Very complete video, thank you for sharing it Dr Sam ; may i know if the air presence in the bowel with comet tail , as we can see at 49:00, is possible see also in normal bowel conditions because it seemed to me seeing in people without bowel problems.Thank you once again and good job.
Thank you very much for watching! Yes, bowel gas is commonly seen in normal patients as well especially if they have not fasted prior to the ultrasound scan.
@@DrSamsImagingLibraryInfact in acute patients, but also not acute and normal people, very often exams are made not fasted. Many thanks for explication and good job tò you and your group
Gamna Gandy bodies usually appear as numerous small hyperechoic foci. Hyperechoic granulomas are generally slightly larger than Gamna Gandy bodies. Other than sonographic features, you can correlate clinically and distinguish between them.
For stones within intrahepatic bile ducts, you will be able to identify tubular ducts around the stones whereas in a granuloma, you will just find a calcified structure with no tubular structures connected to it.

Sir, How to differentiate intrahepatic biliary stones from calcified granuloma in liver ??
For stones within intrahepatic bile ducts, you will be able to identify tubular ducts around the stones whereas in a granuloma, you will just find a calcified structure with no tubular structures connected to it.
Thank you sir
Sir, one more question, how to differentiate between liver cysts and dilated Intrahepatic biliary radicle ?
The cysts usually have a round shape whereas the intraheptic biliary ducts have a tubular shape.
