    The fern was short and fatter than that I'm sure it was made from 4 lines

    thank you for that. We're lucky enough to have these in our woodland. Are these the only ferns that make it through the winter?

      Thanks Mark! They certainly seem to be the most abundant evergreen ferns, but there are a few others. Intermediate Wood Fern is one that comes to mind.

      We dealt with that today we put it an ice skating blade at the bottom of it and sent it to yessir

      Nope, they grow well in moist soils but are exclusively terrestrial plants
