    Hey Ricky... I recently acquired the Archfiends expansion through a trade. It really adds the finale I think the game is missing. I have only played the deck that pairs with the fire Dragons so far. The Boss is a real challenge... I haven't managed a win yet. I can't find a play through with this expansion anywhere ... hint hint... :-).

    Always been curious about this game for solo because I'm a big Aeon's End fan.
    Glad it's getting the RR treatment 😊

    Hey Ricky,
    I just got the Axis & Allies 1940 game and it is SO complex. I remember how much your playthroughs helped me learn how to play War of the Ring and Battle of Five Armies so I was wondering if you were ever going to do one for Axis and Allies. I would really appreciate it and I think it would help a lot of people out.
    Nice video also. Keep up the good work!

      thank you! I don't have Axis and Allies, so no plans for this one. I hope you find something on youtube elsewhere!

    Hello Ricky, so Glad your making new videos, I have been a subscriber since the early Mage knight videos, and because of your helpful videos I have dived deep into solo board gaming, my question is do you prefer Shadowrift or Mistfall as a pure solo deck building experience?

      Hi Ryan, thanks for supporting the show! Yup, things have been slow the last year or so, with me turning more attention to design.. but it's all good fun! Shadowrift or Mistfall? As a pure solo deckbuilder then I would say Shadowrift is more in tune with that mechanic; in Mistfall the central part of the game is hand-management and less deck building.

      They just did another kickstarter recently too; the pre-orders are still open if you want to grab some expansion stuff!

      @@BoxofDelights I haven't even played the last expansion stuff I got, Rick! Thanks for letting me know though.

    I like your playthroughs a lot. Question: In Solo Play can you really use more than one villager per turn?

    • @BoxofDelights
      @BoxofDelights  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Simon; yes, that's right; as you can in multi-player too. There is no limit to the number of things you can do during step 7, except each Hero may only play one Epic card per Round.

      Thank you very much for the answer. I played that wrong. I thought I could only use one villager per player per turn. Will you continue this?

    so in short i need to build my deck, and the town deck? I hate those games. The creator should have set up that. I just want to play asap.

    • @BoxofDelights
      @BoxofDelights  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      you don't set them up; they are already set up. You adjust the deck as you play, by gaining cards and losing cards. It's very dynamic. What's interesting about this game is you are managing two decks as you play, not just one.
