    I've tried many vocal exercises and this is the most effective, especially if your putting the straw into a plastic bottle of water and blowing the bubbles,
    Even after 1 session you noticed the power and resonance,
    100% if you do this once a day 5 days a week with his other "sovt for powerful voice than that's completely transforms you as a singer,
    The thinner the straw the more effective is the outcome

    Take a ball pen, take out the ink pipe and back end plastic also and you got a perfect singing straw.
    Inhale exhale calmly first for 2-3 minutes without making sound of inhale, stand tall.
    Don't try to copy your favourite singer (i did this for months, its an stigma)
    Properly make sound without abdominal tight.
    Don't pay attention to vocal chords, pay attention to inward and outward motion of your stomach...
    Your welcome...

    • @FiveMinuteCall
      @FiveMinuteCall 3 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      This is actually a normal sensation. As you add more resistance your vocal tract will expand slightly due to the pressure - and you can often feel this. Just make sure it still feels balanced, so don't overload with too much pressure!

    • @FiveMinuteCall
      @FiveMinuteCall 4 ปีที่แล้ว +19

      There's a couple of things to be mindful of here. It's likely that these notes are across a break, so you'll need to work to strengthen them and help to blend and transition across them. There's also the factor of the breath, and that the breath pressure requirements change with pitch. So you might need to explore boosting the breath pressure slightly for lower pitches.

    • @krakaka8218
      @krakaka8218 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Yeah, its probably the breath. Low notes need to be backed up with a bit more support. Remember keep your chest/shoulders relaxed breath with the belly.

    This exercise looks promising

    • @FiveMinuteCall
      @FiveMinuteCall 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, these exercises are designed specifically to take advantage of the physics of straw phonation. There are certain airflow, acoustic, and pressure interactions that are modified when using a straw, and we leverage this to provide an athletic style workout for the intricate muscles of the voice.

    • @FiveMinuteCall
      @FiveMinuteCall 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Using a straw primarily produces a "mixed" setting, whilst also elongating the vocal tract - so you might find you can access higher notes with greater ease.

      As the comments elude to, any kind of cylindrical object with opposing apertures will work. However, they probably won't work as well as they should or could, especially for you voice. The degree to which these effects occur are dependent on the resistance of the straw and its length. Individual differences mean that a single straw cannot be applied to all voices, and they're also task dependent too. You might find that you need a narrower straw to get a better workout, you might also find that you need a longer/shorter straw too. Really play around and explore what works for you, and be mindful about choosing a length and aperture configuration that'll suit your voice and your unique vocal needs. I have lots more info on my website, so check the link in the description for more. :)

    • @FiveMinuteCall
      @FiveMinuteCall 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It sounds like you are using a very thin/long straw which is providing too much resistance. It might also be that you're outputting too much of a pressed-pressurised sound. I recommend finding a wider straw 6mm (approx) and using it with about 1cm of water. This should make things more therapeutic and eliminate the issues.

    • @FiveMinuteCall
      @FiveMinuteCall 4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Checkout some of the comments I've replied to a bit further down for a full answer. In short, yes, I guess you can use a pen, but it will never be able to offer the same benefits as a dedicated straw that's been chosen for its length and aperture to offer the resistance settings necessary for your unique individual voice.

      Not the only one. Hardly any of these videos clearly explain whether we are supposed to be trying to have the same lip placement as a normal vvv or not. They'll say to use a certain vowel shaping for the throat, ok understood. But the vvv, what is the technique for that?
