The level of "ball washing" in this video is probably unparalleled. Who would have guessed that your friend would make the greatest putter of all time with his first attempt! If only Discraft had the science Trash panda does.
I watched Trash Pandas videos and instantly loved what he was doing, but also was sad because I thought to myself, man here is someone who is working so hard, and it will probably never catch on. Well… I’m overjoyed to see this was not the case. Thanks Robbie!!!
Yeah man, so glad someone is making recycled discs. I am so tired of going to the land fill and seeing thousands of used discs piled up. Yes, that is sarcasm. Freakin' sheep.
knew once you said "32.333 repeating of course" were that was going. And you did not disappoint. Glad to know the Inner Core Passes A Battle Cry Run-up
Can not wait to score 1 or 2 (cuz you know I got to dye one) of the INNER CORE discs on the 7th. Jeese at Trash Panda is the man and even more so for letting our guy Robbie C. get this more inside exclusive look at this amazing disc before release day. 11/7/2022. Inner Core will always have a spot in my bag.
I love the Leroy Jenkins reference. That was priceless! I also cannot wait to buy this disc. I just really hope that I can get it before my first tournament on the 19th. I commented on Jesse's video as well the same thing like I totally wanted this for my first tournament. It's not like it's going to magically change my game. It's just the principle of I wanted to be able to say I threw it in my first tournament
Been a big fan of the content that both of you are putting on the interwebs. Just purchased an inner core this morning. Can’t wait to throw it/putt with it. Best to both of you.
Fantastic video as always! Love the way this flies as I am one to gravitate towards straight flying putters. Can't wait to get my hands on one! Thank you Jesse for the production of the disc. Thank you Robbie for the production of this video. Peace!
You just brought to my attention something I never though about, I live 3k ft above Jessie and never thought about how far above sea level I was, and how it effected the flight of the discs.
I was already hype you don’t need to make me more excited… but you did. I really hope I can get two from the first run before they inevitably sell out.
Loved this video format! Absolutely cannot wait for the Inner Core! Also there was no way anyone else was winning the distance comp..pretty sure Mikey uses a performance enhancer 🤷♂️ … the performance enhancer is Josh
I'll definitely be picking one up. Going to be an uphill challenge to replace my Pure's but I'll gladly support this mission whether it makes the bag or not. Absolutely amazing work by Jesse!
Yet another awesome video by Mr. TH-cam Man, Robbie C. I am a diehard Trilogy guy but will definitely be getting some Inner Cores from Jesse at Trash Panda. Love that I will be able to dye them too!
Great review Robbie. And great job Trash Panda. Looking forward to making this my first disc to dye(because it’s gotta have a cool Trash Panda on it, and I won’t ever get rid of it anyway).Come on Nov 7th…
As far as I’m concerned there are for outstanding people in my book and that’s trash panda, Robbie C, OT, and miss frisbee. I say this because there the only people that reply to my comments every time without fail. That is y there the only people I still subscribe too. ❤
Looks like it flies very similar to one of my favourite discs, the RPM Tui, and on the PDGA specs it looks pretty similar too. Would love to get my hands on one in NZ!
It seem to fly much like a frisbee when I played with it. I would assume your nova comparison is very accurate. If you make a mistake, you will know out of the hand.
There are multiple answers to 5:10 question... The most obvious one is that companies are not making recyclable discs because a) it increases the price slightly and b) nobody has been asking them to do so. A couple months back, I asked Discmania very politely and using their communication channels whether they make recyclable discs and if not, do their discs contain bisphenols and/or phtalates. They did not reply. They don't care about it and they don't risk any customers doing so. And we're talking about Finland, which is much more progressive, rational and environmentally conscious than the conservative USA, that forms the bulk of DG community there. Is there at least one Jomez, GKPro, or, say, Gatekeeper video where commentators would be discussing the issue of plastic pollution and environmental impact of their sport? Is there a Lizotte, Ulibari, Aderhold, Smith, Wysocki, etc. video where they would be about these things? Has anybody of them at least told people that maybe, just maybe they should not be buying innumerable discs they don't need? Fact is, this entire community is in complete denial of the pollution, unsustainable development, and anthropological climate change issues. That's just a fact. Maybe somebody would like to raise these issues, but they afraid to be laughed at (therefore, I salute you). In DG, one can joke about weed and thank imaginary friend in the sky for personal successes all day long, but, heaven forbid, don't even mention plastic pollution or climate change. Speaking of the prospect, I'm pessimistic. There is not enough willingness in the DG community to reduce its footprint. You and Trash Panda are complete outliers (and, once again, I salute you). Such people will help, the movement will grow, but it' won't be enough. It is much more likely that governments (first in EU, I guess) will make marking discs for recycling compulsory. But that'll take time as vast majority of people in EU have zero clue what DG is. Until then, people will keep on fooling themselves with nonsense about how heavenly perfect DG is, while filling their garages, landfills and nearby streams with non recyclable plastic garbage.
Big question for me right now (it was 20 degrees yesterday morning) how will this perform in cold weather? Our post Christmas tournament is typically in about 6" of snow.
TH-cam needs to make a function where it is possible to like a video multiple times :-D allready liked the video BEFORE the V for Vendetta reference !!!! WTF !!!! kudos my man !!!
I like this video but I sure wish I could see the flight path of the disc. On my screen it tends to disappear the moment it's in the air. Maybe you could employ an acetrace or similar program into your videos? This occurs often and when they do an acetrace it helps a lot. Thanks
It still putted pretty well for me! I was actually telling Jesse I felt like I had a sneaky good putting day filming this video! It’s definitely a little less grippy for a putting putter though being premium plastic. Not the end of the world, but a preference difference for sure!
@@RobbieCDiscgolf thanks man. Appreciate it and all your great content. Getting back I to disc golf after a 20 year hiatus, and your vids are super helpful.
It's interesting to see how it seems to have enough oompf to fade yet it's marked as 0 fade when based on the flights and your description it would be more of a 2/3/-.5/.5.
I am a pretty constant hyzer release guy, so when placed on hyzer it definitely has finish, but the few times I really tried to hit it flat it just went crazy straight! I can see the zero, as it’s extremely angle confident.
Sadly - and I would read this article in The Atlantic "Plastic Recycling Doesn’t Work and Will Never Work" Plastic recycling does not work and will never work. The United States in 2021 had a dismal recycling rate of about 5 percent for post-consumer plastic waste, down from a high of 9.5 percent in 2014, when the U.S. exported millions of tons of plastic waste to China and counted it as recycled-even though much of it wasn’t. Recycling in general can be an effective way to reclaim natural material resources. The U.S.’s high recycling rate of paper, 68 percent, proves this point. The problem with recycling plastic lies not with the concept or process but with the material itself.
True, but... The problem really lies with the companies that make plastic products. Most don't use recyclable plastics. (Hence the truth behind your last statement.) If more did, we could definitely make a difference.
When you only look at opportunity cost thru the lens of money, it is easy to see that using the most available, cheapest to produce plastic would be used. When you consider overall environmental effects then it changes it.
True, but imagine if a large portion of disc golf discs were recycle-able, the logical next step in the mission would be for Trash Panda to start a recycle program where he collects the discs to then make new discs. The disc golf community and industry could become self-sustainable.
@@jasonrleeVideo not to mention that by making discs from recycled materials increases the demand for recycled plastics which may incentivize the conversion of more trash into usable goods.
Too kind brotha! 🖤
