Great video buddy. Super informative. Appreciate you making this. Keep up the content. You got yourself a new subscriber.
thanks
Omg this is AWFUL watching this guy struggle through updates, registrations, etc. NOTHING HERE NOBODY CAN DO Themselves and struggle the same amount. Ugh.
Thanks for the comment have a good night
You're Cracking me up!! Have fun!!
its a lot of fun, I need to make time to fly this weekend
The Non-Inclusion of the cord is a Royal PITA!! Thank Goodness I have a TON of chords in every crack and cranny of my computer room!!
yeah cheap of them to leave out a charger
The FAA Drone Zone is asking for information such as serial # .. The number is on the bottom of the box and is the serial number to enter is normally with letters and numbers. That is correct that it has remote ID.
The Fly app takes forever and sometimes even crashes. Thank you for the information. Great work, thank you.
I just selected no for rid and left it blank if I remember correctly. try updating your djifly app for the sn
Isn't there a code to be added somewhere for the gps id?
yes but I didn't know the code so I skipped it, I figure they already have it anyway, I could be wrong
You don't have WIFI? 0_o
I do but its weak out in the wife's studio. I need to run a hard wire out there
Nicely done John !! Not too sure I have the patience to set drones up anymore
lol it’s not that bad
I gave you a like for the bidenomics quote lol…
lol thanks
@@TheProCut17sorry I didn’t mean that was the sole reason haha but it made me go ahead and impulse slap it haha.
@@Andyrewk all good brother I appreciate you
Me too!!
I was just watching videos about this drone and it’s freaking awesome bro.
I’m loving it
Nice one fella, always the way though…it’s always raining when you got a new toy 😬😬😬
You got that right!
Bummer for the guy that broke his joy stickie thingy, it must make it real hard to fly now. You will probably get used to it after a while 🚁
it's a fun flyer for sure
Hey 👋 John, please keep making the content. 👍😎
Thanks for stopping by Cool Cat
Nobody litterly is telling people this. Thank you bro. i thought this was clickbait. I have an air 2s and thinking it being smaller i wouldnt have to do it.
I’ve not heard anybody else mention it so I figured I would share. Thanks for the comment
Thanks for sharing bro
It’s a fun bird
Did a good job sharing the information to whomever might get one as well
Thanks sis
Would you prefer this over something like a Mini 4 Pro?
@@Nando_0 if I only had one I would go with the gps drone over the fpv, but this thing is a ton of fun.
Do you need to register with or with out FAA license ???
either as a recreational flyer or 107 pilot is how you register
Will this fly without refistration and the remote ID BS? Im not compliant with FAA rules and regulations.
I believe it will
Remember that the nails that stick out always get hammered down.
Thanks for making this video. Do we need a FAA Part 107 license if I buy DJI Avata 2 or any similar weighing drone which is 249+ gram but less than 500 grams or is registering the drone with FAA good enough?
you need a 107 only if you are gonna make money with it
@@TheProCut17 Thanks for responding, so for personal and recreational use, registering avata2 with FAA is more than good enough, right?
@@lakshaysethi7445 to the best of my knowledge, yes that is all you need to do
Inside is no fun !!!!! Love it
Not for a first flight with a new quad
3:13 Jesus, that was a loud beef
You meant beep 🤣 I went back to listen for a fart 💨
@@TheProCut17 yes beep. Phone thinks it knows better I guess. 🤷♂️😂
great info for all new flyers John important to know
Nobody else has mentioned registering
@@TheProCut17 problem is new flers never told about anything in canada nothing over 250 can be flown without cert and register since 2019
The fact that these drones have to be registered is a good thing, but only because of idiots who put them where they shouldn’t. Punishes the responsible user I guess
I’m intrigued, did it take the 42 minutes to get that update that it suggested it was going to take, or did it take way longer? In my experience of updates it usually says it’s 99% for about 10 minutes, knows how to wind you up 🤬🤬
I don’t know if I’d have the patience for that set up mate. You looked freaked out by the 3d set up 😂
Totally agree, needs flying outside rather than in lol
Update I think went a bit quicker. I edited a ton of space out of this video. 3d was weird

I'm going to register mine here soon, but I've read that once you register a drone as a hobby drone it can't be switched to commercial.
So I'm afraid to register it as a hobby drone, If I ever take the 107 and try to find work my drone will be improperly registered as a hobby drone and I won't be able to change it to commercial.
Not sure about that
I guess I’ll find out if I ever get my 107
You don’t need a license to register under 107. The main difference is that under 107 you have to register each drone. Each drone will have a separate tail number. Under recreational, you register one time and use that number for all of your drones. There is no real downside to registering under 107 other that a separate $5 fee for each drone.
@@richardcarlisle6692 thanks for the great comment, sharing your knowledge.
Apparently you have no experience with drones. You are just like many others who sees this product and want to fly a drone. Flying a drone takes time to develop the skill but people like you that think I’ll just buy this drone and fly out of the box with no experience well this isn’t the case. Develop your skills in a simulator then begin in beginner mode. It’s people like that ruin the hobby by flying with no experience and make dumb mistakes.
I'm new to fpv not to drones
Gee whizz dude cut him some slack, I mean we all start out as beginners..
You're wrong there buddy just unboxed my Avata 2 last night "my first drone" and I flew that thing like a champ through the house👍 hardest part was the updating and registration for everything
@@Struggle_Fest very easy to fly with motion controller
