- Today I look at the upcoming 6" Batman: The Animated Series Batman Beyond figure set from DC Collectibles. This set includes figures of Terry McGinnis as Batman, old man Bruce Wayne and his dog ACE. The Batman figure comes with wings, 4 pairs of hands and a baterang. Bruce Wayne comes with 3 pairs of hands and a cane. Look for this set to be released in February 2017.

Batman Beyond is one of the best Batman cartoons period, so cool to see it getting some love. Good stuff, but hope DC Collectibles has addressed the poor plastic quality.
L.A. November 2019 Agreed. What made it unique was that it did something new with the characters. It wasn't just another reboot or a adaption of a already popular comic. Plus it eventually became so popular it eventually became a comic.
This is fantastic. Bruce looks so goddamn irritated. The perfect old man Bruce expression.

AWESOME! DC Collectibles is KILLING IT with this animated line and just when I lost hope after Mattel had their crack at this line. We just need a Batman Beyond Batmobile! People, please buy this Batman Beyond set so we can show them there is demand for a Batmobile. With the INCREDIBLE job DC Collectibles had done with the Animated Batmobile & Batwing I can't wait to see what they can do with the Batman Beyond Batmobile!

In addition do you like the One Piece, Variable Action Heroes? I have Luffy, Ace, Tony Chopper, Zoro, & Nami. And will be getting Usopp in february, as well as Whitebeard in March. :-D I just need a Nico Robin and a Sanji to at least have Luffy's main Straw Hat Pirate Crew. And I have the Figma One Punch figure x

Jesus why is the Bruce figure so huge? Sure he was taller than terry in his prime but this dude is a hulk. Makes it sort of hard to believe he wore that suit at one time

The best Batman beyond ever made, just saw the mezco, thought they were great and Terry is my fav but the cloth doesn't work.
I wish Batman was a little taller, and the Terry McGinnis head should have been included. Other than that, they're awesome! I think I'll stick with the Matty Exclusive version I have.
I hope they make other characters from Batman Beyond into action figures. Like Shriek, Blight and Inque... I definitely would buy Inque.

the wings looks kind of odd because of how low are his arms, if only he can move them a little bit higher it would be perfect
I think I got a Proto type Old Bruce Wayne. I got him off eBay for 10 bucks. The seller wanted 50 to buy now, or starting bid was 10.
I have to get this not because it's a great figure but the fact is I've got most of the series already and I must complete it.

very nice figure set awesome review. granted these figures are better than what had been originally been done in the 1990s the older figures are nice too and had quality even with less articulation. if this show is brought back and is reintroduced I hope they do more with all of batman's allies and advisaries. also another thing that is a better add on with terry mcguines batman is having a right hand that can be used to put against glass window or a wall so that he would listen and record conversations just as he did in the batman beyond animated series. and putting it against his cowl. and designing another pair of hands for Bruce wayne that has him holding a batarang and a left hand that is flat and or a index finger that is going to point and or press something

Cody Mosby yes that would be cool. maybe we might even get a battle damage batman beyond figure from an episode of the show where someone's essence was transfered in the suit and Terry battles it
Since this is coming out, is there any talk of dc collectibles releasing the joker from The Return of the Joker movie or from Justice League Unlimited?

Jay C Nice review! I've had this preordered since day 1 so it will only cost me 39.99. But I know it's going for like 54.99 retail now, right? Either way I ended up giving up my preorder for the Dark Knight Returns figure set (with Carrie as Robin and Mutant Leader) When I gave up the preorder it was 39.99 as well but for some reason I wasn't paying attention & I looked and it was 59.99 after!! That's quite a difference so I decided to hold off on that set. Batman Beyond is my favorite Batman series besides the Animated series which I still place behind 1st place Batman Beyond. Remember that red button on his belt activates his wings ;) Nicely done bro thanks for showing us

I had the other set (Dark Knight Returns) for 44.99 too but like I believe I mentioned I canceled it. It was supposed to be out last fall trust me I'm almost 40 years old I run a TH-cam Channel myself whst you can check my credibility of how much I buy and if you really wanna see it or show you a screen grab but it'll probably make you feel broke. I just got my figures today. There is some kind of paint or scratch on Batman's left rib. is that normal? Because I'm afraid that if I attempt to remove it, I may end up damaging the figure.

Batman's headsculpt is inaccurate. The eyes are generally smaller, and not so far apart.

I love Batman Beyond, but man these figures doesn't do the animation any Justice. You'd think they would add a little more detail with the figures, they just look so plain.

The set looks fine but the articulation on the wings looks ugly, I wish it was a solid piece.

Jesus David Martinez Silveyra ...so he should have a bunch of ugly joints etc? The articulation is perfect for the kind of figures these are. They look like they jumped right off the screen...which is the point. Not every figure should have Spider-Man like articulation...smh

Wow, what a terrible set. Terry's too short, the wings look awful, and BB's sculpt looks like a 90s toy. Bravo, DCC. Between broken joints and garbage like this you'll kill the line in no time!!
