Bingo brawlers season 3 day 1 match between @star0chris @adef and @puppery @catalystz Match Schedule at: bingobrawlers.... Live matches at: / captain_domo Edits by: JAMO
Cattery played so quickly, their execution was excellent on some of the harder skips! I’m surprised they lost their first game, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it was them vs Brino again in the finals! Love the update UI, great work as always Domo!
Cattery and Brino definitely show great planning skills. I haven't watched the videos from Cattery's perspective (I will), but for Brino I know Bri does a LOT of routing and planning, which is amazing to see when paired with Gino's more focused skillset.
I think Cata was caught off guard a bit by Gino punishing his inefficient routing to Magma Wyrm and it kinda snow-balled from there. He was the undisputed fastest player in S2, so he's gotta adjust to someone else being on his level.
One thing I'd like to see changed would be that the teams aren't allowed to take the same starting class as their partner to get more variety. Season so far very cool tho good work domo!
I expected such a blowout victory from Cattery. Really surprised how close this ended up being. Positive Vibes are such an interesting team. Adef is acutely aware he is the least experienced, in bingo in particular of all the players. They make up for it by being the team that is best at playing to their strengths - dividing their tasks according to squares they individually are best at. Adef's training arc have also been insane. He has put a lot of hours and effort in preparing for S3, and this game clearly showed how much progress he has made.
Really loving the format and the overlays you all are doing a great job! This was a wild board there was huge potential to snowball with Radahn + fists only, Loretta, and going underground.
Just a survey to see how people would feel about a rule change: No more quit outs to get out of combat, but infinite memory of grace. You wanna get out of combat, you gotta make a decision
Quit-outs are just as much a tactical tool as anything else. It's a skill to quit out at the right time and I think it's fair to allow such advanced players to make use of their skills. It does not 'break' the game in any way, it's not an exploit in that it doesn't make use of bugs or glitches. If we removed that ability and forced them to MoG then people who get sniped in boss battles actually lose even MORE time than they already have. It would mean punishing those who are at a disadvantage and widening the gap between teams. It would be a clear advantage towards snipers (even if they don't know they're sniping) and impact outcomes.
Nah, I've never had a problem with quit outs, I think it's fine how it is. It just cuts down on time-wastes. There's rarely a situation where they quit out where they couldn't have just killed the enemies on them or use a memory of grace. Quitting out is more convenient and lets us watch more of the actual bingo match. Memory of grace just wastes time and punishes the players for pivoting off squares mid-boss. Plus, sometimes they just quit out to get access to the map faster because the game does have a bit of a problem with considering you "in combat" even when the enemies are nowhere near you.
The team colour indicator is excellent. Thanks for the fast update to the layout. You're doing great work.
Really appreciate the small updates to the overlay. Love these!
16:13 domo intensely focused editing in the scores is so funny to me

I don't really think forcing starting class variety is really that important or would substantially improve the match or anything

Loving the layout btw! Lots of little improvements have gone into it.
At least Domo realized that Niall wasn't O'Neill lol
Shoutout domo awesome work man
Casting for these matches seems like it'd be so much fun.
Intense and very close match, well done teams
Great game and great layout improvement
puppery lost the 1v2 day one, and absolutely carried this time
Probably not nescessary but grabing Lifesteal Fist AOW would've been useful for occult Iron Balls, to scale with that 30 arcane investment
Great UI update :) and quick too
Thank you for the entertainment, here's for the algorithm!
Oh'Nile 😂
Honestly, I can live with that. Just call them both O'Niall/Oh'Nile etc. The swamp O'Niall and the Sol O'Niall. 🤣
Great match. Adef had a few unfortunate deaths to NPCs that ate up some time.
Anyone else ready to go on a f***ing rampage if I hear "Commander O'Niall" one more time? Aaaaaaaarrrrrgggghhhhhh!
You good? That is a pretty minor thing to get worked up about.
@@joshuaharris7560 Yeah I agree lol. And yes I'm fine thanks. It was so many times tho. And I was exaggerating my exasperation somewhat.
I know it's a very minor mistake but it does bother me a bit too haha
Just here for the Domo handsomeness
