I was talking to a buddy about how we used to spend all day playing this so I looked it up to see what progress had been made in the game and if it was worth picking back up. Very disappointed to see it never went anywhere. Any suggestions for different mobile online games to pick up?
Watched one minute, i agreed 100 percent. They didnt put any effort even before skylore. New players dont understand how compelling this game was when they actually cared few years before. Game has gone to shit. If we check how much players are playing game, 1 k players maximum on eu elf and mc together. They didnt even finish the game story, for couple years, actually sad. I dont understand how they dont feel embarrassed to actually ask for players to test their new shitty game. They dont put any effort, i know many players dont care about lore, honestly this game had one of the best lore i ever read from start to some mid game (cant say late game, cause they didnt even finish it), after irslenorth it went to shit. Yeah guild wars, castles all entertaining. But you cant make one good update and then dont care for 6 months. Events last about month, ask any player, they get boring after 2 weeks, most players dont even spam dgs until 2x drop week, play event for one month, you are going to feel like playing for half a year, it is sad cause most of players remember good old days and play or at least log in once in a while with hope that developers actually woke up. From earliest of your videos you were making a point that is really valid, this game is made to rip you off or make you a slave for couple years to make it somewhere. I think that biggest problem as many games have it is lack of communication with players, but ive never seen it to this degree at least give more juridiction to some players, talking about EU-Emerald there are some players that understand perspective of players from both sides (Forsaken and Sentinels, MC or Elves whatever you wanna call it), so they could actually give some good advice on how to make an update that all players would agree on cause i think game needs fundamental update and not an event update. I dont remember when was last time a developer or mod joined game on servers that are not Russian, now as for Russian players, this game is based around them, there are some quite good channels that have some reputation but dont use it at all, like make some sort of criticism video. Thats why im pissed off, community isnt impactful enough. I cant wait for last update notes and their seeing of what happend, could bet gazillion miracle coins it is going to be some delusional uninterested notes that was made for like 5 minutes. Also i disagree that servers will be stopped when Skylore comes out. C'mon they are god damn leeches, if it is profit why would they stop it? And i get it, it is alright, we can still be friends :))
I loved this game so much. Loved the rpg style, loved the 2d textures, loved the uniqueness of the game. I dropped it when the p2w reached its peak. Bored to see 3k crits and 1 shots, bored the repetitiveness of events as u said, bored of the unbalance between classes. Started as a fcking masterpiece which could counter pc games (my opinion) and ended shit. Forgot bots as well, the new trend.

I used to play Warspear 5+ years ago, decided to check it out again recently. The game felt pretty dead (at least the starting islands did), only saw 3 players. All the new content I saw was mostly pay to win or loot boxes which was really disappointing.
I got in this game around 2011, played Elf and supposedly the worst class bladedancer for two weeks straight and kind of liked the Elf island before the game's free trial ran out. I came back two times to try again, incl once in 2015. By the time you get to second island you realize the scale of pay to win in this game and its just becoming more obvious over the years. I lost interest after my toon reached level 18 with the repair costs I had to put up with real life sms top ups with google store not being available in the earlier days.
I just recently started playing the game again after about 3 years. My sister, dad and I used to play this game all the time. Majority of my friend's list is gone and the "organization" of the events for the game has completely killed the community interaction. We used to organize our own MC v Elf wars...now its an actual event
Former WS vet here, from 2010 to 2014, Sapphire server. My story summed up: I was one of the strongest barbs on the server (and later I was one of the strongest death knights). But I quit shortly after Ayvondil came because I was tired of the same old tedious things: outrageous class imbalances (with one update, your character can go from a stud to a scrub literally overnight), *very very slow* leveling system, the dailies and farms were boring, and even slaughtering elves had a stale taste after a while. Not to mention the literal thousands I poured into my main characters because this game was pay-to-win for a long time, and my buddies were understandably leaving left and right. 6 years of real life progress later... Glad to know I haven't missed much at all. Not surprised this game is going to shit, and considering my experiences as well as others, it's probably for the best.
Hello im a new player to Warspear! And the game is still alive in 2021. I'm in a guild and they help me out quite alot. The only problem is sometimes i get stuck on elite quests where you need other players. I'm only level 16 so I'm still very new. Come on US-Sapphire and have fun with us!
I doubt your guild is gonna help you for long, once you reach higher lvl you better have 7+ gear or else nobody wants to accept you in dungeons. Those players only care to do 1-2 stamina runs and if your character is weak best believe nobody is gonna reply to your dms. And to get 7+ gear or higher either you literally spend years “farming “( if farming even still exists in the game knowing how much of an asshole the devs can be) or you spend actual money to buy signs and spheres to upgrade your gear. This game has an evil cycle to force you to spend money if you want to have fun in the game.

