After seeing all the waacking battles that day, I must say that: SHE ATE (except the battle with Lip J). She shows her musicality with pure waacking and deep expression.

In waacking, conveying the sensation of 'seeing the music' is a trait passed down from the OG,s and it should be carried on. While she danced, I felt the music in every single steps. In Wizzard's case, he skillfully hits every beat with his tricks, yet I don't sense the music emanating from him.

This edition of waacking forever was amazing ! The dancers, the judges, the crowd's energy and definitely THE MUSIC, everything was on point ✨❤️
Of course, the two dancers are cool But That internet voting score is wrong. Because many people around the world had an error in their website and voted for prince, but they couldn't because of the error. People from other countries, including me, are the same. Organizers need to make an apology or explain it to someone, and even if people admit it, it's not fair. There will be a lot of problems when people find out about this.. A lot of disappointment to the event… 🙃

Online error or not (very unfortunate, this definitely can’t happen again) Essence ABSOLUTELY deserved this win🙌🏽 Prince Wizzard did amazing as well but anyone who understands waacking knows she won. Every round was beautiful 💕

I dunno why but I was able to appreciate Essence a LOT more when she removed her skirt. I felt like the skirt made her moves a little stiff at times?

essence took all of it for me when danced to its not right but its okay. she really emulated the feeling and the meaning of the song.

Wizzard more deserve to win 🤩🥳 essence kind of boring in some rounds
As a waacking dancer for 6 years, there’s just no way that Wizzard lost. (Not being biased as I currently live in Canada which is where essence is) Can sb explain why she won? I feel like she even lost when she battled Lip J.
When se battled with lip J, lip j said she lose. And the final its about audience and voting😢
Well u can see at the end - it was basically a tie live. Online voting was a little shady - a lot of folks who wanted to vote for wizzard couldn't get their vote in. And yep I agree on both counts

Hi there fellow Canadian Waacker. I'm from Montreal😉. There's no right or wrong here, if you have connected more with Wizzard's style than Essence's that's fine. I love the fact that she is very grounded, present, intentional with her movement, will follow the soul of the music everytime and will do just enough to catch our attention without looking for our attention. She is not afraid to stop and take her time to give us authentic moments. Wizzard's approach is different but great nevertheless. I like that he has a very strong character, originality and his storytelling is amazing. It's a question of taste but at the end they both showed a wonderful interpreration of Waacking. That's what matters the most. It was a very inspirational and memorable edition. Congrats to all participants.😁

Contrary to what these comments say, the person who won, is exactly who should have won. Half of what he was doing isn't even waacking. Everybody in Asia wants to be the next "Ibuki" and therefore they all try to look like her, forgetting that you should look like YOURSELF when you dance.
Essence has been doing this for YEARS and did exactly what the music called for. I'm glad she won. They got it right. Winners should not be picked based on who has the most "fans" or "followers" but who actually embodied the music and did what it called for. Period. Her name is "Essence" for a reason. Put some respect on her name! 👏🏼 💯

I think you yourself don't know what waacking is. Waacking is so diverse there's so many different styles of waacking and who the heck are you to say what Wizzard do isn't waacking? Are you trying to say you know better than the judges who made him go all the way to the finals? Oh please.
And do you even know the format of Summer Dance Forever? The finals' literal decision is made by voting/audience cheers. That's one of the special part of this event.
You could have complimented Essence without bringing Wizzard down but here you are looking like you're no different from the haters.

If we keeping it 100% real, he should have never made it past his round with Princess Lockerooo. He only made it through because he had more fans inflating the votes. This is why having audience-based judgment for dance events is LAZY. Hire qualified JUDGES who know wtf they're doing. That way shit like this doesn't happen. Only one they got right was the final round. I don't believe there was a "mistake" at all; everyone was loving Essence and yall just can't accept that she won fair and square. Her experience with this dance, shows through and through. He simply got out-classed.

Princess Lockeroo literally conceded defeat for her battle with Wizzard, they don't do audience voting or cheering unless both thought they won then they will consult the judge, and if its still a draw then the audience. Who's the one looking like a fool now? If you aren't happy with the rules then don't freaking watch Summer Dance Forever, so many other battles, you can scoot off.

@@neferazureto be fair neither should essence make it this far with her rounds against lip j - except if u really knew waacking and seen Tyrone's showcases, this is quite in line with what wizzard is doing. Sure it's not waacking as the twirls u know, but wizzard did a fine job. I will concede wizzard's rounds were better experienced live as I did, and the tie w the live audience tells u as much
