    Excellent review I love my FH7S with spinfit cp100+ tips, very under rated IEM I prefer them to my FH9.

      Of the two IEMs you mentioned, which has the more focused bass?

      @@zeissiez honestly overall I prefer the FH7S despite mixed reviews.

    Very good looking iems, like'em. I still prefer the old FH7, even if it leans on the bright side, mainly because of the better isolation (open back Fd7, Fh9 let some noise in and that can be pretty disturbing) and bit stronger bass punch. Other then that the FH7s have better soundstage, more air and natural instrument timber. As an old Shure Se846 owner I agree the Fiio's are punchier, more natural and engaging. At the moment though... NOTHING TOUCHES MY IE900 from Sennheiser. Great review, we needed more iems!👍👍

    Yeeeey, love the new design, I'll grab a pair of these, no doubt! Sibilance gone without losing energy? Me happy! A bit worried about isolation, as I travel a lot with train and tube, but I guess without trying it's hard to tell. Thanks for this one, was expecting it.

    Great analysis!. I am looking to buy my first IEMs, are this ones still the best choice at this price range? Cheers!

    Great review. Is the gap in orice to FH9 worth it? i cannot stand harsh treble either.

      If you like your treble more in the style that Sennheiser does it then the FH7S is a better buy than the FH9.

    Please review or check some other good quality or high end IEMs, so that you have some perspective when doing such review. Comparing to Shure 846 and ie800 was not really serious as they are on of the last options you would buy for the price

    • @Flavius7
      @Flavius7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Just because Shure Se846 and Ie800 iems are older models doesn't mean those are not "serious" options. I understand chifi launches 1000 new iems per week and you want "latest & greatest", but older models are still good too.

      @kajetan9550 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Flavius7 they being older isn’t the point, as they are many old headphones that are still amongst the best, like hd800s, Odins, Trailli or tia Fourte. The ones mentioned are old and more importantly bad in their price points right now

      As a matter of fact I own myself a tia Trio which has a few years on it’s belt. I still haven’t heard anything necessarily better, just different in the top of the line. Just would appreciate comparing to some more relevant options, it’s like comparing an lcd-x or similar to some grado that nobody really recommends now
