    Do you have any favorite themed hotels you’ve stayed at in Germany or Europe in general? Or at Europa Park specifically? We would love to hear about them! ❤

      I know a very special hotel in the far north of Sweden - the Ice Hotel in Jukkasjärvi. The Icehotel is one of the most famous attractions in the world and attracts visitors from all continents who want to have the unique experience of spending the night in an ice room once in a lifetime. For me an absolute recommendation for visitors to Sweden.

      @@Kelsea-2002 We have heard about these and would also love to go to that part of the world! What a cool experience would THAT be!?! Maybe we can find a way to make that happen! Sounds incredible!!!

      @@CompassChronicleTravels To get to know Sweden, Norway, or Finland, I recommend a trip with the camper van. Campsites do not need to be booked in these countries, because here the everyman's right applies. This means that you can camp anywhere where it is not expressly prohibited. Especially in the beautiful nature in the north of these countries you will often find wonderful places where you can stand all alone and very often there is even free wood for a campfire there. For me, there are no more beautiful places in this world.

    We stayed at the Colosseo once. It is a bit too noisy for my taste. And some stranger tried to get into my parents' room while they were asleep. My mom woke up from this. My dad slept through it, but he fell out of the bed during the night.

    Since I am a big fan of Italy and love Italian cuisine above all, the Colosseo is the hotel of my choice. I also love the ambience, the quality, and the value for money. Many Germans think it would be too expensive, but compared to American parks, this is very cheap in price. Especially for families it should be ideal in my opinion. Maybe you should have been paid by Europa Park, because your video would be a very good promotional video. By the way;La Romantica is notorious for its delicious pizzas. Great video with great insights and a good decision aid for first-time visitors. For this you get 5/5 stars from me.Greetings Kelsea

      Well thank you so much for the kind words! We LOVE LOVE LOVE Europa and certainly look forward to continue exploring and are glad we could represent them well, as they deserve it! Every experience so far has been superb! We are with you on Italian cuisine...we just love it! The pizza at Romantica was just DELICIOUS!! Can they just build one in my backyard? haha! We agree too about the pricing! Much more affordable than the main American counterparts; especially for the quality!

    Nice video, thx. The name "colosseo" is Italian, you stress it on the "e". Keep going, I subscribed.

      Ooo we will have to look into the Kronosar. I remember seeing signs for that but it’s probably the one hotel I hadn’t done some digging on yet. But I bet it’s amazing! They just do such a great job!

    Must admit that I had a chuckle when Heather pressed down the door handle to the bathroom and called it a nice DOORKNOB. I have heard how prevalent doorknobs are in the USA 🇺🇸 (80 %?) but in Germany 🇩🇪 NOBODY has doorknobs (at least nobody I know). They seem to be a bit more common in England 🇬🇧. There is a discussion on Quora why there are so many doorknobs in the US but not many in Europe. (Among other reasons, it's a safety issue.)

    • @CompassChronicleTravels
      @CompassChronicleTravels  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hahahaha we didn’t even think about that/catch that! 😆😆😆. That’s too funny! I’m not sure if it’s just us but I think we just call everything a doorknob out of habit, even though it isn’t 🤣🤣🤣. Love it! We have door handles in the house and are so thankful that they’re heavy to press, otherwise our two cats would be letting themselves in every room when they feel like it 🤣

    The Ep express is actualy a monorail. It is just named ep express. And there's an entrance for hotel guests if you dont get up to the staition. Instead you go right after the tunnel and then straight ahead

    • @CompassChronicleTravels
      @CompassChronicleTravels  ปีที่แล้ว

      Lol ok so I’m not totally crazy for wanting to call it a monorail 😆. And oh yes! I think we discovered that at the end of our trip! Does it go into the Spain section? That is a nice little option!!

    • @Watterpolo
      @Watterpolo ปีที่แล้ว

      @@CompassChronicleTravels yes exactly it goes in to spain. And opens 30 Minuten before the Main entrance

    wait... stracciatella is not a common flavor in america? it's one of the most famous flavours besides vanilla, chocolate and strawberry here in Germany.. i guess in Europe even ^^ it's just milk ice cream with chocolate chips in it.. nothing too fancy imo but still a classic :D

    • @CompassChronicleTravels
      @CompassChronicleTravels  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We have never heard that name in the states but the flavor sounds yummy!! We like the classics! I think America has a tendency to change some traditional names so I’m thinking that’s close to what we call “chocolate chocolate chip” hahaha. 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️. I like the authentic name better 😆😆😆

    Have you ever heared of Tropical Island in Krausnick-Groß Wasserburg, Brandenburg near Berlin? Since you like Theme Parks this is a little bit different but something you find anywhere else in the world. th-cam.com/video/41yGr6ktaBE/w-d-xo.html

    • @CompassChronicleTravels
      @CompassChronicleTravels  ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh my goodness, yes!! It popped up for us on TH-cam (probably because of all our city and theme park searching) and it looks incredible! We have actually been talking a lot about whether or not to try and do that somewhat soon. 🤔🤔🤔. There are so many cities, parks, architectural marvels, etc we want to see that deciding what to do is always so hard!! What an amazing country!
