This is a great video! I was never a coffee drinker, but I did get those fancy Frappuccino drinks from Starbucks loaded with sugar. I stopped sugar and wanted a drink that I could add my monk fruit drops to as a sweetener. I have been obsessed with cappuccinos and now I want to make them myself to save money. I stumbled across this Keurig and went to find a tutorial and yours is so great and helpful. Thanks so much! Makes me feel like I’ll know what I am doing.

oh, I love this machine I just bought one and received it yesterday and I love the brew remote😅
Love watching your videos and tutorials. I have learned a lot. I am having a problem with my brew basket to use my personal coffee. The basket does not fit the machine. It has the five holes and closes tight but does not go into the opening and will not sit flush.
I really wish that they had the magnetized frother. So much easier to clean. I really don’t like being afraid every time I try to thoroughly wash it, that I am risking getting water where it shouldn’t be or I’m not cleaning it good enough. But as usual, another great video!

I was thinking the same thing.
I just add water and tiny amount of dish soap. Let it froth it. Dump that out rinse with water and then let clean water froth in it.
It’s not fool proof either but I have found that to get the best clean with minimal chance of getting the bottom wet.

I L❤V MINE…SO FAR! I ONLY BUY DARK ROAST COFFEES. I DO PLAN ON PURCHASING A LARGER MILK FROTHER BY MAESTRI AS A BACK-UP! I USE INTERNATIONAL DELIGHT CREAMER AND FROTH IT…IT WORKS PERFECTLY! I WILL BE GETTING THE DUNKIN CREAMER YOU RECOMMENDED AS WELL!

Awesome demo! But the reason why it came out bitter on 8:30 is because the shot dies after 8-10 seconds literally unless you hit it with some kind of milk. It was sitting while you were showing us. No big deal. We're here to help! 💪😝😎

I bought one before I ran across this review and love it! Have you had a chance to review the Insta pot milk frothier? I have one of those and that works well as well.
I wish that you could froth the milk simultaneously with the coffee so they don't lose their temperature waiting for the other to be done....Also, not crazy about how you have to be so careful to clean the frother cup; otherwise, it looks like a nice unit... Thanks for your thorough review...
Just increase the Temperature setting. I run the Frothier to run first but have the coffee ready to go. As soon as the frothier stops the coffee will automatically start.

Quick question have you ever Frothed half and half and would you recommend it? Just got my new Keurig Smart Single Serve Maker yesterday and since it's my first ever coffee maker I'm so excited to try it out! Up until now I've been using my mother's French Press lol which is fine however I hate being able to taste the coffee grounds it's so weird to me and pretty gross tbh.
I like that the concentrated shots look dark. My current Keurig latte machine makes weaker/ watery shots. The machine looks both interesting and makes me nervous that there is more that could go wrong than my current one. I fill my milk to the max line on my current one but use the cappuccino setting to lower froth and temperature. I can see how they improved that need. I can’t stand how almond milk tastes in mine, like it is burned. I like that there are 5 needles on top instead of just one.

is this going to keep hapenig? maybe im not descaling more frequently, i allways leave the lip open, i dont take off the water container forn the machine to refill bcus 1rst one had the seal gone wrong with the add water error.... btw i still have the last 2 on the garage sitting there
Are you able to dispense hot water with the shot settings? We use our current Keurig to make instant oatmeal packets as well as drinks and want to dispense 2-4 Oz of hot water at a time but haven’t been able to verify if it’s possible with this model. Thank you for this awesome review!

I bought this coffee maker on Sat. How get frothier very hot? When tried first time didn’t seem that hot. Do I need push something on coffee maker to get very hot?
Do you know why when you open the machine, it makes a sound from the machine? Every time I do, and it keeps making a weird vibrating sound

When measuring temperature you need to measure what's in the cup, not the stream. The first stream is very cold until it heats up. You have an average to measure accurately.
He did measure both the stream and then again immediately in the cup.
I bought this and made a latta and got no foam with it on 3. Wonder if I got a bad machine.
I got one for Christmas and I was trying to do the first cleaning brew, it told me Error, and now it won't even turn on. Im not sure what I did wrong or how i'm supposed to fix it.

Great video! Just bought 1 but I use reusable pods. How do you disconnect the Pod ID function? I cut the top off of a pod I had and have to place that on top of the reusable pod.
I would also like to know how to use reusable pods otherwise this machine is useless
The strangest thing happened. When I used a pod with a unbleached paper pod filter the maker saw it as a pod. But when I tried using it without the paper filter, the message said please insert pod. CRAZY but it worked for me. @@rachamasta

The smart brew works off the QR code on the pod it doesn't read the name on the top. There are espresso K-Cups out there

Walmart sells a Keurig K Cafe essentials with a built in frother for $99, that would be a nice choice.

no, Keurig has a great warranty on it.
Sooo for convenience, froth first then preset coffee settings so walk away and they can work back to back allowing you to skip 1 step. 🧐
Can you keep the top on the frother while it’s frothing so the it maintains its temp while the coffee is brewing?

Neat machine I just hate k cups. The waste, the process, etc. still rocking my ninja hot and cold and so far nothing has replaced it. Have tried a few but keep going back.
Reusable cups?
What happens if the water dispenser empties and air does get in? During the descale it emptied completely and I couldn’t figure out fast enough how to stop
so i could overheat and you will need to rest the thermostat if it does not power up anymore. but if it still works you just need to unplug it and try all over again but this time you can use just water in place of the descale solution.
Can you brew two cups through a single pod, or will the brewer refuse to brew through a previously used pod? I ask because both my wife and I brew an 18oz cup through our current Keurig by brewing a 12oz cup, followed by a 6oz brew right after using the same pod. Is this possible with this new machine?
avoid this machine, it is marketing gone bad, simply buy a different version

@justadad I have one of these and RIPPING MY HAIR OUT with auto-off “powersave” after 3 minutes. Cannot seem to figure out how to disable it completely. I tried support and they are clueless. Did yours do this???
all the new ones do this, since they heat up so fast there is no need to keep the unit on that long. For me there is not different if the machine is off or on, when I lift the handle and put a k cup in it brews the same amout of time.
@@JustADad There are instructions on the internet how to by-pass this. Yet for k-cafe it says press STRONG button and 10 oz to disable. There is no strong button. Thanks anyways

I have a normal keurig, I’ve never really made anything other than a cup of coffee, so I might try to get one of these to play with, and try cappuccinos or lattes. I know the frother will do regular milk and that, but how does it do with Lactaid milk? It seems thicker than regular milk.

Can you turn off the BrewID? I always use the reusable k-cups so I'd rather not wait for it to notice I don't have something from Keurig in there.
disconnect it from the wifi and the brew id is disabled.
Do you have to download the app and connect to wifi before you can even use it; or can you just unbox, pop a pod in, and run it? ☕

Has to do with voltage requirements. Nespresso has the same issue in the US.

Make sure the reservoir is seated properly and flush to the body if the Keurig. I’ve only seen error 11 a handful of times and properly seating the reservoir helped.

Why is my machine not frothing almond milk
The k elite can't handle powder drinks, it pushes the water faster than powder can dissolve and backs up into machine and shuts it off. I bought it for coco and I have to remove k cup cover and dump into cup and use machine for water. I emailed them about this and few years later they came out with 5 pin machines. Make some coco and after remove the cover and see if it dissolves all the powder or back to drawing board. They need powder drinks setting.

Can generic non keurig branded k cups such as Walmart or Kroger branded k cups be used with this. I know some of the older keurigs with brew ID only allowed keurig branded k cups to be used.
