The US is weird, the only good thing about the US is guns. And as someone who doesn't fear close quarter combat, guns are scary. And yet they're the best thing, because, they allow weaker people to defend themselves. And that's a good thing.

As a Czech girl I find it funny that you cover yourself at the doctor. He is a doctor. He's seen naked bodies I doubt I have anything he hasn't seen already in his life. Also, how can he examine me properly without excess to my body?
The topless part at parks, I think it's more common in villages. There you can see men and women in their underwear. It's a village. Everyone knows and nobody cares. In parks it's mostly men that get their top off.
The peeing....the drunk are doing it and it is...tolerated...not very well liked...
Locker rooms. Why would I cover in women locker rooms? They are women. They have the same anathomy as me. Most of them had children and had to change them, they saw and know what a woman body looks like why....why?
And last! Children! They are children. They don't care. They're the last to care. They are the first one to strip in the heat of the summer and it's very hard to convince them to keep on at least the underwear. And it's normal to see them playing in the public pools and spots with the water half naked. And if you see a 4 year old splashing in their underwear and think about something innapropriate that's a you problem and I would not trust you with children

As a Swiss, I find the attitude towards nudity in the US strange. Violence, murder, blood, fear of being murdered etc. seems to be completely normal, but if you see a breast or a penis (even if it is only Michelangelo's David) then all hell breaks loose. That nudity is immediately seen as pornography (or sexualized) and not as what it is, normal, I can't quite understand. Of course there are places, occasions and circumstances where it is not appropriate to show naked, but that has nothing to do with the fact that children could see that, but it is decency.
Even here in Switzerland, there are normally only group showers (separated by gender) in the gym. Sauna is often mixed (sometimes there are, depending on the sauna, times where only men or only women are allowed). However, it is normal to go to the sauna naked, and only with a bath towel. Normally, you then put the bath towel on the bench as a seat pad.
My friends and I have been to Croatia several times in the last few years for naturist vacations. If you have swum naked in the sea (or swimming pool) for the first time, you don't really want to go into the water in a bathing suit. No wet swim trunks afterwards that feel uncomfortable. Just stand in the sun and the wind and you are dry. Also, nudist vacations have pretty much no sexual appeal, you see everything. Since I find it, from a sexual point of view, more exciting if you do not immediately see everything and the fantasy is stimulated. But that's another topic.
But well, if the (not all) Americans feel comfortable with this prudish attitude to the human body, that's ok. As it is also ok that in many European countries the (not all) people are not so prudish.

Regardless if you amongst friends or with family.

In France we have nudist or naturist beaches and campsites. People do not look at one another. Which is a good thing, especially for people who are handicapped or amputated, etc... whereas at regular beaches or swimming pools even in bathing suits, people would look/stare, so they don't go there.

The only time I saw adults urinating in a park was in front of the Prague main train station. There are women breastfeeding in the public but it's not something you see every day. I hadn't known about the "no pants day" in the Prague Metro until I watched this video. Even tough s€x shops are common in big towns and cities (with more than 40 thousand inhabitans), there's a big logo saying "Erotic City" (or a different brand) but you can never see inside unless you go there. In most saunas, you're allowed to take a towel with you. I believe there are "beaches" at riverbanks, lakes etc. where people sunbathe naked but the only one I've seen was aside from the rest. Even though everything Jennifer says in this video isn't suprising to me, it's not a part of my everyday life.
All in all, the Czechs have a more liberal approach to nudity than the Americans but they definitely don't show their naked bodies everywhere on a regular basis.

Yes, youtube is an US american company, and when I made a video on this topic, youtube instantly made it "adult only". And as mentioned here, there is nothing, you wouldn't even see in public TV.
What kind of body part is offensive?
Naturalism is just about freedom and equality. Every human is born naked and naked all are equal.
Thinking of offensive body parts is thinking about sexuality.
But a naked body is not about sexuality, it is just a naked human.
In Germany, naturalism vacation or Freikörperkultur is something for the whole family including kids.
But yeah, if someone only thinks about sex, when he or she sees somebody not dressed uo to the collar bone, then this person probably thinks a lot about sexualtity.
Why would a man become "creepy" if it is absolutely normal to see naked people? And why would such a person look at the "no pants day" (what seems to be very funny), when the person could also go outside and see a fully naked person?
Except the "no pants day" it seems very similar to Germany.

