    wouldn't these run better in the water if the thorax was on other side

      Not really. It’s not a jig hook

      @@FlyFishFood I guess I mean the angle of the eye. I understand it's not a jig hook. I'd just think on the drift it wouldn't sit the way it's supposed to, it's a question I guess cause I havnt looked at any on the drift. But I'd think with a curved up salmon eye type style hook the fly would run the proper way.

      @@jowhi9296 it’s much less to do with the eye and more to do with what’s on the hook.

      @@jowhi9296 Trout food tumbles with the current and eddies in the flow. There is no "right side up".
