    IMPORTANT
Dakar have hit me with a copyright strike so ive had to delist some of the videos just in case
i guess they got pissed that mine were better
because of the MOTOGP one before xmas that means im really vulnerable now and the channel could be removed at any time
I have set up this backup channel so please go and follow it NOW,
this could all be removed at any moment now so it is critical to stay in touch via the backup channel here
    th-cam.com/channels/CSl6i-tZJNC5DQ38vgCtvw.html
sorry for this if i get another strike it wipes out all my work
all my old videos will be removed
I wont be posting anything much on the new channel unless this goes down
but this is a just in case because it really could go down at any point
the videos are still visible if you have a link so if you have problems message me for links
so you can still watch them,
if you follow the channel and this one gets taken down you will be able to find me there
sorry if thats a bit garbled
ive just woken to this but i guess i could have had the channel taken down already
    so i should be thankful
    ride free everyone

Thank you Jesus for all your sacrifices, maybe you could help me with my self (throttle)control ?! Maybe I should move to the UK. My ancestors came here fleaing the monarchy's in 785 A.D. so it's unlikely. Although I would like to visit the place where my great uncle died in a P.O.W. camp . The blackbrid was slug with carbs the 954 would run circles around it. And everything else on your lust has ABS and TC. That zx12 was harder to ride than an H2r

Great presentation. I bought a 1979 Kawasaki Z1R the year it came out. At the time it qas the first production bike with a sub 12 sec quarter mile. With minor mods (exhaust / carb/ gusseted frame) it was great ride. 45 years and many bikes later I've come back full circle and over the 2023 Canadian winter rebuilt a 1978 Ducati 500 S Desmo that had only 1600 km on it. What a hoot to ride a new 46 y.o bike at 65 y.o.

You kept the best till last!!
The Crighton CR700 Rotary would be my choice if $$ was no obstacle. That's because sheer grunt without good "natural" handlng (without the 'need' for electronics) is no comparison to this bike, although it's never been tested against other track bikes but has incredible potential. Best value for $$ is the Hyabusa since it's so easily tuneable and lots of good used ones available. But the track filters out all of them imo. A local guy here in Ottawa, Canada is more into drag racing and consistently has over 450 RWHP using a Garret turbocharger and there have been several examples of around 600 RWHP.
So power is not the winning factor. It's the combination of handling and rideability that sets any of these bikes apart - as well as the sound, the feeling and sheer riding experience.

The suzuki TL1000 v twin is dangerous and the rotary damper is dodgy. Many have had steering dampers fitted but I do like these bikes very much. Suzuki know how to build great, fast engines, good transmissions but the finish is not great.

not at all mate, Im just a normal (hmm maybe thats stretching it) biker. i guess a lot of luck and passion helped lol. Ive had a lot of bikes over the years, so many that i did finally have to admit there was such a thing as too many 🙂 im thinning them out now and down to around ten 🙂 but i lived just down the road from Ron Haslam, was riding at donnington before the cct was even finished, and have always had many friends in and around the industry (Granby's, Len Manchester, Dream Machine, Metmachex, Spondon engineering, Mallory Park, Cadwell, Donnigton,Triumph, Ducati, Kawasaki, Yamaha, MV Agusta and Cagiva) again, luckily ive owned many bikes that other people wanted to ride, so ive had lots of opportunities for short term swaps. I spent years doing trackdays but im not a racer. also a 7spannerman who had the privelidge of knowing Terry Beckitt among others, so tuning became 2nd nature, especially when flow dynamics became part of my job 🙂 you could say, i've been around the block a few times lol. hope that explains things a bit 🙂 dont miss the Mason Klein interview, tomorrow at 6pm GMT !!!!!