May I add something I do play war spear I downloaded it yesterday and I am on level 7 because it was for an Uc (unknown cash for pubg mobile) and This game is already a pay to win and I grinded alot to get experience for levels and in the shop everything is was to expensive and I only have 1,400 coins which is impossible to even buy one thing from the shop due to the low coins quests and Killing mobs give you

I played this game for more than 4yrs, way back 2015 (something) on EU-Emerald where we're the strongest guild in terms of tourny, the guild name was "AoA" and its fun because its all balance, themax level was 20 and there's war everywhere ( there's no war event that time ), and always ganking on pvp cave lol, i miss those old times when the devs isn't that greedy, every event they're giving free surprise chest and more! and then the time where they introduce the lvl18 extra skill that u can buy on shop made the game broke, that was the time where my friends/guild quitted 1 by 1 and it made the game more boring bcz of that, I wish they have a plan to fix this game cz everytime i tried to go back playing still dont feel the way i felt when i play it first time.

I think aigrind should be most gentle to donate, but his greed - it’s big problems. Now situation can improve with new upd (12.0), but it’s create new problem. Afraid this game all nearest to down. I remember back some few years ago, hundreds of MC and elfs banded together to do the six shadows. It was absolute chaos! Skirmishes everywhere! Dead bodies all over the place! The entire journey there was perilous with me being MC, a blockade of elfs looking to kill you...that was one of the biggest raids in any game I've been in and was all done on a shitty touchscreen Samsung. That for me is one of the reasons why I love this game! Very deep down I do, but it's a definite far-cry from what it used to be. Dead game

the peaks of warspear were pelion n back in 2014 however since the sea update in 2020 game pretty much died out due to the poor content but this past year to now warspear has revived slightly but not much due to 3 things : a battle pass free/pay.... better n consistent login rewards.... and basic talents upgrades for each class ......id say its kinda of a start for a revive but not much warspear needs to really kick up its game if it wants to revive but still kinda got no hope for it

every time i played the game i end up quitting because there are not enough english speaking players around to handle the boss quests/dungeons, cant group up. Too many fucking elves just like every mmo, imbalanced factions. Looks like skylore has more races, hoping for dwarves but i doubt it, probably another fucking elf fest.

I talked to many pros that spend $1000s just to max their gear. They need the add a glow effect from amping. Not just simple white glow from weapons.

I was played since 2011-August-2011, this game was exited but after map4 come, it's getting worst. currently i only focus on doing craft as a name NAKOX at US SAPPHIRE - ELF.
im watching this after 5 years and somehow the game still alive. i agree we need more gear variation. anyway every event akways have new map. the problem is we end up spam dungeon and less quest

This is big true. To be honest who from players playing ws care about lore? And when i started play its boring lvl up. And when they release lvl 30 uptade how long it will be popular? 1 week until 50% end game players complete it? And again same thinks like dungeons ? Daily quests? I agree with u why u stop play ws and idk that want to stop servers.
I just play for 4 hours and still level 3 for finish quest, very annoying and great game to wasting time and get nothing

the peaks of warspear were pelion n back in 2014 however since the sea update in 2020 game pretty much died out due to the poor content but this past year to now warspear has revived slightly but not much due to 3 things : a battle pass free/pay.... better n consistent login rewards.... and basic talents upgrades for each class ......id say its kinda of a start for a revive but not much warspear needs to really kick up its game if it wants to revive but still kinda got no hope for it

every time i played the game i end up quitting because there are not enough english speaking players around to handle the boss quests/dungeons, cant group up. Too many fucking elves just like every mmo, imbalanced factions. Looks like skylore has more races, hoping for dwarves but i doubt it, probably another fucking elf fest.
