You don't have to have a bunch of Powder paints to make Custom Jig Heads. In this video I'm going to show you some options for airbrushing your lead jig heads. If you are new to lure painting this is probably one of the best tools you can have. When I first started painting fishing lures I was so excited that I jumped in and started painting lure blanks without even thinking I may have to reproduce that lure again. A year later I wished I had this log book back then, because after painting a couple hundred lures sometimes remembering the colors I used, or where I even ordered the blank from became a problem.

This is awesome. I just did this to 40 jig heads this past weekend because I didn’t have powder paint. I figured if I can paint crankbaits and epoxy them, why not airbrush the jig heads!

I Think you can be a little more creative with airbrushing. Even though it takes a little longer I don't think I could create the little pumpkinseeds as good with powder paints and the color shifts look awesome. I usually sell these out pretty quickly around my area. Thanks for Watching Sir!

Good job buddy. I use the Ultra Minnow mold for spinnnerbaits and preacher jigs I make and sell. So far I have only powder coated them and that is a major pain with the spinnerbait wire. I will try your idea. Thanks.
