Love that 'Cuda!!! Back in 1983 I had a chance to by a '71 'Cuda 383 with a shaker hood at a muscle car dealer in Sioux Fall's, SD. I passed on the 'Cuda. Went back to New Mexico where I lived and passed on a '71 Barracuda convertible and bought a '71 Challenger convertible from a friend. He made the huge mistake of buying an '83 Camaro Z28. A decision he regret's to this day. He hated that Camaro, and offered me the Camaro and cash for the Challenger about a month after buying the Camaro new. No way I was giving up the Dodge. He recently restored his dad's '68 Firebird and keep's pushing me to sell him the Challenger. My only regret is not having enough money for both the 'Cuda's too.
Also, like the video states, make sure you check out Jordan Pennington’s TH-cam channel for more info on the ZL1. The link is in the description box.... hopefully you guys have finally figured out where that is located.
So awesome to hear you narrating again and spicing the videos up with pop culture references and flatulence. Comments got “Spirited” while you were away. Glad you are back
Wow 9 motherfúcking second cars that look stock. Legendary muscle cars too. I cant lie this is in the top 5 of the best drag races that I have EVER seen. Just perfect. Holy 💩!
@@therealhonestabe7839 Love you too, hon! LOL! Honestly, we had no idea what had happened with the channel and C&Z didn't say, so it lead to a lot of speculation. Yours was a reasonable guess and it was right for 5 months! The thing that was unusual was that C&Z had ALWAYS posted up a comment on his videos, but didn't do that for the 5 months of non voice overs. That is why I was optimistic he'd be back. For what it's worth, he may be doing series of videos with and without commentaries, so folks will get the styles they like. Maybe we all will win.....we'll see.
If that’s Dave Dudek’s ‘cuda, that thing is on another level. Edit: Oh well, I can admit when I’m wrong. I guess that Camaro is on that other level too lol. On one of the forums someone posted that the ‘cuda had just run a 9.65 though. Those F.A.S.T. cars are simply amazing!
Dave's cars are still on another level, just happened to be a little slower on this run. Even in 4k I can't pick up how fantastic his builds truly are.
Normality has returned after the 5 month nightmare & what a way to kick it off with two iconic pieces of American Muscle in sub 10s - that is awesome 👍👍
I just happen to put this on. I told my son that this channel used to rule. I said the guy would tell you all about the cars & everything done to them. He'd have all kinds of cool memes & old commercials. I said i guess TH-cam were being cocks & not letting him do his thing. I said i stopped watching it but stayed subscribed. Then you started talking....😱😂🤣 That's cool glad you're back brother...👍🏻🏁
WOW! These two - even perfectly stock - would have been a battle. In these states of tune - outstanding! Glad to hear your commentary again. As always, thanks for doing these.
"Ahem.. guess I lost my voice for 5 months." Laughed so hard, wife came in to see what was so funny.... "Oh.. you are watching pr0n". Always love the vids, commentary or not. Loved this one. This FAST class is another level.
Looks like Jordan got it dialed in. Tony builds a hell of an engine. The Penningtons have always been quick in the PS and FAST classes. Yes that's Dave's cuda.
One of the best races in awhile...could have gone either way. Camaro had the weight advantage, but the Cuda still kept it close with the Hemi. I'm curious as to the gearing on the Plymouth...too bad it wasn't a two out of three!
Back in 1980 I had a 1969 SS 396 Camaro that wasn't strictly stock. It was slightly worked on by a couple of good old boys from Virginia. Had a 4-speed and 400 HP at the wheels. Had it for about 6 mo. and fried the driver's side valve train. Car was powerful enough to pull front end about 8in off the ground!!
Sounds like a gosh damn monster movie just by reading the title! Wow, what a race as I thought the 'Cuda would nab the big end. Truly Americas top guns here. We need a Boss9 in the mix 🏁
I'm a GM guy more specifically a Pontiac guy, but these two monsters could trade blows with each other all day. Both the Cuda and Camaro from the late 60s are just gorgeous. It's hard to beat those first-generation muscle cars in terms of looks. None of the cars today from the big 3 look as attractive especially the Camaro. It's hideous looking today.

I wish there was a best of 3, but FAST doesn't do that. They run quick 8 ladder instead.
The Cuda pulled 1/2 a car length early so I doubt he had a gearing deficiency. The Camaro ran him down.
@@wymple09 The Camaro pulled half track, they both crossed going the same speed.
With Dudek's Cuda, as quick as it revs.....I'm thinking 4.56s....or something numerically higher. It's basically a Pro Stock engine in factory guise.
