My idea is that the Liopleurodon thing should last forever and not disappear, but take away the effect after 30mins.
Also make it a little harder to tame and boost the stats.

I think they should add a liopleurodon that doesn't have the effect but they don't disappear and then they still have 1 with the effect but it's rare and disappears after a certain amount of time kinda like it's an alpha version of the normal 1

I think they should make the lioplierdon (I probably butchered that) a more common sight that are permanent tames but then much rarer magical liopluerdons spawn as well that only last the 30 mins

I mean its simple solution really. What you can do with the dino is make it perma tamable but make it so you can only use the buff every few hours e.g. just like mating intervals you can set it so that buff intervals will be about 6-7 hours (buff would last for 10min) or maybe even longer. Then you can have a cool dino with a buff from time to time
They should do something where the lio stays until it dies but the buff only lasts for half an hour a day

Personally, I like that he has decided to not do a facecam. One, it is his personal privacy. Two, I always form an image in my head of what people look like and I cannot help feeling disappointed when they look nothing like their voices haha.

It did have a saddle and a ton of animations in the dev kit but WildCard were in such a hurry to add the rest of the creatures they promised and gave us this peice of laziness. I think the leopluradon was the only creature in this game that got my hopes up in the dev kit but disappointed me when realised. Huge miss opportunity on an awesome creature WC.

Maybe in a future update they'll upgrade it to be permanent and give it good stats but they no longer have the loot increase

The devs didn't make it not disappear because it was not realistic. They made it because if people kept it forever they could keep getting op loot.

Jeff H liopleurodon is far from being the king of the ocean in the game and in real life it was "only" 6 meters
In comparison of it to apex predators of different times we have:
Mosasaurus: 15 meters
Megalodon, unknown but max is estimated at between 12 to 18 meters
Orca (male): between 6 to 8 meters
I meant the ocean...as I said....not the Leopleurodon. As in the ocean on Ragnarok is AMAZING, this is like 20 foundations wide...it sucks.
