I am glad Sadhguru visiting these institutes to find so many youngsters who have so much confidence but with little or no clarity. Hope they make use of 'youth and truth' series to awaken their innermost core.
These doubts arise when you start viewing things through a western prism or modern day individualism. You end up questioning everything and become a bundle of doubt with no room left for subtler , spiritual experiences. We are losing the very basis of our cultural ethos that guruji explained so wonderfully. Those of us who were lucky to hear these tales from our grandmothers grew up knowing of a value system that seems to be fast disappearing amidst all the surrounding noise. As parents it is our duty to ensure that this wisdom is imparted to our children.
I loved these students asking Sadhguru such questions, because of their questions we got to experience some new lessons, and also an alert for not behaving like them when a Guru is in front of you.
When Sadguru says "Over 4 years 42 lynchings and every year over 100 uniformed men including BSF are killed by the cattle smugglers"; the mod says , "that's totally a different issue, let's not get into that. One is religious, one is security". What a wonderful example of the intellect as a cutting tool! And these are the guys who began with 'why not throw out religion when there is the Constitution". Finest cutting tools used to be made at Sheffield Steel.
@serendipidus1 Well said. Debate isn't just about reasoning and asking questions. It is also about trying to look from other viewpoints and analyse those versions.
That guy claimed that sadhguru ji said *i couldn't image my house without my working mother* What a nice example of how these people will change words here and there to make someone's own statement look totally different! You sir should be in journalism! Sadhguru ji said something like "even when my mother didn't earn a penny in her own life.. i still can't imagine my house without her because she was handling so many responsibilities.."
Afraid the three students on the stage aren't representing the entire IIM thought-school well. So biased ! Not a single question was asked with the intention to learn something from the answer...

Let us not be so quick to judge these young men. I, for one, have been in their shoes when I was in my college years. Now, 13 years later, I have come to self realization and can understand the messages of the Sri, Guru and Brahmins. These three young men have a passion about them. Once they truly understand Sadhguru's message they will become some of the most powerful disciples of the most powerful gurus. Peace
Dude forget about Legend.. Look at the age gap of these student and Sadhguru they should have atleast respect for that old person who is more aged and respected they should atleast respect that
This is the beauty of Indian culture, Questioning & debating the very existence of your lord with freedom and still there is no violence brought upon you. Cherish this culture, don't take it for granted 🙏🏻
This is what happens when you try to turn discussion into a debate just to prove the institutional superiority over others intelligence!! No hard feelings enjoyed it a lot!! 🙏
His concern for the people of India was quite palpable and powerful, especially at the end there. If you do not see at first the picture this man Sadhguru is painting, be patient and listen through to the very end and you will see the level of understanding and direction that he is coming from. Props to him and his team for the amazing work they are doing for humanity!
18:32 "The very way you sit and stand is cause of memory" Even that hint from Sadhguru bounced off the heads of those 3 know it all self proclaimed erudites. Thats it, even IIM-A can't teach manners.
Why do the manners matter they are asking questions they never were overtly rude. They simply asked questions. You are all too sensitive and fanatical. If it's so terrible why is every Indian and Asian parent trying to push their child to go their.
@@OTSOBerg-pn5gm Now one more from the same reign. So you got insulted by small things...and you are representing a reputed institution, you don't even know how to sit...its not discussion going between pals. Your issue about taking sensitively these guys is similar to their questions.
' ... why is every Indian and Asian Parent trying to push their child to go 'their' (or...there?)'... Haha.. Our 'world' exist only till the reach of our vision... Just a scroll through the comments on this thread itself tells, how many of us are 'glad' that their kids are not studying there.... How many ex-IIM graduates feel disgusted with these 3 wise men sitting there... Is Dunning-Krueger effect in play here? A lot to learn from this panel...( even if it's...'How not be...attitude'.) And yes...even if the panel is representing the institute at this discussion, it may not be the true representation of the institute. And of course... we all are expected to appreciate that the panel was not 'overtly' rude...Surreptitiously (?) Is OK. 😉 Thank you...!
@@OTSOBerg-pn5gm you will understand this , because its not a part of your culture. In India we give more importance to respect rather an inflated irrational ego
सद्गुरु, It was a wonderful talk right from the age of Ramayana Maharashtra to the modern age problem of working women. We not only enjoyed the talk, but also learned a lot about the hardship Rama went through. He survived through all the painful decisions, but for the sake of Praja (people of his kingdom). I would also salute your patience सद्गुरु responding to some of the silly questions. Your concluding speech too was so comprehensive, I wish them to understand which they could not in course of questioning.
