We hadxa clock like that in our kitchen in the 70s you should get a credit note for the railway the charity shop so at least you can get something else.
Woman's clothes sell really well , but i have my wife to help me on that department . Some pottery has good money as well (beginning to experiment on that), and I've been doing well with beanie plush bundles (one of the local charity's does a ' fill the bag' for 1pound , then i make bundles to sell ) , everything else ,is the usual ,clothes , trainers , toys , boardgames , etc .
Hi Jim. That 1st shop you went into the PDSA....I noticed a pair of what looked like pottery candle sticks, black with pink flowers. Obviously depending on what they are asking for stuff, if they are old probably I would ask £20.On a lower shelf there was some Adams crockery in the Sharon design. A teapot, soup coupes tureen and other pieces. Again depending what they want for them have a look at solds on eBay but I've done alright on large platters. In fact one of the first things I ever sold on eBay end an Adams Sharon coffee pot back in 2008!! It's discontinued, still in demand judging by solds and some pieces rarer than others and fetch higher prices. Good luck. Because of you and the golf stuff you buy I bought a lightweight travelling golf bag. Seemed a bargain for £5 . Reminder to seIf : I must get that listed . It's not going to make me any money sitting in the cupboard. Happy hunting.

Most charity shops offer 30 day refund policy. Just don't remove the tags and keep the reciept!
