One cool thing you should look into is the dwarf tomato project. It's an open source project creating open pollinated (stabilized) dwarf tomatoes. They are full size fruits with tons of variety. Ordered from MIGardener for the first time this year and it was great!
He does have one variety dwarf. I do agree I would love to see more in the catalog in 24. I ended up ordering from Victory seed because I was looking like you dwarfs. I do enjoy Luke's seeds and products purchase a ton and they are fantastic. The trifecta is awesome and so glad offering fish free fertilizer that's organic.
I was watching your videos for a while before I watched an old video that mentioned your seeds and that they sold for $1 per pack which caught my ear because of how cheap that was (at that time). As much as seeds cost that was definitely worth checking out. I was amazed when I went to your site and saw terrific write ups and how many seeds were being offered in each pack. Up until that time I had been ordering from a company that had a beautiful catalogue and did offer some really fun and exotic sounding selection but at more than twice the price and I found their germination was not so great. There were times when I would order 2 packs from them as I hoped to get one or two plants. Yes, you have gone up since that first order but so has everyone else and you are still the best value around, your seeds have fantastic germination and your selection has grown. You have easily surpassed all other seed companies as my favorite and hope to have a very long relationship with you guys. Hope you have a wonderful new year.

You are amazing! I appreciate how you charge the same price for every type of seed! You have fabulous deals for tomatoes and peppers! You have similar or exactly the same exotic varieties as others and charge half as much. I think that you might have the best variety of heirlooms for the best price. You even have the best sales! I do love Baker Creek but I try MI first.

I am big on searching for best prices but best quality plays a part in getting the best value. 99% of the time your seeds have been cheaper for me. As a home gardener even if I found a seed packet somewhere with twice the amount for $1 less I might not use all the seeds or they might not germinate from from another seller. And if I'm saving seeds I only need so many seeds anyway. I think you provide plenty seeds per pack and often times more than other places. I'm so grateful I stumbled across your channel a year ago. I did only have a small tomato garden last year. This year with the insane grocery bills that my family of 7 is experiencing, I decided to ramp up production about 20 fold. I just started watching videos and ordered seeds from a big fish on a whim. I am greatly regretting that decision because firstly, my order is taking forever to arrive, I paid WAY too much and I really wished I would have found MIGardener before I placed my seed order. As a result, I ordered things from you that I forgot or were not in stock at the other supplier. I am getting like-minded friends on social media to ramp up existing gardens this year and some are going to garden for the first time. I am so excited in fact that I have offered to gift my extra seedling plants to friends who would customarily purchase plants from big box stores. I mentioned this on another video but it bears repeating. I bought a good deal of seeds from MIGardener this past year for my fall garden and EVERY SEED I planted from them germinated and grew to be very healthy plants (sadly we had a bad freeze here in Florida and that ended things for MOST of my plants) Specifically, let me bring up the tomato plants. ALL of them looked so good I didn't have the heart to toss any seedlings and ended up with over 30 tomato plants of some really cool varieties.I had some in ground, in growbags, and eventually in whatever pot I could find.🤣. Not to mention I still have plenty to plant in spring/summer garden. I said all that to say this. It's obvious that Luke gives enough seed for SEVERAL gardens in one packet of seed. The other company I do order from is Baker Creek. Why? I knew about them before Luke and I do love the variety of weird, wacky and just plants I've never heard of. Also, I had to narrow down my seed shopping to no more than 2 companies because I'd spend ALL the MONEY. I know BC is more expensive yes, but what I try to do when I can is buy whatever variety I can get from Luke that I need/want and then if he doesn't have it (Usually due to sold out, a great problem to have)😜 go to BC for the rest.

I’m not going to be tacky and say the names however, I have bought seeds from a couple of seed companies where I pay anywhere from $4.50 - $10.00 for 5-10 seeds of a particular plant that isn’t exactly rare or hard to find or anything. I wasn’t aware that they so scantily counted out seed and when giving their website a second look i did see where they stated how many seeds would come in the packet but it wasn’t at the top or in an obvious, front and center, location with all the other info. I love the MIgardener seed shop! Great quality and quantity and variety! Not to mention the trifecta is awesome and I try to keep that in my stash at all times!

I buy seed from many companies. Baker Creek has the best photography for packets, Johnny's seeds gives the most information, (although you have a lot too) Hoss seeds give huge packets and MI Gardener gives the best prices. Each company has value in my book. I'm glad I can get just a small amount of seeds from you because I have a small garden. I hate to let my excess seed get old or have lower germ counts. Love your company and have been watching you since you were a kid. You are part of my gardening family.
MIgardener is one of only three seed companies that I support. I appreciate that you guys are a small business that supports other small businesses and farmers committed to being good stewards of the land. I am also lucky to have a seed farm and company that are practically neighbors. They’re wonderful people doing wonderful thing for the local community. The third is a regional seed company and farm. All three small, family owned businesses. I avoid larger seed companies, I don’t trust them.

