Hi there , i need your advice for the best possible twine to use when making a net that will last me a very long time , i plan to make my self a keeper net = its what you place fish in while your fishing with the intent to release back into the water at the end of the day , also i will be making a very large landing net , it will also be used to scoop up anything up to a 25 kilo fish , there is so called twine made in India and China , some of the stuff is called polypropylene , some polyethylene and some simply nylon , i will not be looking at monofilament because it is basically fishing line and i know it has a small lifespan , any advice will be at the very least a start because i know nothing about netting materials etc , thank you for your time and your answer

Take note of the fact that you MUST have precisely two "arfers". No information is given on what to do if you don't ... and any rectangular hole will not. So, as demonstrated it only appears to work for "diagonal" holes. For other shapes there appear to be two options, either to cut out parts of the net until you have only two "arfers" or do it in stages, cutting the mending line and starting again on another diagonal.

the way he was showing to fix this hole was more for someone who knows how to make a net in the first place bc its the same as making the net in the first place same knots same every thing

vphokis yes it is too fast for the knot but it shows you the whole picture. you need to watch another video to learn the knot but it is also helpful to see how the whole thing is organized