    2) The public toilet are not goverment financed toilets but there are paid by the city but mostly you can pay them. Public toilets just means here that it serves to anyone. Those are not toilets in restaurant or shopping centre design just for the clients or buyers. There can be some financed by the city but usually you have to pay some ammount of money as a cost of cleaning or the salary of the lady or to bussines itself.
    3) Not wearing swimsuit into sauna has more reasons - it is not hygienical, it can reduce blood circulation and cost some health problems and it could be from materials not able to stay the 98°C (208°F) heat in the sauna - it can damage the swimsuit, damage your body (cause dermatologic problems) or damage a part of sauna itself. That´s why are not allowed. You will get a sheet just to cover yourself and have something to suck the sweat into. BTW the shape of the doors copy the shape of the locker. There is another one with the opposit shape next to it - possible to hang there long coat and use the flat box as a shelf - it is better way how to use the space because you don´t have to do wider lockers to have all possibilities how to put there you clothes.

Regarding creepy men: If sex, nudity is normalized and not repressed you do end up with a lot less creepy men.
Sure, they still exist, but it tends to be physiological (caused by an actual disorder); and those people tend to be caught by the system early on and get treatment.
While Europe is very connected; once a creep and caught you can't just flee to another state like in the u.s. and restart life. Not as easily anyway; there will be the language barrier, you need to redo all of your certifications (in the case of doctors) etc
Rarely do you end up with your stereotypical repressed creep here: the few that would end up that way can anyway live out their fantasies without it being detrimental to anyone's life; because there's less of a taboo surrounding sex here meaning you'll always find someone willing to share your cup of tea with you.
There's very little you can't experience legally* in Europe, why be a creep?
    * We have shooting ranges too; they're just way less popular. And multiple EU states have decriminalized drugs. We also have casinos and unfortunately prostitution is legal in many states. There's nothing you can't do here, you can even drive as fast as you want in some places; why be deprived.

I dont know if our definitions of what a creep is are different or something. But just being a creep isnt illegal and I am not sure how they are caught by the system or get treatment. I mean I see how that would happen for creeps who commit crimes. But there are plenty of creeps who dont commit crimes but are just creepy. Yes its true that places where peoples urges are repressed creates a big problem, but that can also be atributed to a lot more sociopolitical issues. I am not sure whether you mixing being a sex offender with a creep or something.

@@josephflack2587 I was mainly referring to creeps within the medical system. In the video, theres a part where she talks about medical exams and nudity and the question came up: don't creeps take advantage of it.
And of course there are creeps within the medical system here too: I just think it's less prevalent due to the things I mentioned. Especially the acting out part when you have so many different means that are not illegal and won't ruin anyone's life. That some people are inherently rotten, and can be found all over the world I don't disagree with. I just make a point that they have a far easier time just living out their fantasies here and don't have to get a work within the medical field in order to then take advantage of patients.
But sure, there are many ways to be creepy; everyone will have their definition. Why setting the barrier at what can be deemed illegal is probably the best we can do.
And sure there are creeps in Europe too; I just have a hard time linking their creepiness to repressed feelings. Unless they're migrants/refugees that bring their repression with them and are plunged into this liberal culture where they don't know how to behave; we've seen plenty of such examples in Europe lately.

Creep and off-putting are not the same. Everyone has been someone's creep at some point according to modern standards; off-putting, cringy, tacky is one thing. Another thing is dumb, young hormonal guys, full of drugs and drunk on alcohol packed into crowded areas where everyone is sweaty and half naked: but that's just human nature, stupidity but not necessarily creepy.

Second reason why we like being half-nude in parks or any public space it's just for like you said for the breeze or we dont like to sweat in our t-shirts if it is hot that day. Czechs just dont care, a doctor does not care that youre stripped down, its his job and he is not interested into anything besides getting his job done and once you stop caring too, it becomes much easier. Men do not care, people around do not care unless youre urinating on someones house, its a unvoluntary boody function and once you have to go you have to go. Naked people on beaches do not care and so do people around. Children are often running around naked on those beaches as well. There can be few exceptions of course but over all people just do not care. And I think it is better than being afraid.

