I love hearing your POV of your experience! Could you see yourself settling down long term in Charlotte if you found a solid friendship group and/or partner to raise a family?
I currently live in Charlotte and I like it ,but I’ve been considering Houston because the teacher pay is higher and I’m 23 and single and thought it would be a fun city! I’m curious but scared to go that far all alone and not like it. I’m also pretty comfortable and starting to make friends. Do you think you’ll stay in Charlotte long term? Or move to houston with your sister ?
I’ve watched a couple of your videos already.. Thanks for the honestly girl lol. I’m moving to Charlotte in a couple months. I’ve visited twice and I enjoyed myself when I was there. I’m from NY but I’m I’ve been living in Raleigh for a year.. Raleigh is not for me lol but I feel like Charlotte would be better. Wouldn’t mind hanging out with you.
I have been thinking about leaving Charlotte, but I don't have the energy to move to another state. I agree with you working remote is not for me neither.
@@EJIMANnenaNgozi And why do you like Charlotte more? Or are you in Texas now? I don't know how to buy anything anywhere in the country nowadays bc home prices are so high.
@@EJIMANnenaNgozi okay yes 👌 texas is the wave... in my opinion I think Dallas is much better than houston but either way both Houston and Dallas is lit 🔥
Are there educated Black men there? I am asking this question because I noticed that NC does not have enough black men that are educated with no children like the cities of Denver and Seattle.
I sense frustration… try going to the Jamaican joint restaurant are a Jamaican joint. If it doesn’t work out you’ll definitely get some children and a family legacy. At least you’ll have a guy that can cook and clean and going to work.
People are important but location still helps and is important

I'm hopeful to move to Charlotte 🙏🏾

Hey India! Houston isn’t for me but I get why you would choose it over Charlotte. More to do and bigger.
My father from Charlotte.Half my family down there.I was born up north. I may visit but Charlotte still wack. You got 2 years in, you can handle it.
Great video, Queen 🌟 Can you elaborate more on why you don't like work-from-home? 🤔 I love it because I can travel to exotic places and still work 🌻
Get lonely, have to make effort to be around people, can make you lazy lol. But I’m back to wfh and I’m making it work!
Try a church called “Have Life”. I love that church!
Thanks!
You should try Calvary Christian, Charlotte or The Well, Rock Hill for church.

Also moving to Charlotte! Just before the new year. Originally from Boston, lived in Raleigh for a year. Raleigh is not it for me.
Please move. Raleigh is not the best place for a young single black woman!
Would you say it’s more for families?

Hello Yusuf! I’m not on Facebook but I use meetup to find groups.
Where are you from originally? I thought of moving to Charlotte. But I'm not from the East Coast, so I'm not sure if it's for me.
Hi Lupe. I am originally from NJ.

Yes, you have to grow up in the South to be apart of their community. It is very clickish and based on social class.
Interesting.
What city would you move to if you decided to leave charlotte
Great question! Houston or Dallas most likely.

Great question. I’m sure they are here! Just depends on where you go. Overall I’ve noticed that education isn’t pushed as much down here overall.
