    Calling that 90's OEM stereo "killer" is a huuuuuge stretch! Functional maybe. I had the head unit and speakers in my 2000 S10 swapped out in a couple months. Add a sub and then you get killer!

    Something tells me this sunroof pretty much trashed the value of that truck as well.

    • @1spaghetti32
      @1spaghetti32 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      What value? Over 125K miles, this thing is worth $5,000.

    • @bmstylee
      @bmstylee 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Fine. For someone who appears to not be particularly quick I will explain. Cutting a hole in this truck when it was new also destroyed its value.

    • @1spaghetti32
      @1spaghetti32 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@bmstylee For someone that claims to be quick, you missed the fact that he cut a hole in a truck that is barely 1 step away from being recycled. Hence my original question.

      @@1spaghetti32 first of all this show was filled like 15 years ago. Chevy had just released the avalanche. And not only that but that truck in today’s market is worth double what you’re saying in that condition before cutting the hole.

      @@feastorfamineauto Oh that's right. As of the last few months a shiny turd is now $5,000. Whatever.

    Stacey, I have a 96 F150, I'm looking into modifying it to be an '02 Silverado. Can you tell me the parts I'll need? And can it be done over two weekends? Thanks for the help

    Hay Stacy! I love the show, I purchased an 03 avalanche, Z71 with 80k miles and love it so far. I already made the front into a bench to fit all my kids for camping and going on adventures. What would you recommend I do next to my daily driver?

    Yo..Stacy I thought when you install a sunroof in a vehicle you need to have those drain tubes at each corner in the roof, otherwise the sunroof will leak.😎✌

    The Avalanche was NOT a pickup. A pickup has two separate body assemblies. The cab and the bed. The Avalanche is all one body assembly. They literally took and SUV and cut the top half of the rear section off and walled it off behind the rear seats. It was a fad that faded fairly quick.

    • @gregsonnenberg396

      Its still a bad biotch

    • @americanpatriot2.06
      @americanpatriot2.06 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@gregsonnenberg396 I never liked the styling. And that massive plastic abomination on the back of the "cab" took up a lot of bed space. The bed without that plastic piece was smaller than its real pickup counterparts. I think the El Camino/ old school Blazer (with the removable back top) was the inspiration for the Avalanche. As far as the drivetrain and suspension goes, it's not any different than any of the other GM SUVs/Pickups. In a way, it's the bridge between SUVs and Pickups, but it's subpar for those two categories in regard to space and hauling categories.
