Revival is one of the BEST Stephen King books I've read so far. I highly recommend it. It's a rollercoaster of a story but you will not want to put it down I finished it in 3 days.
My first book was fairy tale. I was blown away by his style of writing and his plot and character development. Then I read Holly, 11//22/63, shining and misery after and several more Great video!
Great to discover your channel. IT is awesome! The Dark Tower series is my favorite of all time! Jimmy Mango is indeed an awesome booktuber. I really enjoyed the Mr Mercedes Trilogy, as well as The Outsider, but not as much as his horror novels. A group recently did a read through of all Holly books in order and we had live chats. That was fun! The book and movie of The Green Mile was sublime. Great video man, subscribed!
@@CliffsDarkGems Hey man, thank you for your comment! I read all the Holly books last summer. It was a fun time! I can only imagine how much fun it would have been to have live chats with others who are also reading it. I need to find a book club lol 😂 Happy you’ve found my channel. I’m going to subscribe to yours as well 😎
Insomnia is one of my all time favorites. I don’t know why more people don’t suggest it. Also, under the dome is a masterpiece. I tend to like most of what he writes but these two are tops imo.
@@NoDetourAhead I haven’t read Insomnia yet (i’m really looking forward to reading it soon). I read Under The Dome this year, and man was it an epic ride! I really enjoyed it. Like I said at the end of the video, it’s impossible for me to include everyone’s favourites by him. Some of the books I mentioned on this list (i.e., Carrie, The Talisman, and Mr. Mercedes) are not my favourites by him, but rather a good starting point for beginners, in my opinion. Thanks for the comment (:
Hello, I found your channel through Cliff's Dark Gems. I have a new booktube channel too. I just finished The Shinning and I loved it. So much more to the story than in the movie. I plan on reading It this October. I've heard good things about it. I loved The Dark Tower series. I was sad when it ended.
@@DK-ru9dt great question! I still have quite a few short story collections to complete but at the moment I would probably recommend The Bazaar of Bad Dreams (short story collection) and Different Seasons (novella collection)!
Nah you’re actually delusional or puerile my friend. Duma Key, Under The Dome, 11/22/63, Joyland, Mr Mercedes, Revival. And some short stories out of you like it darker are all outstanding, my only single complaint about his writing is politics bleed into the story sometimes.

Solid list!
My first Stephen King book was "Graveyard Shift", loved it so much the pages started falling out.
Hahaha that’s always a good indicator of a great book! Thanks for your comment (:
Hey bro! Amazing video! Exactly what I needed! I want to get into King's world (never read nothing by him). Anyway... greetings from Brazil.

Which was your favourite book in The Dark Tower series?
@@RileyReads19 It's a toss-up between The Gunslinger and Wolves of Calla. I think Wolves of Calla, but it's close.
