Vidanta's East Cape | View From Form Sales Building and Welcome Office

Welcome to Vidanta's East Cape project as of May 8, 2024. This is our first time on the property, and at the time, the property was to open on June 15, 2024. Today, May 22, 2024, we learned the opening is postponed for 7 days. The new inauguration date is June 22, 2024.
According to information provide by a Vidanta sales representative, there will be 36 Estates units available. Each floor will have two 4 BR units, two 3 BR units, two 2 BR units and two 1 BR units. Since the 3 BR Estates is the combination of a 1 BR Estates plus a 2 BR Estates, it is likely each floor will have six physical units per floor (Three on each side of the hall.). With 18 units on the ocean end of the building and 18 units on the West side, the estimated 36 units is plausible.
The ride from Los Cabos is about 20 minutes one way. There will be shuttles between Los Cabos and the East Cape facility for guests to travel back and forth to Los Cabos from the property. When you think of it in terms of time, the trip from the Estates in Jalisco took about 15 or 20 minutes to get from the Estates Building to the Plaza. So the time commitment does not seem to be an issue.
Our guess is there will be demand for transportation to leave the property because there is nothing to do except play in the pool and on the beach. The golf course opening is planned for December 2024. On the surface, that seems to be a stretch.
