KaioFalcrow  13 ปีที่แล้ว

    @iPSLee heyo!! before to practice head-back-head make sure u can do the steps from 2:05 to 2:23 ...u have to kick your legs like an hopped backspin... if u learn windmill with head babymills will come easier... but u can also practice it without using ur head : )

    Awesome tutorial man! I never thought about doing it from headstand and side freeze positions.. even though i cant pop up to headstands yet, restabbing into the side freeze helped my mills a lot just the first time i tried doing it.

    kick is the most important thing :) if u dont kick is very hard to do the windmill fist times... then when u learn how to kick u can focus on keep your legs tense and straight

    @DolphinDivingChamp 12 ปีที่แล้ว

    This is the weirdest but best windmill tutorial is have ever watched!

  • @KaioFalcrow
    @KaioFalcrow  13 ปีที่แล้ว

    @weirdboypro u have to kick hard with your legs, because if u don't kick u lose your momentum and the form will be low, if u kick high ur body will be high and your head on the floor :)

  • @KaioFalcrow
    @KaioFalcrow  12 ปีที่แล้ว

    hey! to roll your head always on the floor you need to be high with your hips, so u will land only on the upper part of your back and it will be easier to put your head on the floor.. also kick hard with your legs when u are about to go on your back.. it will help to land higher... I also suggest u to practice it slow at the beginning, just to understand the movement, then start to practice it fast :) ...if u will practice the headstand to headstand windmill it will be easier btw :)

  • @KaioFalcrow
    @KaioFalcrow  13 ปีที่แล้ว

    @palmcron mmm before to practice headstand to side freeze u should learn side freeze very well... just practice queda de rins with your head on the floor and after try to open your legs as you can... u could also try baby freeze and other freezes to get more confidence with the movements :)

  • @Machoman720

    @Fenririon I think is about the rotation of your legs... but i'm not sure, i know some guys doing the windmill moving around but i dunno why xD ...but i think is still nice :)

  • @KaioFalcrow
    @KaioFalcrow  13 ปีที่แล้ว

    @nivlacer just push with your knees :) ..yes it lifts a bit

  • @KaioFalcrow
    @KaioFalcrow  12 ปีที่แล้ว

    I explain and show that in this tutorial from 1:27 to 2:00 :)
    U need the side freeze before to practice basic tricks btw

  • @KaioFalcrow
    @KaioFalcrow  12 ปีที่แล้ว

    you are welcome bro :)
    I suggest u to learn each move step by step, never skip something, because if u skip your progres will be much slower because u can get stuck easily, if u learn step by step u will improve faster :)

  • @KaioFalcrow
    @KaioFalcrow  13 ปีที่แล้ว

  • @KaioFalcrow
    @KaioFalcrow  13 ปีที่แล้ว

    @MegaCool180 your windmill is not bad, try to kick faster with your legs and keep your legs as open as you can... for the flare u need to practice it a lot... is hard to improve it in just few attempts, u need practice practice practice practice practice practice practice and time :) don't worry!

  • @kingkaki3822
    @kingkaki3822 11 ปีที่แล้ว

    ur tutorials really helped me out thanks a lot kaio much love :) on my other page ill upload my progression

  • @KaioFalcrow
    @KaioFalcrow  11 ปีที่แล้ว

    before to learn mill I can already do backspin to flare, so when I tried windmill i thought: "I have to do the same movement of backspin to flare, but instead to go into flare I redo backspin". It tooks me just few attempts to learn it. some minutes. because I had already all the basics that I show in this video.
    thats why its very important to master the basics before to practice a new move. because u'll learn it in NO time! if u cant the basics, it will takes days, weeks, month or even years

  • @KaioFalcrow
    @KaioFalcrow  11 ปีที่แล้ว

    Hey!
    you should push harder your arm, kinda like a side freeze to elbow freeze..and kick harder your legs to get more rotation.. if u have a good boost, u will not hurt or shot :)

  • @BboyTechnica

    Hey! I learn windmill in this way 1st and Im not the only one, and I think its the best way! and maybe even easier :) (starting by rollback)
    thanks for your opinion btw

  • @KaioFalcrow
    @KaioFalcrow  12 ปีที่แล้ว

    good bro! to go from windmill to headstand u have to try that rollback to headstand first, then try to add rotation to your rollback until it becomes kinda like a backspin.. then u can try it to windmill :)

  • @KaioFalcrow
    @KaioFalcrow  13 ปีที่แล้ว

    @grewiss no problem :) yeay!

  • @KaioFalcrow
    @KaioFalcrow  12 ปีที่แล้ว

    you dont have to "collapse", u have to kick and push with the arm in the same time to go on the upper part of your back and your head :) ..i show it in this tutorial from 2:35 to 2:44 ...be sure to master tha basic tricks!

