Yet again! 2 of my top 2 Canadian wrestling interviewers sharing the same space. As always, it's not an interview, but 2 good friends catching up with each other. Gotta love it🥰
This conversation with Renee Paquette showed me just how amazing she is. It was obvious that she was immensely talented, and a extremely beautiful woman, but this showed us, as all of your "interviews" do, just how incredible of a person she is. Plus her smile and laugh is so sweet. She's obviously a incredible Mom. She's also a very dedicated family oriented person. Yet she also has a very strong work ethic as well. She was so relaxed and comfortable, and again like all of your interviews, your ability to make this a conversation, not a scripted interview seriously allows your guests to completely relax and open up about so much. Another 5 star ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ review! Great work!
These podcasts feel like a real conversation which is your strong point. Not like most top interviews where the celeb has the perfect answer just in a blink of an eye. And you read the comment section :D I also like that your talking to everyone. Even the people who are not in the spotlights for a while
What you mentioned in your comment is exactly why I and so many others really like Chris Van Vilet. His "interviews" aren't boring Q & A's. They are relaxed and really normal conversations. He really does a phenomenal job of making these interviews, NOT like interviews. That's also why so many wrestlers really respect and appreciate his work and why so many of them are willing to drop everything and meet him. He is always respectful, he never crosses any lines, or makes his "guests" feel uncomfortable. His reputation as being this type of person really helps as well. I've learned so much about the wrestlers, the wrestling business, and everything that they experience with the business, traveling on the road, the benefits, and even the bad parts of it. His style allows his guests again to be extremely comfortable and willing to open up about things that they'd normally never talk about. He is brilliant and entertaining!
Duuuuuude I want that shirt, Stay McFly lol GOLD!!! I remember watching Renee on the old Score station in Toronto on Aftermath... highly underrated show it was. Great to see her success!
Chris I haven't seen many videos lately. That's on me. You have such a great relationship with those people that you are interviewing. It makes them feel comfortable and willing to be more open and forthcoming about their job, their lives, their interests, and their future. Some of your interviews have been absolutely incredible and extremely informative. You've given us a deeper insight into professional wrestling, the experiences, and the pitfalls. Thank you for sharing these thoughts, these stories, these interviews with us. Your dedication, your enthusiasm, hard work, and your love for wrestling has entertained so many people, and again THANK YOU. Also CONGRATULATIONS on the upcoming birth of your baby girl. You deserve all of the joy and happiness that comes your way!
I was hoping she'd mention living in Cincinnati. I used to live in the same house they live in now. It was actually built in 1880 and I miss that place so much. Happy it's in good hands now at least.
It's always so funny to me how it was the bucks, Cody and Kenny that started AEW but MOX is definitely the #1 AEW guy. Man lives and bleeds for that company. It's insane.
I showed your undertaker podcast to my Uncle and man he was so impressed with You. The way you asked questions and the way you structured the interview everything was great
As I said his style isn't the normal interviewer and interviewee type of scenario. While he does technically interview them, his willingness to keep it very light, helps his guests to relax and be far more forthcoming and more open about their lives, their jobs, and the business in general. Chris is enthusiastic, he loves the wrestlers and the wrestling business. He always shows the wrestlers the utmost respect, and they are also very respectful towards him as well. There are so many incredible "interviews", the Chris Jericho one comes to mind. Also the ones he did with Martha Hart, Owen Hart's widow, also Brian Pillman's son, and the British Bulldog's son were also extremely touching and so respectful. There are hundreds more, easily hundreds more. This "interview" like those I mentioned above, is also one of the best.
Agreed, him and Mcelhenney have created a hell of a culture over there in Wrexham. I'm not a big soccer fan but even I see how Reynolds and Mcelhenney's ownership has changed the culture there completely.
a Mason Ryan interview would be great. He had one of the best physique In WWE. I wonder what he thought of the Batista comparisons. And his diet plan in 2011.
I don't want to clog up the comments, but how haven't you been hired by AEW/RoH as a backstage correspondent? You obviously are incredibly talented, your extremely comfortable on the 🎤🎙microphone🎙🎤, and the 📺TV📺 cameras, it seems like a great idea to put you right into the business which you obviously love and respect. Plus the wrestlers also respect you and your work. #aewhirechrisvanvilet !!
i would have asked what moxleys relationship with regal was like as they are seemingly sooo different .. regal did have his own demons much like moxley, so maybe that brought them together.
What the two of you brought up about the differences, the different ways that each company handles their promos was actually similar to how you conduct your "interviews". It's also why AEW is so popular. Same with your work as well. The entire "scripted" technique has become increasingly boring. Mainly because the writers in the wwe are clueless to what the fans want. Meanwhile AEW has caught ⚡lightning⚡ in a bottle, and have made it exciting, fun, and far more enjoyable to watch. Again same as your channel. My point is your "interviews" aren't scripted like some people who conduct interviews. You make your guests feel comfortable, completely at ease, and that allows them to be more relaxed and willing to share more, and be more open, and willing to share much more personal, job related, and their wrestling experience. That's the same thing why the promos in AEW are far more popular and enjoyable. The wrestlers are able to provide input about WHO THEY ARE. Not being told THIS IS WHO YOU ARE. That factor makes the wrestlers more relaxed and it gives them freedoms that they didn't have before. All of these factors are exactly why AEW has become increasingly popular, and 1000% more enjoyable to watch.
Yet again!

