Thanks for the video, very informative. Showing removal of the egr pipe helped tremendously
Bro thank you so much for this.
Did you do all of this under the car or over the hood I see it’s easy access at the top but would it be easier under. Also I’m replacing my gaskets was it pretty dirty and hard to clean.
both under and over, cleaning wasn't bad, just had a bunch of carbon buildup in some areas.
Thanksss broo shit helped
Is the job still possible without removing the Y pipe? Can i pull the manifold out from the top? Thanks.
To remove the egr pipe you'll have to remove the y pipe, it gives access to the egr pipe flare nut at the bottom part of the exhaust manifold.
@@OldSchoolNoethanks bro
What did u use to get the first 2 bolts off the exhaust manifold the one before the cats
you mean the 2 nuts that go onto the exhaust manifold's studs? (2 studs shown at 1:19 ) 15mm socket and extensions, plenty of penetrating fluid.
@@OldSchoolNoe yea those and thanks but now it ain’t worth my time to get it off it turns out mine has a bad rod😭
@@quads3591 oh man, yo is that Mustang is worth saving?
@@OldSchoolNoe well all that’s wrong with it is that rod everything else works amazing