    @TraphikPoppin mmm maybe u should practice more hopped backspin and rollback to headstand to learn how to kick high

  • @bboytrod2456
    @bboytrod2456 12 ปีที่แล้ว

    Awesome video the best form of a windmill I've ever seen it looks sick. But i'm having trouble with staying off my lower back and i spin counter clockwise my shoulder countinues to hurt bad after i practice I also have trouble with the collapse and kick...

  • @KaioFalcrow
    @KaioFalcrow  12 ปีที่แล้ว

    Yo!
    sure its possible to do it without using the head, but I dont reccomend this way because it will be harder to transition with other moves.
    to get higher u have to push your hips as high as you can and also kick your legs very high!

  • @KaioFalcrow
    @KaioFalcrow  12 ปีที่แล้ว

  • @KaioFalcrow

  • @KaioFalcrow
    @KaioFalcrow  11 ปีที่แล้ว

    Yes :)
    I mean that u should try this till when it will be very very easy for you, then go to the next step

  • @KaioFalcrow
    @KaioFalcrow  11 ปีที่แล้ว

    thanks a lot bro! :))
    mmm to get fast windmills is only about practice and practice.. try to control the speed of your windmills, like try to do them very slow, then normal speed, then even faster.. this is a good exercise to get more control/momentum and to increase the speed :)

  • @KaioFalcrow
    @KaioFalcrow  12 ปีที่แล้ว

    hey mmm I'm not sure if I get your mistake... could you post a video so I can see it and give u better tips?
    anyway if I think right, maybe u should kick your legs higher when u are on your back and also kick them harder when u are about to go on your back again

  • @KaioFalcrow
    @KaioFalcrow  13 ปีที่แล้ว

    @bboypg hey! penso che farò un tutorial anche per quello... ti spiego come lo faccio io, ma non so se è la tecnica corretta: alla partenza spingo molto con le gambe per prendere velocità, dopo il primo giro rilasso le gambe e spingo solo con il busto e le braccia, le gambe vanno da sole, e tengo la testa sempre appoggiata... quando lo si fa la sensazione è molto diversa dal windmill normale xké in uno si lavora di gambe, nell'altro di busto, almeno io faccio così...

  • @KaioFalcrow
    @KaioFalcrow  11 ปีที่แล้ว

    Hey :)
    di you try it from rollback like I show in this video? this is the best way to learn how to kick/push to your head and to learn it with the best form :)

  • @KaioFalcrow
    @KaioFalcrow  13 ปีที่แล้ว

    @TheBboyikklee hey! what you mean with "my legs always come together"? mmm... u have to kick high your legs..

  • @KaioFalcrow
    @KaioFalcrow  11 ปีที่แล้ว

    probabilmente tu parti dandoti qualche tipo di spinta?
    abituati a provare il windmill partendo da fermo.. o dalla testa o dal side freeze, come mostro nel tutorial.. senza nessuna spinta di inerzia iniziale. in questo modo sarai costretto a fare il movimento + corretto e spingere + forte e non sarà un problema spingere per i giri successivi :)

  • @trapdoorspider

  • @KaioFalcrow
    @KaioFalcrow  12 ปีที่แล้ว

    yeas, the secret is to kick very high and push your hips always up...so ur head will always touching the floor.. train it also from headstand to headstand :)

  • @KaioFalcrow
    @KaioFalcrow  12 ปีที่แล้ว

    for me it takes just few days because before to practice windmilll my backspin was already good and i learned backspin to flare before windmill xD ...so depends from your basics

  • @KaioFalcrow
    @KaioFalcrow  12 ปีที่แล้ว

    Hey! thank you! :)
    I think you could start with some basic footworks and toprocks.. and with some freezes, like baby freeze, headstand, elbow freeze, handstand.. you can find many tutorials I think :)

  • @jasonwu4434
    @jasonwu4434 10 ปีที่แล้ว

    I was wondering if you had any tips as to how to stay on the upper back. Thanks!

  • @KaioFalcrow
    @KaioFalcrow  12 ปีที่แล้ว

    thanks :)
    Yes is possible, just use the baby freeze position instead than side freeze :)

  • @KaioFalcrow
    @KaioFalcrow  12 ปีที่แล้ว

    @ImLovingUrSmile when u are about to go into freeze position or head position :)

  • @KaioFalcrow
    @KaioFalcrow  11 ปีที่แล้ว

    ciao :)
    perché è più pratico da collegare ad altre powermoves ed è anche più bello da vedere, pulito e corretto :) ..se si usa il freeze classico si è costretti a stare in una posizione più bassa ed è più difficile tenere la testa appoggiata tutto il tempo

  • @KaioFalcrow
    @KaioFalcrow  12 ปีที่แล้ว

    hey!
    did you try to start with a rollback? like i explain in this tutorial? if u didnt u should try :) I think is a good alternative way to learn it and it works better than normal tecnique :)

  • @KaioFalcrow
