Hi Katy! Here are 3 things to consider in regards to your neck
Bad pillow: check if the root cause is your current pillow. Using a proper pillow changes the game. Try the bedgear linea 1.0 pillow ( the 2.0 its a bit too high for my taste) i have neck problems and this has been amazing for my sleep and rest.
    2. Bad posture hygiene: from your vlogs ive seen that you work on your computer sitting on the floor or in funny positions. Trust me from experience, this affects your neck and back so much. I got neck lordosis from bad work posture.
    3. Complex weight movements without the proper form. This might be pulling your neck as well. Check with your trainer to modify as needed
Hope this helps! Having neck pain is the worst and its important to find the root cause if this is recurrent! Get well soon!

I rarely comment, but I felt like writing this today. Your videos are my comfort, they make me feel good. And are the reason why I check YT every day. Been following for quite some time now and with currently being 30, I don't plan to stop. Greetings from Serbia 🌷 PS: Can't wait to see what you're woring on in terms of the new podcast - I was a huuuge fan of Thick & Thin.

Just a note on therapy - if you can, I will always recommend in person, face to face sessions. It is irreplaceable because it forces you to be present and say things out loud to another person who can read your face and body language and go from there. It's a tactile, real experience that you cannot replicate with a phone or chat box. I have never made more progress than when I did in person appointments. Of course, online is better than nothing, but again, if you are able to, even for just a couple appointments, go in person. In a way, I feel like the cost might even out because I was able to go to fewer sessions overall than if I did the online chat or video option.

Observing your progress over the past two years, there appears to be a subtle shift in your energy compared to last year. During the previous Christmas, you were in a different apartment, hosting a gathering with friends. It's just my perception, but this year, you seem a bit more reserved. Don't let external pressures from apps or social media affect you. Remember, you radiate beauty regardless. ❤️

and also the complex movements. you don’t need to lift heavy weights in complex ways to build muscle! I wish more people realized that. I used to get hurt all the time thinking I had to do those “get ups” and other moves. progressive overload with simple movements has helped me get the best results. hope you feel free enough to voice things to your trainer Katy ❤

@@BalancedLightYogasimple lifts with progressive over load is honestly the best way to go. But I feel like it’s not “trendy” and allows clients to progress without a personal trainer so I feel like a lot of trainers do lots of random complex exercises for “job security” lol

The red dress is stunning and so figure flattering, that’s a great silhouette on you!!
The last dress you can go down a size and still fit a top underneath. Please don’t worry about current trends/fashion styles and trying to make them work, I can say as a former model, we couldn’t make certain fashion trends work either!! Always remember fashion is just
    another business they have to
keep reinventing it !! Please stay true to what you like and feel confident in!! Truly I watch you and love your fashion sense b/c it is more romantic & timeless! Keep up the great work & stay true to yourself and 20 years from now you’ll be able to say I still love these dresses/ accessories and would do it all again !

hey Katy💛 Greetings from Sydney, Australia! ! Love your vlogs , so thank you ;)… & hey - I’ve strained my neck a few times too & was a culmination of daily weight training & work related posture issues as well … I have some go to fixes that really work …So , if you don’t already , I would get your hands on a heat bead bag (the ones you put in the microwave ) & be sure to buy one that’s long enough to drape around your neck comfortably when you’re sitting … this is a game changer as the heat pack really loosens the neck up & provides soooo much relief ! 🥹Also , applying a topical magnesium cream or oil after the shower may help & also consider taking a magnesium glycinate supplement before bed time as this will help so much with muscle recovery from training in general & has many health benefits …. oh & there are also magnesium hotchoc drinks on the market that might be super nice on the days you train too :)

Giiirrrl im about to change your life with the neck pain. Find a physical therapist that does dry needling. It’s truly truly life changing. I cannot recommend it enough!
For reference I have chronic neck pain from being a medical student and studying for hours on end but I also have a spine injury. Dry needling helps both SO much!

out of sheer curiosity, do you find it difficult to establish a rapport and relationship with your therapist if you're only messaging? I feel like so much of what makes therapy meaningful to me is the relationship that I have with my therapist (which was cultivated over the phone for the first two years, another barrier to connection) and I imagine it would significantly change the experience to only exchange written words. would be very interested to hear about your experience!

I love the gingham dress with the bows down the front but I think you might need to size down on it. I know the sleeves are supposed to be big, but it looks like it is too big on your mid section too.
I agree with not conforming to all these trends! It’s also wasteful.

i dont think people pointing out how ridiculous it is for a woman in their late 20s to not know how to use a can opener is the same thing as them being "haters". there's nothing endearing or quirky about that, which was the point a lot of those comments were trying to get across. it's such a lazy take to equate any feedback you don't like to those people just being haters. there is, however, nothing wrong with crockpot meals though, the simplicity is *chef's kiss*.
