It's winter grass, but higher in protein this year. We had the same trouble with calves after weaning. I had to feed the bull calves dry hay for a week to get them fit for shipping.
PCC has as many reds as black, mostly Red Angus and Angus, with a few Hereford and some heat tolerant hybrids. In my personal herd where I get most of my pictures is all black. Great idea for a video. Thanks
@@PharoCattleCompany looking forward to video(s) on the breeds. Recently i saw a historical video on Red Poll in England in the 1950's and another with Teddy Gentry on South Poll's creation in late 1980's and why each of the 4 breeds were used and how he culled pretty aggressively to do it: Herford, Red Angus, Senapol, Barzona.
Wow
What does a bull run on average? Or whats the range usually?
The bulls averaged around $6500 this fall.
The dirty rear on those bulls ,are you grazing them on winter green grass ,wheat oats or alfalfa hay.hard to get a dirty butt on dry grass.

Could you please do a video on the breeds you have available over a year's time? They all look like black angus, but is that accurate?
