I have seen him live 11 times, met him many times and his family, and been in the front row for most of the concerts including at his home in the Barn Blast concerts. He is stunning...the best vocalist that I have ever heard. Ever.
David's mom and I were part of the original faculty of a college campus in Tomball, TX when David was in high school. He came to our inaugural celebration in 1968 and sang the National Anthem-and, of course, nailed it! Superb tenor (my favorite!) and wonderful Christian. I praise God for him and his ministry. He was singing in the exact same key Whitney Houston sang it and at the end, the last time he sings the word "dare", he changes that one note to a sharp which is absolutely fabulous.
