Someone pointed out that the recipe calls for apple cider not apple cider vinegar, which makes a whole lot of sense. Please ignore my point about the apple tart being too vinegary that was definitely my mistake! Edit: I decided to remove the portion over the vinegar, I wanted to keep it in for my Texas joke but it's a bit misleading. I don't want people to think they should be using apple cider vinegar or that my mistake caused my score to be different. I took into consideration that I did probably mess up when making the apple tart for my score, so figuring out my mistake will not change the score.
Glad that you mentioned the water part!! I was making one of her recipes and if I didnt go through the instructions multiple times, I would have missed adding water.
I love your video's, you have such a soothing voice. I just feel like limiting yourself to cookbooks holds you and the channel back (unless that is your intention of course).
When people say my fave recipe in the book, be skeptic. It takes a very long time to cook every recipe in the book. You can’t finish a cookbook in a few months, unless you are running a pro kitchen with lots of ingredients to use
Can you do a review on asiancookingbomb next she just dropped a cook book??? She's originally from China but married an American and is living in Minnesota.
Either The Professional Pastry Chef: Fundamentals of Baking and Pastry by Bo Friberg or Baking and Pastry: Mastering the Art and Craft by The Culinary Institute of America. The CIA book is what every pastry chef in America has read. You’ll learn a lot but it’s a hard book to recommend because the price and the recipes are for restaurants/industrial settings.
Sure thing! Your name came up in the raffle for this book, congrats! If you could subscribe then email me at cookbookreviewsyt@gmail.com, I can send it over.

Great review, I enjoyed seeing you make the recipes also. This channel is really growing in its niche, well done.
Thanks for the review! I’am still pondering purchasing this one and your review has been helpful!
Those molasses cookies are sooooo good! Definitely my fave recipe in the book.
