I have been running the TSL SSR 265 70 R17 Radials for about 40,000 miles on my 16 F150, ON MOSTLY PAVEMENT and they are some of the best tires I have ever had. Still tons of tread left, they rotate evenly, they balanced perfectly! Next set of tires I buy when these wear out will be another set of Swampers!

Had a set on a Toyota pickup. Best tire I ever had. Planning on another set next year for my pickup and jeep

That was a really great video! First time seeing your Channel, was looking for a review for boggers and found yours. And even better the Hummer is my favorite truck and the 6.5 liter diesel is my favorite engine. Keep up the great work!

I just received my first set of radial super swampers SAM-89 ....supposed to be 36/12.5r16...but they are barely 10 inches wide! I know the size is never exact...but 2 inch difference in width! Is that normal?

You are more than likely measuring the tread with and not the carcass width (bulge to bulge) which is what the 12.50 is. Most people don't really know how to measure a tire, most think a tire has a height, but they don't. they have an Over-all Diameter (OD) which is determined using a mathematical formula. Also, when tires are measured in order to get their "size" they are mounted to a wheel that matches the design wheel specs, then aired to max inflation, left to sit for 24 hours, the PSI is checked and if any escape has occurred the tire is aired back to max PSI - then measured. Mounting a tire to a wheel that is narrower or wider than the design wheel changes the measurements of the tire as well. A tire should not be measured while under load. We hope this helps explain a little about tire sizes and how they are determined.

@@4x4adventurecanada3 I'll probably reply the same way though FBM then... because we only have one person that handled all of our marketing, social media included, we typically try not to answer many questions via social media and prefer doing so via email. However, your's was an easy answer and I happen to see your reply come through while doing our semi-weekly social media scan.