I hit the like button in the very beginning out of respect for the 1st list, as for your 2nd list, that is the coolest list of motorcycles I have ever watched, seen, or read about. I of course know the basic Japanese and European bikes, I own a 21' GSXR1000R. There are a few in the middle that I have never heard of, although I did hear about the rotary bike at the end. The only place I'm interested in vacationing outside of the USA would be the ISLE OF MAN!! If I won a big lottery, which I won't because I don't play it either, I would buy that rotary bike, and the insane V8 bike with the 2 R1 motors because they sound amazing. Regarding "cleaning up" the lorry drivers comments on the rotary, just add a few asterixs to the subtitles as I don't believe anyone can understand more than two or three words he says, not even his mum, who, like the rest of us, can only understand what he's saying WITH the subtitles!

Another for gearing… A 2005/6 BMW K1200s is faster over the 1/4 mile than any of the Hayabusa’s which all Busa owners will of course dispute, the reason is the BMW tops out at around 270kph due to gearing, if racing over 1/2 mile the Busa would win because of it. Some years ago I had a 1999 R1 that was being beaten by GSXR1000’s, I dropped one tooth on the front sprocket and the R1 would just edge out the GSXR.

I've been riding since I was 5, started on a old little mini bike. That was 55 years ago and my last bike was a Triumph Daytona 955i until a P Plate driver cleaned me up, destroying the bike and costing me a finger and adding some metal to this already broken body of mine. The bikes on this list, I could guarantee that I would literally sh#t myself if I jumped onboard one, even though I've been riding for so long.
But I can appreciate them for what they are and the amount of tech that's gone into building them is astonishing, hats off to the guys that ride these bikes.

I am 66 years old and ride a 2012 Victory Cross Country Tour. I have so much fun riding the old hot rod. It for a cruiser can burn a pretty good corner, but never try to go more than twice the posted corner speed limit. It may be fine to try it a little hotter but I am old and don't heal like I used to. Motorcycles are dangerous for so many reasons that if I don't scare myself every time I ride then I may as well sell it. After all it is about the rush.

Oh yeah! Totally agree! My favorite thing about the VMax was it would literally “stand up” when you “gave it the berries” (a Guy Martin phrase 😂). In other words, the rear tire would push the swingarm so hard, the seat height increased. Easier to see than describe. 🤷🏻‍♂️👍🏼

The 2012 ZX14R dethroned the Hayabusa for the fastest 1/4 mile time in 1012. So I think it deserves to be mentioned. Rickey Gadson claims a 9.5 second 1/4 mile on a stock ZX14R with only the front end strapped down.

Love your content. Thank you. Heads up though; At 35 minutes you do a segment of the KTM 1290 Super Duke. However after the static pics of the KTM, You have the wrong riding video there. You are showing video of the Yamaha MT09 while still talking about the KTM. I ride a 2023 MT 09 SP and the sound of the triple is unmistakable. Plus its clearly the MT-09 tank with WoodCraft after market low bars. Easy mistake to make though so you are forgiven. ;-) Looking forward to more of your content. Thanks again.

Late 1970's, when still living in England, my buddy showed up with a Yamaha XS 1100.
Riding the pillion on a dual carriageway on the Wirral, he rounded a curve dropped it a couple of gears and let it rip.... two up, the acceleration was truly frightening! As a teenager, I held on, scared absolutely sh$tless.
    That was enough for me.
I was never worried about my riding, only the cars pulling out in front of me.
After I lost a mate in a head on collision and with another riding with metal pins in both legs, I hung it up.
Bit old for it now, especially how stupid drivers are here in the US.
Miss it, but I'll live vicariously through your videos.
Isle of Man riders, balls of steel. But it's road tarmac.
Big fan of Barry Sheene, but he had metal everywhere and a damaged hand.
Rd350s, X-7s, Super dreams and Kwacka triples - great memories
    Ride safe guys!

Enjoy your stuff, keep 'em comin'.
Unlike in Britain where people use motorbikes to commute, bikers in the states are mostly recreational. Drivers absolutely don't "think bike", and with mobile phones, it's even more fraught with danger from distracted drivers.
I trust myself, but even with defensive riding, and experience to see ahead, there are way too many "bad", drivers out there.
Just about everyone I know has been clipped or hit by someone. The percentages are against me.
      Kindest regards...