No, actually we are happy that we are not in these colleges. Their ignorance of culture and westernization can be seen. Happy that I took education in local schools and colleges ❤️
@Abin Abraham This is why we see such arrogance and narrow mindset in these IIM students. They study there so have a superiority complex over literally billion Indians that leaves them blind to other viewpoints. Jealous of that? Not really. Happy to still have an open mind!
@@vinjed sorry we respect YOUR hardwork towards YOUR education to get YOURSELF a better life but there's much more essence in life other than just gaining knowledge which is just enclosed in few thick books.
What a thoroughly enjoyable video! Sadhguru is not to be outdone by relentless questioning 😁. It shows how poised he is within himself. And, yes, this country needs to regrow its roots!
If these IIM students belong from the greatest minds of our Nation, We really need to think where are we heading as nation These representative of the college, didn't even had the courtesy to sit, participate. Nothing is structured. Instead of questioning, answering, accepting, they were more into turning the whole conversation into a debate.
Very true. Really disappointed with the interviewing students. Didn't expect this quality from IIMA. I am from Ahmedabad and my pride for this institution lays shattered
I feel other way theese 3 are like ameer who is asking good questions sathguru as a prinicpal kind of scolded ameer Khan check video 10 times observe you will understand
As I see the problem, Sadhguru has had an intense experience that totally transformed his life. And also at various times he seems to have had great recollections that he says pertain to many previous births. With the whole set of experiences he has gained a phenomenal wisdom that he would LOVE to share with others. I presume that is the basis of all his work and efforts. But as I surmise, people are at different levels of receptivity and although I am his ardent admirer, I confess that I am scarcely able to practice the Sadhanas that he advises. Despite trying several times, the practices crumble. So as I see it, I am fated to fail to achieve what designs he would love me to achieve. As a part of his transformational exercises, a few months back he has endeavoured to ENGAGE WITH THE YOUTH. I never doubt the sincerity of his intentions and how he yearns to effect a wise mindset on the youth. BUT SADLY I SEEM TO NOTICE that wherever he goes there is an attempt to corner him rather than a willingness to have an open mind and explore whether they could benefit from what he has to deliver. The Students specifically seem to gang up with the motive - 'Let him come to us! We'll corner him!' and even when he responds brilliantly to those questions, there is only frustration on the student's faces and never any sort of acknowledgement that he has answered the question well!. The lack of receptivity on the part of students is appalling! At least respond to his answers with the grace that it demands !.
You are quite right. I associate with you in many ways. But we must understand that how "we" see Sadhguru and how "others" see Sadhguru are quite different. We understand the context of his talks and can associate with him. But others don't see that way..They see it as someone who is a Yoga Teacher and some knowledge out his old age. And one more thing, there are many conman around wandering with spiritual uniform. So, there is a skepticism also that these people might be fooling masses.
Very right. There is this modern deep distrust of 'spirituality' and with most so-called 'good people' getting it in the butt so far as success in life is concerned and people like the 'wolf of wall street' types really 'succeeding', combined with 'spiritual conmen', the whole ethos of 'spirituality' becomes rather complicated.
Chill. He will make an effect on those who understand. He knows the students won't understand much but it's enough to start the conversation. The youth will start discussing it.
Thank you Madam for the extensive reply - I recognise the exhaustive effort you have put in to type it all out in great detail. I get demotivated very easily and as I see myself now, I'm too far gone to recoup. I clearly see the scene before me and I'm almost 67 years with many major things that I have attempted not having worked. I lack the energy for any more of it but thankfully my degree of acceptance is a great plus for the inexorable wheel of the future that I have to face as it grinds on.
From this exercise I feel only compassion and patience from Sadh Guru. And not to forget immense intelligence .. I hope 🤞 the young kids absorbed some wisdom.
its seems they must have read left ideology like Frakfurt critical theories and Gramsky cultural Marxism or somebody has feed them these ideologies >>>best example is movie BUDHA IN TRAFFIC JAM....
that statement hits me hard " we cannot make great consequences, but the source of consequence and consequences will follow" implies if you teach love, you will find a heaven but if you teach hate, wars will erupt.
I'm utterly disappointed with the 3 guys , the moderators...their questions were based on incomplete research on Sadhguru's past comments/books...And they were prejudiced and they were in a complete belief that they are always correct...
In addition , they think they are more intelligent than sadhguru, but by heart they know how inferior they are hence showing the attitude in different way all the while
Actually they don't have enough life experience and lessons , when they getting out to the real world experience then they will the get points of sadhguru was try to conveyed
It's not even about life experiences. Even my little nieces and nephews can understand more than these people. The problem is these moderators think they know it all and are unwilling to learn or understand.
