i have had a single air fryer for 5 years and it served me well, its only drawback was size. l saw a dual air fryer and next to it an oven air fryer in the shop. after a few reviews on line l bought the oven air fryer, and l am glad l did it can do so much more than the bucket types of air fryers
I recently switched from a single to a duel air fryer. The one thing I have found out is that if you just use one side you get a full effect of an air fryer. However, if you use both baskets for different items, it tends to be double the time because if it's listed as a 1700 w oven, each basket one in use really only shares 850 watts per drawer which takes longer to cook because right now if I put let's say sausage on one side and french fries on the other. It actually takes 22 minutes where if I just cook the french fries by themselves, it would only take approximately 10 minutes
I'm curious about the forever chemicals argument. It does concern me though I believe they don't leach much at all unless damaged or scratched. But I bet it varies in manufacturing and cheaper ones.. . any with good ceramic non teflon surfaces?
I was having this debate. And I realized just have to single airfryers a 8L (holds cakes, chicken) and a 5L. So I will just keep my old airfryer and get an 8L
so does it actually take longer to cook with both baskets? cause you are now running two heating elements and are dividing the total of 1800-2400 watts by 2 (depending on service to the house) Im just asking, don't flame me please. Got my answer from @billstreber5194 just below in comments, thanks Bill.

I'd take the single, I'm online shopping it right now
I have the Cosori Dual Blaze & Cosori Dual Basket...Best of both world but do find myself using the Dual Basket more..

That is strange. Normally each compartment has its own dedicated power. Thanks for your insight.
so it's just better if i bought a single since the dual isn't saving time and electricity
Thanks 🤜
Thank you! Really useful info!!

Philips is an example of a brand with teflon free air fryers
Let me know if you find another brand
@@vocalsvideos458 Teflon is already safe since 2013 though so it doesn't matter if it use teflon.
@@vocalsvideos458which models from Philips are Teflon free? Couldn’t find in the specifications of the air fryers
@@raventhc8847 Teflon will never be safe, if you damage the sealing layer,
If buying a 2 draw air fryer should you get one where both draws are the same size, or one which has different sized drawers.
huh?

I gonna save your time: it's your choice
Single is still better