Love this video, and all your videos! I have learned more from your videos than others I follow! I have been gardening over 50 years, I always bought Burpee seeds. I love their product, but now, I buy most of my seeds from Migardener. A few from Baker Creek. Last year I bought seeds from all 3 of you, your Migardener seeds germinated quickly and EVERY SEED GERMINATED and grew! This was not true of the other two companies (all seeds i tested were same variety) Your plants also did best in growth and performance...all that said - keep on doing what you do and I will keep buying your product!

I have made three seed purchases from you over several years, and I am very sorry to say that the majority of your seeds have given me a problem, be it poor germination rates, weak plants, and/or have not grown true to type (especially tomatoes). I do not have these problems with seeds from Johnny's, Totally Tomatoes, Baker Creek, seeds I have saved, or even my local farm store. Looking at the comments here, I can see that I am definitely in the minority. I don't know what it is, as many seem to love your seeds. I pay a bit more elsewhere and get great germination generally. I am left scratching my head.

Got all my see from you this year. The price per seed is always better than other places. I did this same comparison this year on my own and your value beats others hands down. I got my seed from seed savers last year and germination was a struggle on everything but the tomatoes.

This year I grew tomato seeds I bought from you in 2016 and still had great germination. I shop your seed store for the same reason I shop at Aldi, great quality and value but with limited selection, get the bulk of my main necessities and then shop elsewhere for the more specialty items.

That’s so crazy, I never would have said you don’t get many seeds from MiGardner - quite the opposite! I always try to buy seeds like lettuces and cabbages from you guys because I know I won’t have to worry about buying lettuce seeds again for years! As another commenter said, if I’m looking for something really specific I will shop at other places, but I feel like a lot of my garden staples are from MiGardner. Plus, I think MiGardner is so great for new gardeners because it’s often those more common varieties that became popular for a reason, PLUS you get so many seeds that a new gardener can kill half of them and still have plenty to play with ❤

I have bought tons of seeds from tons of locations... MI Gardener has the absolute best seed packets, for info and look, and best overall selection. Some have strange, glossy paper packets, but less information actually needed when growing... From larger, more famous seed companies. They should be ashamed how much better MI Gardener is, At Less then Half of the Price. Rare Seeds/Baker Creek sent me a few that were labeled with a address sticker on a generic packet. Most don't have days to maturity or basic growing info...
Just placed an order for four seeds. I ordered white clover to plant in the chicken run for foraging. I ordered parsnips. Haven't been able to find them. I'm wanting to add shelling beans to the garden this year, so Cherokee Trail black beans caught my eye. The order was topped off with red onions. Looking forward to seeing how they do in Central Oregon.
Wow I am new at this, I ordered some flower seeds this week end and didnt know free shipping .Boy I messed up got few flower seeds I wanted try and ended up paying shipping. I didnt see thst on check out would got few more to get free shipping. So this is helpful for others to know, thanks for sharing.

We are not necessarily the ones doing you a favor at this point. You are doing us a huge service and favor by giving us amazing seeds and varieties. Better germination and better prices than BC. I love BC but I’m paying for the beautiful catalog and I understand what you all are doing by passing the savings on to us consumers.

I mentioned this on another video but it bears repeating. I bought a good deal of seeds from MIGardener this past year for my fall garden and EVERY SEED I planted from them germinated and grew to be very healthy plants (sadly we had a bad freeze here in Florida and that ended things for MOST of my plants) Specifically, let me bring up the tomato plants. ALL of them looked so good I didn't have the heart to toss any seedlings and ended up with over 30 tomato plants of some really cool varieties.I had some in ground, in growbags, and eventually in whatever pot I could find.🤣. Not to mention I still have plenty to plant in spring/summer garden. I said all that to say this. It's obvious that Luke gives enough seed for SEVERAL gardens in one packet of seed. The other company I do order from is Baker Creek. Why? I knew about them before Luke and I do love the variety of weird, wacky and just plants I've never heard of. Also, I had to narrow down my seed shopping to no more than 2 companies because I'd spend ALL the MONEY. I know BC is more expensive yes, but what I try to do when I can is buy whatever variety I can get from Luke that I need/want and then if he doesn't have it (Usually due to sold out, a great problem to have)😜 go to BC for the rest.
I discovered your seeds from Jessica of Roots and Refuge. I always purchased my seed from bakers creek and I ordered for the time from your company. I learned of you and your company by word of mouth. I love the fact that your seeds are cost effective and sometimes small quantities. Especially if it’s something I’ve never grown before. I may not like it so not having tons of seeds is optimal. I always come here first and if you don’t have it I go to true leaf. Between you both I always get what I want. I’m not going to be tacky and say the names however, I have bought seeds from a couple of seed companies where I pay anywhere from $4.50 - $10.00 for 5-10 seeds of a particular plant that isn’t exactly rare or hard to find or anything. I wasn’t aware that they so scantily counted out seed and when giving their website a second look i did see where they stated how many seeds would come in the packet but it wasn’t at the top or in an obvious, front and center, location with all the other info. I love the MIgardener seed shop! Great quality and quantity and variety! Not to mention the trifecta is awesome and I try to keep that in my stash at all times!