If you are a prudish american you cannot go to nearly any European country.
I live near Barcelona (Spain) and there was than man that was naturalist (he got shopping, rode a bike...) and sometimes foreigners watched him horrorified. The police had to explain to them that it was "permited" (there wasn't a law allowing or prohibiting it, it was a loophole he used) to walk around the city like this. He only had to put a towel (for hygienics) when sitting in a public transport and in food shops and restaurants because police asked him to do it to improve the coexistence. Now Barcelona doesn't permit nudity (the town hall removed the loophole) but I was so accustomed to see him walking without clothes that I didn't bat an eye. Sometimes he walked near me and I didn't see him. I will always remember the face of a friend from Madrid when she saw him with his groceries bag. She said to me: Do you saw him??? He was nude!! And I was: mmmmmm, ok? He was minding his business and I was minding mine.
I don't like to do topless at a beach but I don't mind if you do it. It's your body and your breasts. Topless in Spain is permited at the textile beaches and it's not unnusual to watch small kids running starkers there. At my town usually you are not going to see people sunbathing at a park because we have a textile beach and a nude beach (10 minuts by bike or public bus) but now we have lots of foreigners on vacation here because were opened a pair of hotels and now we see them sunbathing at parks. Usually these people are from north Europe and I really feel for their skins. It's permited or at least not frown upon and I don't mind either.
Public pools here are more estrict than the zcech ones. We have to wear (at my town) a bathsuit and a cap. And the public sauna at the sports center is male/female and you have to wear the swimsuit or a towel to use it but you have to wash before entering it and not wear a cap. I think the public sports center do it like that because it's for male/female and don't have specific hours to separate males from females but I think if you want to go nude you can do it but you have to put the towel between the bench and your butt. Here we don't have a sauna culture. I think this year if we are sunbathing at the exterior public pool we can be topless by town hall rules, I'm not sure. The showers are communal (there are 6 on a row) and the changing room it's a big room with benches. I think it's common in nearly all Europe to have a big female changing room with communal showers and other big one for men with it's own communal shower. There is one small room to change if you are shy at the pool side of the sport center but nobody uses it. At the gym side of the public sport center there isn't an only person changing room.
I laughted when she talked about breastfeeding because my cousin breastfeed her daughter a very long time and the kid sometimes came to her (perhaps she was playing with her friends and got thirsty or hungry) and asked for it. My cousin put her daughter at her lap and breastfeed her while talking with me or her friends (male or female) and nobody said anything. There are women more shy that tend to go to a less crowed part of the room to breastfeed the child and others more outgoing that put the baby at her lap and breastfeed the baby while talking or doing other things.

I think the most disturbing fact is the country which is the most prudish there (USA) is the one who produces the most of the filthy content as well, be it porn, violence, etc... that's really strange. Anyway the part about the locker room is right. I always had communal shower rooms when playing basketball. Where everyone got naked to shower after practice or a game. The only separation was between male and female locker rooms, for sure.
The fact about wearing only underwear in parks isn't strange even for us in France. Being completely nude is not something accepted here, except in naturalist friendly places, which have special authorizations. But going around your torso bare isn't something uncommon in summer, especially with the very hot weather we get currently. As the beach, a few women goes barechested as well.
Definitely, the prudish US vision of things seems really foreign to me.

His girlfriend seem to be shocked and she asked why we (Europeans) are so obsessed with being naked. She talked about moral and sexual issues. My SO (from Britain) was a bit enerved of her and she said: "At least we have only every two month a pool or sauna orgy. And for the record just for the inner circle (of friends)."