I am hoping Sadhguru's time and efforts has not been wasted in IIM youth and truth event. At last, Sadhguru said that he is not proud to call India a nation which is very true because major population of India is not able to manage needs of very basic life. So what is missing in our people ? It's inclusiveness and consciousness, this is what Sadhguru has been trying to teach us. This could restore humanity and human being which could resolve most of the problems in India and on this planet. We are all so lucky that we have a very handy access of this divine intelligence.
I am very impressed by the temperament that Sadhguru kept in the whole session, knowledge comes with peace and calmness not ignorance. A lot to learn from this interview 💟.
IIM guys need more lessons on how to be respectful.

IIT Guy : Hey iam from iit, I am very intelligent!!!
IIM Guy : hey iam from iim and iam intelligent too!!
Sadguru student : hold my chaai!!!!!
I was Simply blown away by the intelligence of my Sadhguru... 🙏❤️... Hitler was emphasised in a beautiful way... Hats off
Seriously, this is the quality of IIM Ahmedabad. Duffer interviewers.
I am glad Sadhguru visiting these institutes to find so many youngsters who have so much confidence but with little or no clarity. Hope they make use of 'youth and truth' series to awaken their innermost core.
“You should not translate their question”, Sadhguru just nailed it!
Sadhguru listening to their questions patiently and responding them gracefully, shows the quality of the Being he is. 🙏🙏
I had no idea until now that our IIM produces that kind of personalities !!! Really ??!!.......
I loved these students asking Sadhguru such questions, because of their questions we got to experience some new lessons, and also an alert for not behaving like them when a Guru is in front of you.
Sadguru needs a bigger round of applause for tackling questions
A teacher of such caliber is nowhere nowadays. Bow to your efforts, Guruji, on trying to open our eyes through wisdom and spirituality!!!
Ilm students don't know how to sit in front of elders
@serendipidus1 Well said. Debate isn't just about reasoning and asking questions. It is also about trying to look from other viewpoints and analyse those versions.
Their siiting style show their upbringings
Specs guy does not know how to behave.
@@AbhishekSingh-fo5gzsarey category waley honge joh kam percentage mein ghus jaate hain aur phir apni aukat bhul jate hain😂
Students are so proud of what they think is correct instead of seeking. This video shows how dangerous is half knowledge.
The way they are sitting, i have not seen this side of Youth yet. Giving respect is through gesture is the easiest way of doing.
The way Sadhguru handled is extraordinary
That guy claimed that sadhguru ji said *i couldn't image my house without my working mother*
What a nice example of how these people will change words here and there to make someone's own statement look totally different! You sir should be in journalism!
Sadhguru ji said something like "even when my mother didn't earn a penny in her own life.. i still can't imagine my house without her because she was handling so many responsibilities.."
Afraid the three students on the stage aren't representing the entire IIM thought-school well.
So biased ! Not a single question was asked with the intention to learn something from the answer...
they were "interrogating" him! This is the problem of leftists and so called liberals that they think they are smartest and have zero willingness to listen. Such low lives!
I agree
@@jajaja7394 exactly. I have one friend who is leftists and its waste of time each time when you talk with them about real issues. They just don't listen.
Didn't anyone noticed as Sadhguru shared his knowledge their sitting positions completely changed ? It looked like they didn't expect him to be so wise and were humbled by him.
And the volume of their voice
Let us not be so quick to judge these young men. I, for one, have been in their shoes when I was in my college years. Now, 13 years later, I have come to self realization and can understand the messages of the Sri, Guru and Brahmins. These three young men have a passion about them. Once they truly understand Sadhguru's message they will become some of the most powerful disciples of the most powerful gurus. Peace
Disappointing thst it took so many yrs 😂
among so many comments i read yours is of my values...PEACE
SADGURU is a wonder..
Jai Hind Jai Shri Krishna.
Thank you for your patience & love Sadhguru❤️

This interview completely changed my respect to IIMs, such dumpsters? Shallow knowledge on spirituality, ego to the highest..!!
The middle one has got no sense of Humour ..... IIM students lol
Rony Bhowal took life too seriously ....😂😂😂
God hv mercy on his wife n children 😨😨
If that starts happening...business of schools and college will collapse.
Institute selected them to talk with sadhguru because they may be the most intellectual students of IIM and look how Intelligent they are 😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣
At 3:14 he laughed for once 😂
Future managers dont know how to behave and how to seat, they want to show how smart they are..
They having ego that they are studying in IIM
Correctly, and well said.
This is the beauty of Indian culture, Questioning & debating the very existence of your lord with freedom and still there is no violence brought upon you. Cherish this culture, don't take it for granted 🙏🏻
Sadhguru🙏❤️
Respected Sadhguru ji you are the most logical person I've ever seen : )
I liked Sadh guru's conversation with youngsters - Sadhguru speaks clear easy to understand language -
This is what happens when you try to turn discussion into a debate just to prove the institutional superiority over others intelligence!! No hard feelings enjoyed it a lot!! 🙏
Exactly. Its sad.
