- In this video, I had a look at Create: Extended Bogeys, an addon for Create that adds new bogeys that can be placed on trains!

hey there, im a modeler for extended bogeys, RailFanNate, and I am here to say thanks for the video my good man, and thanks for the compliments on the 0-6-0, for im the one that modeled it, but to let you know, the valve gear will be getting a massive overhaul to make it more accurate, plus do a few more valve gear options to allow for customization, but everyone is busy with irl problems for the moment, so the mod development has slowed down significantly, so it will take time, but it will be there some time in the future, probably not with finished animations though, because animating bogeys is pretty difficult

I have not played MC in a long while, I had a Modded world (on self hosted server).
As I'm a fan of trains myself I fell in love with the Create mod and now with this fancy bogies!
I work as a developer and I wonder if it's possible to join the dev team for Extended Bogeys?
As I'm busy too IRL I don't know how much time I can put in to it, but a few hours per week should be possible.

literally one of the coolest addons for create, I love it because it adds what normal create mod trains are missing
Yeah, I really wish they would have added more bogeys to the basic create mod. But this add on does an amazing job of it.

It doesn't work for me, it doesn't work with the key and neither with "alt + train casing", maybe it's because of the SteamPunk mod pack but I tried it individually at the time and it didn't work either.
I want to know what this mod is called and if you can add it to ps4
The one thing I wish we could do with the Extended Bogeys is select how many driving wheels we want. So let's say you want to build a 4-4-0 rather than a 4-6-0. Or maybe have a 2-8-0 instead of a 2-6-0.
Also, I wish Create would just let us have more than one bogey for a carriage. That alone drives me up the wall every time I make a train

I'm sorry, but this mod, the create mod, and all related mods are for Java edition. This means it is impossible to add them to mcpe.

I'm not sure exactly what you mean, but if you're having trouble placing tracks the way you want them, you may try holding down your sprint key while placing them. It allows for a smoother curve.

It is called Create: Extended Bogeys, and it is still in development. If you want to download it, you have to go to their discord server which is linked in the description.

After the lag he experienced im not sure my laptop will be able to handle the mods
It really wasn't too bad, I'd say just go ahead and try it and I'm wiling to bet it'll work.
Most of the lag was probably from shaders so you should be fine.
I’ve loaded up Create before on my laptop and I only had a bit of lag loading chunks, so you should be fine.
One Tip with the glue: the boogies have glue on the side, that makes the problems

I've been trying to change my settings around for a while, and I think eventually I'll have some better resolution stuff. the issue I've been having is that it seems to always get squished or stretched, which I obviously don't want.

as long as you actually have the Extended Bogeys mod installed, you should be able to right-click the bogey with a wrench to change its type, and right-click with an open hand to change its direction.
that is not how a train would be and i love trains

I think they wouldn't add it simply because of how different it is from current features.

Yea its a good addon but I find the addon where you can make planes that you can fly freely with better

Some advice for that lag: use Optifine without shaders. Then, set your performance tab settings. It works! P.S. You are a good youtuber, keep up the great work! You deserve more subs.
after discovering Rubidiumm, I don't really use Optifine anymore, also I was not using shaders for this video. I'm honestly not sure why I was getting lag
