Love your videos. As a retired electronics tech, I have to say I wouldn't spray cleaning products directly on front panels where overspray can get into connectors. Better to spray on a cleaning cloth or lint-free paper towel, then wipe the surface.

Something I noted awhile back is when you have a push pull amp and one tube loses it's proper voltage and or current, the other tube will run away and burn up. And it won't take very long. I guess if we dug into it more, it is because when you lose any one tube in the circuit, suddenly there is more voltage available and the tubes in push pull are already designed to work on more than a single ended tube would be. So, suddenly you get a flood of current and voltage to the one power tube left in the circuit. Makes me wonder if there could be an easy design modification to add in an overvolt - overcurrent protection on each tube while not interfering with the operation. Well, missed my decade. :p
Hi William, There are not stupid questions. 'HT' is short fo 'High Tension'. It's a rather old fashioned name for High Voltage. It's still used in valve guitar amplifiers. E.g. the 'HT Fuse' is the one in the high voltage line.

Yes I think there's truth in that. The tibes 'load' the HT and so if one goes down, there's less load and the HT goes up, stressing the other tube.

Similar but not quite the same. I can;t recall the differences at the moment. V similar though.

These amps are deigned to fail, thats why they are so cheaply made with poor components.
