  • In this video "Why BLM is Racist and Why Language Matters!" we look at the Black Lives Matter movement and why it is racist.
We will also look at what one of the Black Lives Matter (BLM) founders has to say about the All Lives Matter slogan.
By critically assessing the BLM movement's responses to global issues and the criticisms it faces, we explore how language shapes our understanding of social movements.
We look at what the BLM movement has to say about the mass murder of the Israeli people and critically discuss why the BLM movement, through its linguistic patterns, is in support of the mass murder of people and supports terrorists.

Good breakdown. The "this is anti-everything else" subtext is proven when you bring up how many people are killed that aren't black. You get the immediate, "But...". Proving your point.

So, "White Lives Matter" is inherently racist? Or are you going to give me a "...but...." here?

Similarly, the 'White Ribbon' movement calling to stop violence against women implies that only violence towards women matters, even though men are overwhelmingly more the victims of violence including murder (75 to 80% committed by men, 20 - 25% committed by women).

Black man here....i agree with your title...but it's like when you do a math problem and do the wrong work and get the wrong answer.
A headline of protest is supposed to grab attention. People saying All lives matter are saying that protest doesn't matter. Black live matter is a cry for a attention... not attending to reason for the protest is going against the protest.
Dr King said call for the civil treatment of black people and white Americans took that as a threat to their imposed superiority.
People will always have problems with wording. That's why we have lawyers.
Black lives matter is racist based on it's actions and platform.

Lame. Back in the 80s when we were saying "Save the whales", nobody was trying to say "f*ck the dolphins". It was just that the whales were in a state of danger more than the dolphins were, so we were drawing attention to the pressing issue

      "lame"
Says the person who needs to change the subject to "address the point"... There have been multiple species of dolphin that went extinct since the 80's... Not to mention the fact that the focus on large mammals have left the vast majority of species to be underfunded...
As the guy in the video points out the saying that one single part of a species matters DOES imply that the rest don't matter to the same extent...

So does this mean "End The Iraq War" means that no other wars should end? Does "I stand with Israel" mean they don't stand with any other countries?

You’re not understanding the DEEP indoctrination and narratives being pushed. But, DONT LOOK UNDER THE CURTAIN! You might be DISGUSTED and shocked.
Why is it okay to say “black lives matter”
But then “white lives matter” is instant white supremacy nazi bigot every phobia under the sun huh? Do you SEE WHATS HAPPENING.
It’s literally causing chaos, causing division and also, look at EVERY BlM RIOT
BLM is literally perpetuating racism, violence, crime and victim mentality complex. VERY dangerous……
All going to plan though! Step in line!

Correct. These statements imply a specific bias. They all say "pay attention to these specific issues" at the cost of everything else. Humans have a very narrow focus of attention. Calling out anything with specificity will by definition draw attention away from other issues.

@@gamechannel1271 it will draw your attention away, in the moment, because that's what I want the subject of the conversation to be. It doesn't mean that I want it to be the subject of every conversation in perpetuity.
By that logic, BLM is racist is your one opinion, you are not allowed to have an opinion about anything else, ever.

If you say you stand with something that wants to destroy the other that means you picked a side. Which is fine. Just don’t expect Israelis to like you if you say you stand with hamas and vice versa. If you don’t think blm is the same ask the people that got shot for saying all lives matter. Or god forbid the federal investigation into “it is okay to be white”. And then there’s their quip that “ no lives matter unless blm” meaning everyone’s importance hangs from the importance of blacks. This is a fine point of view for an angry black activist. Without the violent movement of blm the simple statement of blm just requires the response of “well no shit?”.

@@centssored9094I know many Israelis who stand with Palestine. The Israeli defense minister and others has said his goal is to genocide Palestinians.
The "it's ok to be white" investigation was because it was on a flier for the patriot front, a white supremacist group.

It is meant in the context that of course all lives matter, but that's not the focus of the movement. Movements wouldn't work if you would compare all the individual values, there is no consensus on all topic even in the smallest group of people. In BLM there might be liberal and conservative black people together who want to have a change. But using this movement for other points is when it gets absurd. Like greta Thunberg used the Fridays for future movement for a political statement of the Palestine Israel conflict. There are confused people in the BLM movement, but the fundamental idea about it should be only about embracing this topic. Not devoting others to empower yourself over them. This is where it gets absurd because suddenly your own movement is against you, because they arrange a total sets of values that you have to fit in. And people use these movements for their own intentions. Its the same with the attack on Israel, why in the world would your say on this event "free Palestine", of course Palestine matters, but the context is the current attack on Israel. Saying white people matter after a black guy gets killed by the police is still valid, but not important for the case itself. Other wars or conflicts shouldn't get less important, although I know that people can't be aware of all problems at the same time or they don't even recognize some as a problem due to their own set of values. I guess I care of the BLM movement and also for all the lives that vanish in Israel, Palestine, Ukraine and russia, Iran, the rain forest, Sri Lanka, America etc. It's not my direct task to fly to these countries and fix these problems but I acknowledge them. People of course tend to prioritize topics that are closer or more personal than others far away, I think that is quite natural. Though the world would be completely different if it wasn't like this. And why people even care about the origin, skin color or religion. That doesn't get into my mind. I don't care, would be to much energy wasted to nothing anyway.

Yeah but BLM isn’t being used to improve black lives. The people at the top are using it for profit and ignoring black deaths that aren’t caused by white people. The group itself was created to divide people by race.
