I REALLY wish this company would make a Sniper Elite game that's NOT set in WWII. Korea, Vietnam, Gulf War, GWOT, the possibilities are pretty much endless but they keep making WWII games every time for some damn reason. How many times can we really kill Hitler/Nazis? Lmao it's getting so old at this point.
I played too many WW1 and 2 games and thats the reason why i didnt buy SE5. I hoped for a more modern setting, maybe new stealth features like shooting out light to hide in shadows (similar to Splinter Cell). But i feel its the same game just different skin.
Since Hideo is not making any more Metal Gear Solid games... this is the only thing I can think of that scratches that 'sneaking around stealthy' itch. I was hoping for Sniper Elite 6 with maybe some new game mechanics and a fresh coat of paint. But this is better than nothing.
I absolutely love all the sniper games, but this game feels the same just repackaged with a little more icing on the cake! The character needs to be a lot more active than just sneaking around shooting everyone on sight, he needs more tasks to do like swimming, frogman missions, able to drive vehicles etc.! I don't think I'll be buying this game for the developers lack of vision! This to me is a hard no sale!
Looks like a DLC of SE5. But that's what I have been waiting for anyways. In spite of being 'rusty' I liked your sneaky gameplay even though you were stuck with a welrod.
Like others mentioned here, this feels like an SE 5 DLC, nothing new, only the voice actor. The biggest complaint was with previous title, that maps are not really designed for sniping, and now we get another urban setting game. I really liked 5, but this one does not make me excited, especially for 50 EUR. A jungle enviroment in the pacific would have been better.
Agree witrh others. Sniper Elite 3 was awesome game and I played many playthroughs while waiting until SE4, with new game engine (maybe UE5). Instead we didnt get that which was disappointing, we got the same now dated game engine most same feature and gameplay in a different skin (imho). Now this, a dated gfx DLC using the same Sniper Elite name. :( Please guys move the game engine and envision the game in something like UE5 something like a mission story like Bridge to Far film with numerous incredible setting presented, challenges to capture and hold the bridges.

Сначала через её белые хаты-мазанки прошла волна гитлеровской армии на восток, а потом по ней прошлась обратная волна таких же орков в лице красной армии. Поэтому интересна партизанская война, пускание под откос поездов, засады на лесных шоссе, освобождение небольшого концлагеря... Крынки молока на плетне. Подсолнухи, жара и поросята в Украине.
I dunno why rebellion pick a new character, i rather play a Karl as main character as retired back in action, its an easy sell, as for gameplay glad they stick to it.. "if it didnt break dont change it"
Czyli nic nowego. Nasz dzielny snajper nadal ma kanciaste ruchy a dodatkowe informacje na ekranie w biało czerwonych rażących kolorach. Naprawdę nic nowego nie można było wymyślìć ? Od lat to samo. Brak pomysłów ? 🤷 A odporność Niemców na ostrzał jest wręcz kuriozalna. Nic tak nie irytuje i to we wszystkich grach ze Snajperem 😠
@@Silverbird81 Saw the weapon wheel in this vid a few times. Seems to be slots for different ammo types (sub-sonic, AP rounds) but not shown in the gameplay. Hopefully not a cause for concern.

I just finished Sniper Elite 5, this song playing is from that game. It'll be tough not playing as my boy Karl but should be fun.
