I'm a print technician, the "eco solvent" cartridge what they call "permanent" prints only on heated plastic surfaces (PVC/PET), DTG ink could print onto garments but needs different printhead which is way too expensive for a toy (piezoelectric instead of thermal). UV is the only type of ink that could print on surfaces that one would expect from this gadget but a UV pritnhead alone costs $2000 so it won't happen anytime soon.
Did work at glass ?
I can't deal with typewriters any more, but unfortunately I need them for the specific work I have, do you think this could replace a typewriter? I need to be precise and it will be used for small spaces. Thank you.

funny that the indiegogo for this printer under the name princube has still yet to deliver a single unit to any of the people that paid the just shy of $5m USD to bring this to market.....

Thank you so much for this and I was wondering in the year that's past have you found anything better than the mbrush? I'm looking to get one of these and want to order the mbrush but before I do I want to make sure this is the best one. I plan on using it on our cardboard outer jewelry box and shopping bags and repair envelopes. Any further info would be great and if none I will go with the mbrush.

If you go to Kickstarter, everyone who backed this new model "Print Pod" is complaining that Evebot has scammed them. No response from Evebot since August and NO shipped product.
Be very careful with Evebot.

The original prototype of the printbrush was next level. I wish they would have made it like that. It could swipe any direction sloppily and connect all the swipes to print an entire page. All these single line devices are so "weak" feeling after seeing that original demo. But I'm not sure the creator will ever make his original vision into a product. Weird that a working prototype can't be converted into a real product in over 10 years :\ I *might* get a MBrush, but it's definitely not where I want the tech to be. I want to be able to print large graphics in my journals, not single lines. It would be a killer product to be able to print larger graphics in several swipes, connecting all the "pixels" with no overlap via censors.
... I would wont one, that can print on abs black plastic, and have some ability to not be done in via Uv!.

I would think adding a stamp pad on the MBrush in the same fashion as the PrintPen, would avoid the constant dry-out. I revieved my MBrush (rather Mark Jet, same hardware different branding) today and it seems to be a common issue. According to HP's official website, the solution is to soak the cartrige in water and wipe it with a paper towel. Storage should be done in a humid, hermetic environment, such as a plastic bowl or, as the Print Pen, with a damped stamp pad. I'll try such solution and hope it works. HP's cartriges are known to have that issue, so I wouldn't put it on the MBrush, rather, the cartrige choice. Still better than the PrintPen though.
Followup: it totally works. The MBrush/Mark Jet has a gasket around the cartridge nozzles, but the volume of air it traps is too much, and water from the ink just vaporizes into it. Hence, a stamp pad cut to the size of that gasket area, about half the height of the total space, drastically reduces such volume. Dampening it with just a bit of water keeps the nozzles wet. In my tests, it lasted for over a day without use, and when printing, it came out as if I had cleaned the nozzles fresh. It is VERY important not to let the nozzles touch the pad, otherwise ink will leak into it due to capillary action, and that will become wasted ink.
Have you tried the Mbrush printing on plastic or evan plastic pockets this is what i will be using it for mostly?
Very helpful, I just received the Mbrush and couldn't figure it all out but watching your video answered some of my questions. Also, there is a curing agent I saw advertised with this printer that is used to make the ink permanent on aliexpress. Are you aware of a curing agent? Does the HP 62XL permanent ink work well with this printer. I've only had mine a couple of days but can't get the printer to print properly, not even a simple test text in black. It did print on glass but wiped off because not permanent ink.

Only ink printers that wont alert you on low ink and stop rolling when you hit low any color. Anyway i use industrial one and i bought transparent refillable cartridges.
The ink won't last you a "very long time" because unless you use it continuously it will dry up... All inkjets seem to do that. I have an HP and if you leave it for a month it's no good.
Can it print White Ink onto darker surfaces like black plastic?

you might be able to put the print pen in a small faraday “cage” just to connect it, like a galvanized garbage can or aluminum foil lined cardboard box or faraday bag. not a real solution but probably better than physically moving to a more wifi-solitary location.

Any Tri Permanent Ink cartridges yet?
Tri color inks are wasteful. When you run out of just 1 color you have to throw out the other remaining colors. You also don't get true black. Composite black is created by blending all 3 colors (CMY) to almost create a dark brown.

hei i can help you with that. Next time you experiencing interference issues. Put your devices in the microwave oven But not turn them on!. When the door is shut there are no electromagnetic waves in your oven, because its a faraday cage.

This printer uses your wifi-direct connection and an awful web page. It's beyond useless. When you're connected to it via wifi, you can not access the internet! How stupid. Do not waste your money on this garbage. Shame on you AuthenTech for pushing this garbage.
How come when I connect my printer to the laptop via USB, nothing happens.
I found you have to press the print button on top and then your laptop will find the MBrush. Also note, you have to have the MBrush connected via USB or WIFI or the app does not load through their website.
