I could see switching one of the X Speeds for a Zapdos, but this seems like a pretty killer deck list! Pikachu EX is best with 7 or 8 total basics in a deck. I’d also use Raichu as your late game, not your early game. Gives you a better chance to get a Magneton on Board, plus some spare energies on your back row if you have the chance to pull Pikachu back after a KO or two before it goes down.
@@kottna Personally I always run Sabrina at 2 copies, to me it’s as necessary as 2 Oaks and 2 pokeballs haha. Only rarely will I ever run 1 Sabrina, and even rarer 1 pokeball but 99% of decks have those 6 cards guaranteed.

I kinda wish Raichu’s attack was a little different, you put all 7 energies you had on Raichu in the last game, and still only did 140 damage. If it only lost 3 energy no matter what, or did 40 damage per energy, and then lost all its energy, that could make for some really cool Magneton/Surge plays.
I agree, its especially frustrating when facing a 140+ hp like mewtwo or dragonite, raichu cant just one shot them after using lt surge. I already messing with raichu greninja deck, but it isnt that really good either. Raichu niche dmg combine with hungry energy and discard energy gimmick is the reason why he isnt top tier.

It’s like a cheaper but more situational gardevoir. 1 stage, only goes on itself, and you need lt. surge. Gardevoir, 2 stage, can put on anyone. Could think of it as lt. surge’s are the 2nd stage pokemon ;) gardevoir waits a turn to evolve, lt. surge waits a turn if you pot of greeded that turn.
Pro tip when using Raichu nuke deck: - Always, ALWAYS use Lt. Surge first before anything else! You dont want to blunder when you could have won the game, but you reflect using professor oak, denying any other trainer card to use. - You can always charge up raichu manually too, so you can have double nuke. After the first raichu atk, use Lt surge to gather all energy available in the bench. -Another thing to remember to is if you are running 2 Lt surge, this pro tip might help you the most. Before putting another energy or using magneton ability to charge some energy, use Lt surge. So that way, you have 2 extra energy on the bench. One from putting, another from magneton generate energy. It can help you clutch!
Try this "Pufferfish" deck out: 2x Greninja 2x Frogadier 2x Froakie 2x Weezing 1x Koffing 2x Bruxish 1x Misty 2x Koga 2x Pokeball 2x Prof's Research It's dual energy (dark and water), so you can be efficient against psychic too. You can take Misty out and put a xspeed or something. The goal is obviously to play around Bruxish passive attack. You can change Greninja for a Poliwrath, I guess, so you can have another bruiser in the deck.
Been enjoying Venusaur-Lilligant recently. Even though i only start with 1 Pokemon each time, it can get some wins. Also got multiple Jigglypuffs now (the one with Sing). Missing Raichu and Magneton even though i have 1 Normal Zapdos and 1 Pikachu/Zapdos EX.

I'd also like some incentives to do Versus play. On YGO Master Duel for example, i can do 3 daily missions per day for gems (But can only do it in Ranked) so would be nice for something similar here in the future.
