Great ideas once again! Using what you have on hand! My grandfather used and reused everything you can imagine...he would hammer tin cans flat and use them to make "shingles" for roofs and even make hinges (don't ask me HOW but he did!) Of course he raised a family through the great depression and money was only used as a last resort.
Hi Hannah 👋 😂 she is definitely fast taking over your channel Sang 😂😂 Brooder looks great but as a mum I can understand your wifes concern over the counter weight especially with curious little girls like Hannah. Those piglets are so cute and when that one laid down for a belly rub I melted 😂😂😂
Brooder is awesome, specially the counter weight, ok, it doesn't look great but it serves its purpose.. good thinking 👍 I just adore the piggies,,,, belly rubs ..😂🤣😂🤣 Hi Hannah...🤗😘 🐮🐮🐮
American Breese (breast, ororiginally French Breese) do well and you can keep breeders for future chicks! They are great layers, brooders and their body mass will satisfy 😊. Just something for you to chew on for future self-reliance. By the way, the cornish-cross are genetically engineered, you and your family, are what you eat 😢.
Hannah is adorable. Maybe put something around your counter-weight so no one can be under it. I understand why your wife would not approve. Is it safe?
Thanks!
Wow thank you so much Dawn
Hannah is so adorable

I love the way you build. The counter weight is a great idea.. And free is always better

Hannah’s ready for her ride.😂😂 Brooder looks good. 🐥 Piglets are adorable. 🐷

I like the counter balance method. Haven't seen that used in such a long time. Thanks for explaining the reason for using rocks. Makes perfect sense.
You are so welcome!
Blessings Family - Love the counter weight!
Thank you.

it’s very save and secure but just ugly 😂. I’ll put something there to keep young ones from going under
Belly rubs and tractor ride! The place to be, where all needs are met... 🤗🙃
You got that right! 😂
All ready for your new chickens. The little piggies look happy and healthy. Hannah is ready to be a big farmer this year. 😁
Yes she is. she looks into that everyday and says “no chicken” 😂
Go to a marina and get a wrench it will be a happy wife happy life kinda thing.
She just needs me to change the counter weight to something more eye appealing, not an ugly old propane tank 😂
I like your creative counter-weights. Use whatcha got!
Thank you! That's very encouraging

Thank you Manda.
Great ingenuity and repurposing! What breed of chickens are planning on rearing?
We do Cornish crosses… I know most people are against it but you really can’t beat time and growth for the best bang for the buck.
