For once they finally casted a Heather C. who has a real presence on the stage! For some reason they often cast people who seem shy on the stage and I can't fathom why!

Well, from my experience, the director might usually choose someone who will be shy on stage to help them break out of of their shy state. I've seen it happen many times before at my school.

The girls who played the Heathers did a wonderful job. The choreography is beautiful and the singing is wonderful. Its stupid that people make rude remarks about how they sing. Their moving a lot and that can cause singing to be a little off, I know from experience. But I love this musical and you guys did a wonderful job at recreating!

This Heather Mcnamara is like a super inspiration for me, as a person of color it's hard to get cast as people who are usually seen as Caucasian so I usually never audition, but now I just might
Max The Psychic Heather M. - just like actually all the characters in this show - has no race she "must" be. Go out and chase the roles you know you can perform regardless of what color the original actor was! We know that theatre is predisposed to not being super PoC-friendly, but we also know there's people out there just waiting to cast you :) best of luck!
Acting Against Cancer Just like the original Hamilton cast. Like a lot of the main characters were black and G.W and Burr were both bald as well. I was very happy to see that because in school I was rejected from the lead because my skin was "too pale"

oh god there are a few defining songs in the musical that truly proves if they can give justice to the characters (like candy store, dead girl walking, and meant to be yours) and they Nailed it. these heathers are amazing. kudos!
caryl. I'll have to kindly disagree. It was a very good performance, but as far as them being the perfect Heathers, I think Heather C. Was way too nice and Heather M was way too mean in this.

It does come down to personal opinion haha. Imo, there's no "standard" version of Heathers because you can really play them off however you want. But my point is that they were able to give /character/ to the characters. There are other performances that come out bland either in terms of acting, singing, or both. Whether you think their characterization is off or not is up to you, but the performance still had /character/ in both singing and acting. 👍

This is really good. They are very expressive. Some of the choreography wasn't my favorite I have seen, but I like this version. Still prefer the Eagle Theatre version though. My teacher played Martha and she rocks.
Sidenote: These Heathers are PERFECT ♡
some of their vowels are too harsh in this song, at least to me, I would say if you ever want to do this again, i realize it over though, to soften some of the vowels like is candy. Overall amazing job!

Is anyone else obsessed with the way chandler says “you’ve got a bone to pick?” She just embodies the mean girl role without overdoing it nor being too aggressive with her tone but still delivering it strong
I have been searching and searching TH-cam for a good full cover of Candy Store and I finally found it. all others would kinda start OK but then die when H. Chandler had to do her difficult vocalization bit (not sure if it's called vocalization), and this girl NAILED IT. Kudos to all the girls, but especially to the one playing H. Chandler, what a voice!

Yeah I think that when I see kids who are obviously not right for the role. They’re good, but they’re playing leads when they obviously fit other characters better, even if they’re supporting characters, or even other leads, but they always get the biggest parts. So yeah, when I see leads who aren’t great for that role the little “favorite “ bell goes off in my head

I write sins not usernames I wouldn't say they were in character at all. Heather Duke especially. She's supposed to be the more serious bitchy type that gets the dark humor bits not "Im shimmying and trying to make the audience laugh any chance I get". If you've seen the original cast, or even the movie, you'll understand what I mean. This was certainly a different take on the character but not true to the original at all
I loved this version of this show and I loved the actors, especially heather chandler, but she didnt look completely comfortable walking/dancing in her heels. Maybe it was just me, but it looked really good otherwise