Poland is something in between I guess. When you grow up like that you dont notice it later on, it is not like everyone is running with their parts exposed and not every beach is like that, in fact most there isnt but by from what I am hearing US is way to conservative, idk about Czech, I was there a few times but didnt notice that really, I know Germany is all about that. Overall I think at least tolerating it and viewing it as something natural is healthier

She keeps repeating that she grew up a catholic.. well me too, yet, me and my brothers bathed in the public pools naked until we were like 6 years old, our parents had us pee in bushes in parks when we were out in the city and there was no other option except for the public toilets, bcs public toilets cost money and are really filthy. We went to sauna butt naked and we ran arund our neighborhood half naked in summers. And seeing our fathers and brothers around the house only in boxers is just another fact of life for a Czech i really never thought how all that could be so shocking to someone :D and the nurses being there while doctor chcecks you over is crazyyy

She obviously lives in Czechia, but this is basically just Europe vs the USA; a few details aside. Also, of course there are creeps in every country. I just wouldn't think whatever paper thing you have at the doctor stops them; and apparently it indeed does not.

I remember that in the 2000s, when we were on holidays in Croatia, Czech women would always sunbathe topless on the beaches.

I think I understand the American attitude and it may have something to do with wearing a gun. Since it is perfectly legal to wear a concealed gun for anyone and this is perhaps believed to act as a deterrent because you never know. But if nude, there is really only one way to conceal a gun and it is disgusting 🙂

L-shaped lockers are quite common in Austria too, completely normal but sometimes annoying when you have a lot of stuff. Sauna culture is quite similar in Austria. We go to the moxed sauna about 2-4 times per week at the gym after working out and we sit there talking about random things, last time we talked about mangos and their quality in different supermarkets, about vacations, movies - When I tell Americans about this, most of them can't wrap their head around it.

So funny. A few years ago on holiday in Greece we were on a mixed nudist/non nudist beach when a large party of young Americans approached, I guess they were on some kind of 'trip' they all looked in their late teens and were being lead by a young man holding a stick/cane.....obviously the 'leader', when he saw the naked people he stopped dead in his tracks, turned and pointing the cane back along the beach he shouted "About turn everyone....this is not the place for us"..... the funny part was so many of the young men and women were straining to see what had stopped their progress, I bet most of them would have loved to have walked on....but perhaps not as you Americans seem so uptight about 'nudity' 😂

When I high school right next to it was this man made lake with a sand beach... I remember quite a few PE lessons when we went for our 5K run (it was several laps around this lake) with quite a lot of nudist on it (it was usually in the morning so it was mostly quite old people as young people are at work) and how we just run trough the small crowd there. In the first years we were all just look down in front of yourself on the heels of the person running in front of you (the teacher was running first) but in the secound year and onwards we just did not are anymore and it become the new normal and none of us cared if we saw a private parts of somebody on the beach. Human body is just a body and there is nothing inherently sexual about it and unless you endangering others with your behavior just do what you want.

The locker is pretty normal in public pools here in Czechia. It's L shaped because there are two lockers. One on the top and one on the bottom. That means you can fit more lockers in one place, make the changing rooms smaller and who doesn't like to be in very close proximity of a bunch of naked strangers? 🤣

ad the "public toilets" at 10:35, the public toilet is toilet booth. It is not toilet under some establishment accessible to public, it is ONLY toilet, accessible by public. Those are mostly run by the city, or establishments working under city management (like city transportation including underground/subway/metro).
11:46 - the mans car was (as i understand) actually stopped by trafic jam (in his direction) and he dumbly decided to go to the divider. BTW, that is NOT normal. "Normal" behaviour, in case his situation is "emergency" - i.e. he can not wait till gas station, would be he going out of the road and behind some bushes. But it is possible he was afraid, the jam would start moving again, and he would not get back to his vehicle.
17:20 - the L shaped locker door, thats because the locker is L shaped to. Actually Two Ls on each other, in the way, like tetris game can get.

Few notes, if somebody already did not wrote them:
    - its impolite to urinate in public space in city, but drunken people are doing it from time to time and parents (mostly mothers) are letting their children to urinate there to "because they will not keep it" (imo excuse)
    - we are not obsessed with nudity, we simply fo not care (its sorta bound with few other thinks)
    - breast feeding is theme also in CZ, but mothers will be probably pretty aggressive, as some of them are activist (probably most of those with really naked tits)
    - you are right about that sauna. Its more clear if you will not use swimsuit.
    - in parks, people are usually sunbathing in underwear, naked will be asked to dress by police
    - at doctor, you usually undress only upper part, but I get that that is uncomfortable for woman
    - and no, we are not running in hallways in underwear (but there can be some exceptions) :)
