Varga put everything into this. Lerdsila is one of the greatest champions in history, but Varga spent so much time working on everything. These rounds are beautiful. Varga forced the action and focused on two things thing; defending the kick and forward attacking. An absolutely brilliant fight!
That's called a feint. Also, I don't understand what you mean by 'talented'? To not react to an upcoming kick shows lack of experience in the ring. To depend solely on your conditioned bones and ditch technique will leave you with a broken body and many losses when faced with an opponent that's as strong as you.

varga won this 2-1 but all rounds were pretty close, if you watch this just by listening to these clown commentators you would think lerdsila got murdered or something. the constant hyping of k-1 and saying how much better it is from muay thai is honestly hilarious when k-1 at this point was as watered down as it gets precisely for the fact that buakaw destroyed everyone using muay thai techniques leading them to change a bunch of rules just to give the others a chance against the thais or other athletes using muay thai inspired styles. even with the enormous size difference to varga, lerdsila would still have a much better chance with the old k-1 rules, not that it matters though since the japanese were infamous at robbing every single decision out of thai fighters.
Varga said he didn't like the K1 rules and actually preferred the older ones for this fight. He said he had good clinch work he couldn't use against Lerdsila
@@kaxerrryeah, while I love this fight and have no problem saying Varga one, the lack of clinch rules seemed to be hurting both fighters bad. I would’ve loved to see some proper clinch work, especially when lerdsila climbed him that round.