God bless those 3 kids...and a lot of wisdom!
SADHGURU is phenomenal !!
18:32 "The very way you sit and stand is cause of memory"
Even that hint from Sadhguru bounced off the heads of those 3 know it all self proclaimed erudites.
Thats it, even IIM-A can't teach manners.
Why do the manners matter they are asking questions they never were overtly rude. They simply asked questions. You are all too sensitive and fanatical. If it's so terrible why is every Indian and Asian parent trying to push their child to go their.
@@OTSOBerg-pn5gm a certain and basic level of respect is not at all a bad thing instead is a good thing
A lot to learn from this panel...( even if it's...'How not be...attitude'.)
And yes...even if the panel is representing the institute at this discussion, it may not be the true representation of the institute.
And of course... we all are expected to appreciate that the panel was not 'overtly' rude...Surreptitiously (?) Is OK. 😉
Thank you...!
@@OTSOBerg-pn5gm you will understand this , because its not a part of your culture. In India we give more importance to respect rather an inflated irrational ego
"Students Should Debate On Issues, Not Take Sides"- Sadhguru at JNU.
JNU has won lots of respect by conducting an informative and genuine Q&A session.
This man is one of humble wisdom!
Looking at the panel of student one question arises: is this intellect of IIM???
सद्गुरु,
It was a wonderful talk right from the age of Ramayana Maharashtra to the modern age problem of working women.
Wasted opportunity!! The respect for IIMs is downgraded. These moderators are full of arrogance and attitude.
The moderators are truly a prodigy of future narrow minded, adamant managers
Excellent interview. And the initial monologue was so beautiful. Thank you Sadhguru 🙏❤️
What a thoroughly enjoyable video! Sadhguru is not to be outdone by relentless questioning 😁. It shows how poised he is within himself. And, yes, this country needs to regrow its roots!
If these IIM students belong from the greatest minds of our Nation, We really need to think where are we heading as nation
These representative of the college, didn't even had the courtesy to sit, participate. Nothing is structured. Instead of questioning, answering, accepting, they were more into turning the whole conversation into a debate.
Yes. That's a serious issue. But don't worry, because the ones that matters are in the audiences.
Very true. Really disappointed with the interviewing students. Didn't expect this quality from IIMA. I am from Ahmedabad and my pride for this institution lays shattered
They get thru becoz of the entry exam scores. After that they bullshit their way thru the curriculum and exams
yes! they are the greatest! greatest fools!
The knowledge of this three guys is same, as the knowledge of "Chatur Silencer" from three Idiots.

Absolutely correct 😂😂😂
Exactly
Absolutely correct 😂
@@deepakbellur9676 True .
A major change is required in our institutions. Looking upon the mindset of the students.

Sadhguru has high emotional quotient and blessed you Wise One !
Even I have high EQ. I'm calm and composed always.
The message sadhguru gave at the end of the session was really good.
I'm utterly disappointed with the 3 guys , the moderators...their questions were based on incomplete research on Sadhguru's past comments/books...And they were prejudiced and they were in a complete belief that they are always correct...
And top of that all they were "representatives of students".
they were not willing to listen, forget abt agreeing!
In addition , they think they are more intelligent than sadhguru, but by heart they know how inferior they are hence showing the attitude in different way all the while
What an amazing story of a bird thankyou, sadguru your wit in every aspect of life is very very cogent and pertinent.
When Sadhguru says "Let us understand this " it's game over for the haters
Actually they don't have enough life experience and lessons , when they getting out to the real world experience then they will the get points of sadhguru was try to conveyed
It's not even about life experiences. Even my little nieces and nephews can understand more than these people. The problem is these moderators think they know it all and are unwilling to learn or understand.
Correct
I am hoping Sadhguru's time and efforts has not been wasted in IIM youth and truth event. At last, Sadhguru said that he is not proud to call India a nation which is very true because major population of India is not able to manage needs of very basic life. So what is missing in our people ? It's inclusiveness and consciousness, this is what Sadhguru has been trying to teach us. This could restore humanity and human being which could resolve most of the problems in India and on this planet. We are all so lucky that we have a very handy access of this divine intelligence.
IIM tried to be 'Aap ki Adalat' 🤣😂🤣😂
Completely agree!
And Sadhguru became Adalat ka BAAP
They need to be more disciplined first...forget about anything
But rajat sharma remains respectful...
But turned out to be "baap ki Adalat" and you know who was baap
I am very impressed by the temperament that Sadhguru kept in the whole session, knowledge comes with peace and calmness not ignorance.
A lot to learn from this interview 💟.
