We are visiting the UK from Lexington KY USA, and while in Manchester I realized, we were a short train ride from Macclesfield. So I asked my wife if she was up for a short adventure to see if we could find Holly the Cafe Boat and have cake and coffee. The Taxi said he knew right where we needed to go, but after dropping us off we discovered we were three miles down the canal. As we were walking we met this lovely lady who gave us a history of the area, and show us the way to the Cafe boat. I briefly meet Joanna, and we ordered the Raspberry lemon cake and the Double chocolate cake, both were wonderful. As was the cappuccino as well. I would encourage you to visit whenever you are in the area. Thank you Vic and Joanna. Keep doing what you all are doing. All the Best
In a world full of hatred, fear and turmoil , it's an absolute joy to see your family being kind, thoughtful, intelligent. Love and best wishes. Alison x
What kind of ticket inspector wouldn't allow you to occupy those seats as a family if they're not being used?! Meanie! I mean you'd always offer a lady and child a seat, right? Shame on them
Once again you blew it out of the water as a family. I hope you know how much sheer joy you bring with your and William's exploration of the world. All this and baking and boats too! Too much! Great love and best wishes!
Never sell yourselves short. Out of all the other TH-camr's we could see at the luncheon, frankly you're the only ones we'd cross the street to say hello too. The majority of them are either whiny, self-involved, always stressed about something, and then there's the guy who hasn't seen a comb or shaver in a very long time. We've always loved you guys the best, plus William is far more advanced then any other child we've seen, and that is a fact! There we said it, no apologies, and we mean it all. Take care, be well until we see you again ~💞🤗Lacy, Mike & Hamish 🐾🐾 And a few whales for William 🐳🐋🐳🐋
Stop doing yourselves down, you are brilliant. Of course it helps when you have a star like William, a leading lady like Jo and a videographer/editor like Vic. Thanks guys, just keep doing what you do, we all love you.
You guys are far from boring & really love it when I see you’ve uploaded another vlog. Not only are they very well made but the editing & choice of music etc is fantastic. It’s so lovely to see William growing up too! Thank you.☺️
editing on this is like a great bbc show. everything from the title to the themesong at sea world but still its the actors who really elevate it especially one tantalising performance from 1 little starlet
Amazingly productive days Vic. I imagine having to bring the camera everywhere, and play to it, must feel a little like keeping one eye on a toddler! And just in case you didn't hear it loud and clear from everyone else - you are never boring ! Always a joy to watch 😎
You are never boring I follow lots of live aboards on TH-cam you are definitely the top of my list for not being boring William is such an interesting little boy and so clever just like his parents…. So let’s talk boring you set off just the 2 of you then along came 2 boats then along came Little William then along came the cook book you took us on your travels with a baby in tow and still managed to make vlogs of all the interesting places you visited and now you’re on tele phew now that’s interesting viewing 😊
Far from boring..maybe the others aren't truly being themselves. Love watching you all. Thank you. Don't have a telly so can't watch you on the box but I'm sure it will be great.
I actually like your videos. You're one of many channels that i watch. You're very down to earth normal people just showing what you do. You never try to be or show something that your not through your videos. Good honest people !!!
You are simply a lovely couple leading an incredible family life and In todays world that's not easy. William is a 'joy' to watch growing up, and the experiences you introduce him to on a day to day basis will secure his future for sure. Frog spawn to aquarium - brilliant. If ever there was a formula for enjoying life and raising a child you have nailed it. Thanks for sharing.
Always love your videos and so pleased for you all to be back on your boating life style and looking forward to seeing you on “The Great Escape “ I wish I was still living the dream on my boat
Loved this and your gross jobs didn’t freak me out I guess after 4 children nothing freaks me out. Loved seeing your trip to Birmingham and I’m already watching Narrow Escape and I’m looking forward to seeing the episodes that feature you. William is adorable and a credit to you. X

I love your videos even the gross ones! Reminds me when we had our boat and all those tough things to do to keep it running smoothly. Also enjoyed Birmingham again where we explored many of the less used canals in the area. Bye from British Columbia Canada...until next time.
Just a little tip. The toilet fan, that breaks down "frequently", DON'T buy a replacement. Be a JIC, and buy at least 2, and preferably 3. A JIC is a "Just In Case" person. An Optimistic Pessimist, who looks forward to things going wrong, so is never disappointed. Reduces stress by amazing amounts. And, before starting any repairs, always waggle your finger at it, it just might start behaving. Interesting video. Did you spend the whole night at the office? ZZZZZZZZZZ on the floor, or the desk?
I’ve seen the add of your boat. Here in London we have a nice weather. Still rains here almost every other day. But when we finished with winter you guys still had frozen lakes and stuff … Yesterday I believe we had the same storm with thunder and rain the whole night. My wife couldn’t sleep at all where as I woke up twice but went to sleep instantly. If you guys need a canopy is best to make your own. I’ve started mine and looks amazing. I do need to cut some edges and stitch together things. My sink doesn’t have bilge pump and even my shower doesn’t. Water comes out straight away. 😎
Love you three We are watching the TV programme its great. Our narrowboat holiday not till September so getting our fix watching all the vlogs. Keep going you are never boring xxx
The first time I went on a canal boat was in the 80s, on the Grand Union from London to Birmingham area. It rained for two weeks, the towpaths were under a metre of water, you couldn't see the edges. Us kids were stuck in the boat, poor Mum and Dad were wading to do the locks. Eventually we gave up when my sister fell overboard because the ladder was slippy. She was OK. Everything was wet. When we got home we had clothes hanging everywhere and had long hot baths. Don't feel bad when it rains a lot, its different when you're on a boat.
Vic, if we didn't have all of that rain, your boats wouldn't be getting very far 🙂 Could you not knock up a pre sump pump grease trap ? it wont stop it all, but will catch most of it and with regular cleaning will save the pump switch mechanism.

It used to be that the weather was always unpredictable in the UK. Maybe "they" have been "seeding" the clouds too much lately. Have you seen the floods in Dubai?

Back to the boring jobs but you blew it out of the water Vic💦 great vlog Shame they made you move on train, rotters with William too! He is growing up so fast & such an intelligent little boy, he’s a treasure.
Hi Vic Fixing your toilet reminds me of fixing a toilet in the house. Toilets are always messy jobs and that is why plumbers charge what they do. What would life be like without plumbers lol. Take care Vic, Jo and William Mark Alberta, Canada
Been watching you on the tv narrow escapes it’s not easy living and working on a boat but you are doing a great job please keep it up and little William is going to grow up to a well educated boy thank you for all the hard work you put into it. old bill yes i have had boats in the past in Norfolk and York and i no its not easy but the rewards will come.

Thanks for sharing your life living and working on your boats, very inspiring.
Found you from watching the TV series which im addicted too.
I don't know if you can get Dawn dishwashing liquid, but it is what they use to wash ducks and shore birds that have gotten coated with oil from a spill. It might help cut through the grease.
Back to the boring jobs but you blew it out of the water Vic💦 great vlog Shame they made you move on train, rotters with William too!
He is growing up so fast & such an intelligent little boy, he’s a treasure.
Well you can't be that boring after watching the show ive now subscribed was lovely seeing all the you tubers I follow at lunch❤
Hi Vic
Fixing your toilet reminds me of fixing a toilet in the house. Toilets are always messy jobs and that is why plumbers charge what they do. What would life be like without plumbers lol.
Take care Vic, Jo and William