Great seeing you two together again. Two of the best Canada has to offer.
Canada's finest
I love seeing how the wrestling world already know Chris very well and the conversations are very friendly and catch-up like

The big crossover of my two favorite wrestling related interviewers

Same.
I mean. Not that confusing. This IS CVV's channel. Common sense says Chris is interviewing Renee. Lol
Right?!?!
@@jesseamadeus5351 common sense also says he was making an obvious joke, but here you are 🤦♂️
@@jesseamadeus5351 r/whoooosh
That Miz Bryan promo is one of the best in history.
The 2 best interviewers in the game in one video. You gotta love it.
Renee is Gold!!! And your T-Shirt freakin Rocks... What a great episode!!
I remember being introduced to Renee on Right After Wrestling on The Score out of Toronto. Need to watch more of her interviews.

I love how open she is. She’s great ❤ Lovely interview!
Another great interview between you two. Love it. Thanks for sharing the video version.
We just need Sam Robert's in on the convo and you have the top 3 wrestler interviewers. Needs to be a table of 3 episode.
I'd replace Sam Roberts with Ariel Helwani now

Sam fell off

You two are amazing interviewers. Thank you!
Tremendous episode, thanks both of you!
I think Moxley Vs Hangman was great too!
The 2 best interviewers in the game 🔥🔥🔥
Wow, I love this and I have just started listening! ❤❤❤❤
Renee's podcast is one of the best in a sea of podcasts.
I remember growing up & watching her on The Score lol Been fun to watch her growth, wish her the best! 🇨🇦
Always nice seeing you 2 hanging out some of my favourite Canadian’s 🇨🇦😁
The two best interviewers in wrestling for an HOUR? LETS GOOOOOOOOO
Renee always seems like a hoot to have at a social gathering. Idk why but she's just such a great story teller!
Chris van vliet always asks the best questions.
Shoutout to Alexandria. Love NKY. Been here for almost 10 years. Met my wife here and never plan on leaving.
Big fan of you Chris! I've always wondered how you got to where you are today, and how you made connections with the right people?
2 great interviewers, this is gonna be good
I thought Renee was interviewing Chris lol
She’s wonderful. My favourite is their first in the same room one.
Thank you, Renee is an Amazing Human🎉
Love the shirt buddy, as usual great interview and overall content

I love this interview 😊
Lets go Team Canada in the house together once again 💪🍁
When the interviewer gets interviewed
I've been in Vegas since 2001, you will never get used to the summer heat!
Ryan Reynolds is killing it right now with this football club
Agreed, him and Mcelhenney have created a hell of a culture over there in Wrexham. I'm not a big soccer fan but even I see how Reynolds and Mcelhenney's ownership has changed the culture there completely.
Cora Jade, Liv Morgan or Nikita Lyons’s interview would be great.
Renee is a gift to the industry. She just fuckin gets it.
I knew you were Canadian but didn't know Pickering. Damn. I was born and still live in Oshawa. Right down the 401. What school did you go to??
I share Rene's sentiments - you will be just fine as a dad!
Renee: I've done a lot of damage to this body.
CVV: Not nearly as much damage as your husband 😂
I would say your interviews are my favorite. Please try to get Kongo Kong on the show.
a Mason Ryan interview would be great. He had one of the best physique In WWE. I wonder what he thought of the Batista comparisons. And his diet plan in 2011.

27:55 "The Outsiders" 😂😂😂
An AEW version of "Talking Smack!" that ran for half an hour and was posted to TH-cam after Dynamite (and maybe Rampage) would be a cool idea.
I need the info on the music at the beginning
Definitely Max Caster contributed to that change to the sessions 😅
why you stopped putting cut's in the description
38:57 am I the only one that noticed her laugh, sounded very similar to Bart Simpson.
i would have asked what moxleys relationship with regal was like as they are seemingly sooo different .. regal did have his own demons much like moxley, so maybe that brought them together.

No timestamps, Chris??!
Why not just put rush as Canada's best band ever! I'm not big rush fan, but Neil peart did inspire me a little on drums.