I buy seed from many companies. Baker Creek has the best photography for packets, Johnny's seeds gives the most information, (although you have a lot too) Hoss seeds give huge packets and MI Gardener gives the best prices. Each company has value in my book. I'm glad I can get just a small amount of seeds from you because I have a small garden. I hate to let my excess seed get old or have lower germ counts. Love your company and have been watching you since you were a kid. You are part of my gardening family.

MIgardener is one of only three seed companies that I support. I appreciate that you guys are a small business that supports other small businesses and farmers committed to being good stewards of the land. I am also lucky to have a seed farm and company that are practically neighbors. They’re wonderful people doing wonderful thing for the local community. The third is a regional seed company and farm. All three small, family owned businesses. I avoid larger seed companies, I don’t trust them.
I didn't realize your prices are so good when it comes to seed count. I love your videos and your mission to help more people grow their own food. This will be my second season. So my seeds last year came from the big box stores. But I ordered your garden planner and some seed packs from you for the upcoming season. Great value for price and seed count. Love this video, and all your videos! I have learned more from your videos than others I follow! I have been gardening over 50 years, I always bought Burpee seeds. I love their product, but now, I buy most of my seeds from Migardener. A few from Baker Creek. Last year I bought seeds from all 3 of you, your Migardener seeds germinated quickly and EVERY SEED GERMINATED and grew! This was not true of the other two companies (all seeds i tested were same variety) Your plants also did best in growth and performance...all that said - keep on doing what you do and I will keep buying your product!

I wish I could be as enthusiastic about your seed store, however. I have made three seed purchases from you over several years, and I am very sorry to say that the majority of your seeds have given me a problem, be it poor germination rates, weak plants, and/or have not grown true to type (especially tomatoes). I do not have these problems with seeds from Johnny's, Totally Tomatoes, Baker Creek, seeds I have saved, or even my local farm store. Looking at the comments here, I can see that I am definitely in the minority. I don't know what it is, as many seem to love your seeds. I pay a bit more elsewhere and get great germination generally. I am left scratching my head.

Got all my see from you this year. The price per seed is always better than other places. I did this same comparison this year on my own and your value beats others hands down. I got my seed from seed savers last year and germination was a struggle on everything but the tomatoes.

This year I grew tomato seeds I bought from you in 2016 and still had great germination. I shop your seed store for the same reason I shop at Aldi, great quality and value but with limited selection, get the bulk of my main necessities and then shop elsewhere for the more specialty items.

That’s so crazy, I never would have said you don’t get many seeds from MiGardner - quite the opposite! I always try to buy seeds like lettuces and cabbages from you guys because I know I won’t have to worry about buying lettuce seeds again for years! As another commenter said, if I’m looking for something really specific I will shop at other places, but I feel like a lot of my garden staples are from MiGardner. Plus, I think MiGardner is so great for new gardeners because it’s often those more common varieties that became popular for a reason, PLUS you get so many seeds that a new gardener can kill half of them and still have plenty to play with ❤

I have bought tons of seeds from tons of locations... MI Gardener has the absolute best seed packets, for info and look, and best overall selection. Some have strange, glossy paper packets, but less information actually needed when growing... From larger, more famous seed companies. They should be ashamed how much better MI Gardener is, At Less then Half of the Price. Rare Seeds/Baker Creek sent me a few that were labeled with a address sticker on a generic packet. Most don't have days to maturity or basic growing info...
Just placed an order for four seeds. I ordered white clover to plant in the chicken run for foraging. I ordered parsnips. Haven't been able to find them. I'm wanting to add shelling beans to the garden this year, so Cherokee Trail black beans caught my eye. The order was topped off with red onions. Looking forward to seeing how they do in Central Oregon.

Wow I am new at this, I ordered some flower seeds this week end and didnt know free shipping .Boy I messed up got few flower seeds I wanted try and ended up paying shipping. I didnt see thst on check out would got few more to get free shipping. So this is helpful for others to know, thanks for sharing.
