Vidanta's East Cape | View From Form Sales Building and Welcome Office
Welcome to Vidanta's East Cape project as of May 8, 2024. This is our first time on the property, and at the time, the property was to open on June 15, 2024. Today, May 22, 2024, we learned the opening is postponed for 7 days. The new inauguration date is June 22, 2024.
According to information provide by a Vidanta sales representative, there will be 36 Estates units available. Each floor will have two 4 BR units, two 3 BR units, two 2 BR units and two 1 BR units. Since the 3 BR Estates is the combination of a 1 BR Estates plus a 2 BR Estates, it is likely each floor will have six physical units per floor (Three on each side of the hall.). With 18 units on the ocean end of the building and 18 units on the West side, the estimated 36 units is plausible.
The ride from Los Cabos is about 20 minutes one way. There will be shuttles between Los Cabos and the East Cape facility for guests to travel back and forth to Los Cabos from the property. When you think of it in terms of time, the trip from the Estates in Jalisco took about 15 or 20 minutes to get from the Estates Building to the Plaza. So the time commitment does not seem to be an issue.
Our guess is there will be demand for transportation to leave the property because there is nothing to do except play in the pool and on the beach. The golf course opening is planned for December 2024. On the surface, that seems to be a stretch.

We returned to Vidanta San Jose del Cabo from dinner and were walking the property. All of a sudden, the fireworks started thundering! We thought it was for us.....Hahahahah. No, it was the finale to the CABO 1000 awards ceremony. Terrific fun - the fireworks were beautiful. And, no, we did not participate in the CABO 1000.

I was there too! Just few people in front of you from the looks of your video. Too bad we never made it inside! Not sure if you waited around till just after noon, but Mark Wahlberg walked out the back exit to a waiting suv where he waved and said a few words to the crowd! Still was worth it while braving the rain!!
Yes, it was. My wife was inside where she was able to snap some photos. Someone next to her took a straight on photo and sent it to her. All worthwhile! Lot's of fun being a "groupie". 🤣

In your estimation will the new bridge be complete by January or very obviously not?
Maybe. We received a photo from an Aimfair Member that shows the bridge is connected at the center. www.aimfair.com/News will show the article but unfortunately it is viewable by subscribing members. Definitely getting close. We will be there in November and will provide more input. Thanks for following Aimfair.
Update - Word from guests on the property now is the bridge will be open before the PGA tournament. That means no later than the end of January, 2024. Could be sooner to handle the increased activity over the Holidays.
Thanks, that was my initial hunch is they want it done before the tournament. They are just really, really, really bad with time management so we shall see (I will be there mid January)@@aimfair
@@mrnathanwest We are here now and drove the old bridge on the way to golf today. From what I learned, there are possible construction issues that need to be ironed out. Water collection and dispersion. Nothing structural. No answer about when it will open, but everyone is hoping it will be before the 2024 PGA.
we need a vidanta world update, it's been 2 months and i'm dying to know what's happening there
August 1 was the first day of a Sneak Preview period that runs from August 1 to November 12, 2023. The idea is book a week during that period, and sign up to visit Phase One of the Park. The Park name has changed a couple of times to what is now thought to be the BON Entertainment Park - Beauty of Nature. Attendees have enjoyed the food and rides. At one time, only the Parachute ride was operating. At another, the Vista Wheel (Farris Wheel) was operating. Probably depends on the day. We understand the Sneak Preview is now offered one day a week. We will be in Nuevo Nayarit from November 4 and will post our update then.

Well, the first phase has been exposed. There is no assurance other phases will open, but there is more construction. Some of the roller coasters are taking shape. Maybe next season. Anyway, stay tuned.
Does anyone know the price?
The itineraries and prices are still under consideration. Perhaps the schedule next season will include more travel dates. Originally, the idea was to use a portion of a week booked in Nuevo Nayarit on the boat. The trip would take guests from Puerto Vallarta in the afternoon to Mazatlan. Tour Mazatlan for a day. Then travel back to Puerto Vallarta the next day. Those who were on the trip said it was lots of fun!

Yes, it will be fun to see the first phase open in March, or later....maybe June....maybe October or November, 2023. We heard March, 2023. Then we heard June or July. Based upon the way time passes so quickly, management may delay opening until the start of next season - November, 2023. We will be in Nuevo Vallarta in March and will provide an update....stay tuned...

When will the entire park be completed??? Or at least phase 1??
Phase One may open during the first quarter of 2023. It looks as though the Ferris wheel and Parachute tower are lit, which may mean there is electricity to the rides. The motors that operate the rides may still be under repair. Speculation: Other phases will open in 2024 and 2025 as venues are designed and installed.

Yes, you can talk to the sale personnel at each tower and ask for an electronic ticket. Essentially, the sales person transfers a ticket to your phone, and then you show the ticket to the SkyDream Gondola operator. The Crater is very creative and fun to see.

Where is it?
From San Jose del Cabo, take Camino Cabo Este north from Buzzards Bar and Grill. Go north east to Zacatitos. Vidanta East Cape beach begins at the spot where a road turns right into a development on the beach. Continue on as much as you can until someone stops you. As second way is to take the paved Camino Cabo Este route and head north. Follow this road to the Vidanta sign. Not sure if you can enter there, but it's worth a try if you are out wandering around the area. Let us know what you find. Cheers!

Thanks, Tate. No second bridge yet. That won't be finished for another six to nine months, if not longer. Maybe Q1, 2023. The Estates Restaurant is coming along. I will be posting updates shortly. We Usually go to Riviera Maya bc it’s closer to where I live in montreal but we decided to go to Nuevo Vallarta and I like it better here at Riviera Maya it has it more crazy there but the fireworks are better overall I like vidanta Nuevo Vallarta
The fireworks are terrific, both at Vidanta and around the Bay. One exception - we heard that the Puerto Vallarta fireworks were cancelled because City and County officials felt the risk of spreading Covid was too high. Lot's of disappointed people, but sound thinking....
