I was backpacking through andalucia and southern Spain. over the new year and xmas and hardly heard a voice from the uk. I don't have any issues with that stuff British Benidorm stuff. It's a shame if folk don't embrace Spanish culture because it's so varied. I love egg and chips with olive oil as well as the gooey tortilla from mercadona. I got the impression backpacking that brits were under represented compared to most other counties when travelling southern Spain.
Fact ! Before the pandemic, Spain received around 84 million tourists per year. A whopping 17 million of these visitors came from Britain. But Brexit has made travel between the two countries more difficult, as the UK exits EU-wide free movement agreements, one area they are trying to change is Brit seasonal workers exempt from the 90 day rule , as for any other changes to how long one can stay , example motor homers ??
Hi Anna The black chicken is shall we say a place where nice ladies don't go. The ladies who work there offer a different type of service. Not a place you need to see.
Hi Ana. My favorite bars have to be The California, Western Saloon and Morgan Tavern. I and my friends have spent many great nights in all three places. Later this year we shall return.

@@kevinhughes2440 That's a goodin well done mate. I've been reluctant to use any company other than Jet2 because of all the problems the others have had with regards to staffing issues although they must have it all sorted by now. We normally go in September but I'm finding it pricey tbh

Just missed you Friday Ana. I left Saturday those groups were there for football tournament. Benidorm is changing don't seem the same anymore, don't know if I'll be back next year getting to old for it

I'm British and that whole 'British tourist' area looks like my idea of hell.
Would that be because it's British people that frequent it ? Benidorm is not the problem, the people that go to it are the problem.

I think it's the 90 day rule, why it's quite, I been in January to benidorm in the past and it was more bussier,
4th February first 6 nations matches starts lots travel to Beni for the rugby weekends

I have never been to benidorm not my idea of Spain, live on Lanzarote not with tourists, we live with normal Spanish people not tourists !!!
Benidorm has different areas, some of them are not as touristic
